My mother passed away three years ago and she was a wonderful quilter. She made this quilt for my oldest brother who has also passed. I love your work it made me remember them both.
I agree with others that sashing would help the stars stand out. Try different sizes. Snowball the sashing & use cornerstones to make mini friendship stars! 🎉 BTW, I *_LOVE_* your nails! 🎉

I appreciated your doing a video with this pattern because it looked complicated to me but you broke it down in a way that was easy to follow. I liked your tip on the flying geese. This quilt has a very modern look to it which I love. I also like the secondary pattern created. The vivid color of the batiks against the black is stunning.
I'm sometimes surprised by your choices of colors, fabric, thread, but when I see the end result it's a pleasant surprise! The black background does give it the feel of stained glass. I love Robin Pickens's designs and fabrics.
