Why buy a mist filter and a better "crisp clear" lens? Are they not like opposite?

Honestly they work together beautifully! The mist component is VERY subtle, just enough to add a slight halation on light sources while still retaining a sharp image.

Great content. Do you still own your fx3? What’s your perspective from a Canon user

Thanks much! Absolutely still own the FX3 and love that thing. I’ve been so impressed with the video quality, been able to integrate it into my Canon workflow way more easily than I thought.

I also use the R3, and funnily enough, also a WANDRD PRVKE 41L. It's an amazing bag but I'm looking for the best solution for the most minimal run-and-gun setup, but all the smaller camera sling bags I look at seem much too narrow for an EOS R3 body and an RF zoom lens attached. Just wondering if you'd found any good solutions for days when you don't want to bring the entire PRVKE with you? Thanks for the videos! :)

Ha, looks like I have good taste! And absolutely feel the struggle to find and edc bag deep enough for the R3, it’s a pain 🤦🏼‍♂️ I haven’t found anything I love for the R3 with a lens attached, but I have and older Langly Alpha Pro that holds the R3, a lens, and my M6 or Mavic in the lower compartment with room for a laptop, headphones, notebook, etc so that tends to be my more stripped-back bag if I’m not bringing the whole kit! Hope that helps 🙌🏼

    Was the background noise intentional?

Hey! How have you found focus breathing on the 28-70. Has it been a problem at all?

So it's definitely a thing...it's not a cinema lens that's been corrected for that and the cameras I use don't have compensation unfortunately, BUT that said it hasn't been a hugely noticeable issue? Maybe that's just because of how I use that lens specifically but I've 100% noticed it and had issues with it on my other lenses but not so much on the 28-70 (but again, it DEFINITELY breathes).

How do you like the ef 85mm1.4 on the R3? How's the Af and af noise ?

I really like it! Autofocus is quick and smooth…it’s a bit noisier than my RF 28-70 but essentially on-par with the noise level of the EF 35mm 1.4
