- Most of us have encountered the love triangle in Riverwood between Camilla Valerius, Faendal, and Sven. The game wants you to choose a side, but did you know that there's a far more savage way to complete this quest? Enjoy! :)
Once upon a time there was Simp Sven and Virgin Faendal who both wanted to win the heart of Foxy Camilla. Then one day the Chad Dovahkiin waltzed into town and sweeps Camilla off her feet and rode away with her into the sunset.

I chose Faendal's side. I gave her the letter and then returned the golden claw. I married her after i returned the claw. Faendal was visiting my marriage that time with his arms crossed. He left the temple and dissapeared. I was walking around one day and found Faendal's corpse.
Wtf. You think that’s on purpose by the devs? I do know there’s a bug with him where he gets downed and doesn’t get back up as a follower so I had to part ways as I was searching for him only to see him crawling to me for a long time.
@@ajharmiah2692 I actually had that bug just yesterday with Benor. I reloaded the game so many times. It turns out you just have to Fus Ro Dah him.

@@doneriskrasniqi7339 it’s fun. It’d be more fun without annoying quest breaking bugs. Also 70% of the quests are repetitive. The other 30% is unique but end up giving you crap loot anyways.

I did it too, it was so contradictory when Sven said goodbye to the Newlyweds XD. (But in the end I changed my mind and canceled the wedding by uploading the previous data.)
In my playthrough I just straight up married camillia. Faendal attended the wedding and while in the middle of the ceremony stood up and walked out of the temple. It was hilarious.
I did the same thing. Screwed Sven and Faendal over and got Camilla and my male Dragonborn married 😆

Hm I returned the golden claw and forgot I was wearing the amulet of Mars because I was gonna marry Aela later, then camila was interested. Didn’t have to do the faendal or sven mini quests
Weird thing that happened to me years ago on PS3, I never delivered the letter. I married Camilla, moved her into my home in windhelm, and I came home one day months later to find Camilla dead and Faendal on the stairs with his bow out.
Anyone else have this happen? I tried to replicate it on PC but nothing happebed.
When I married Camilla, Faendal was in my manors, but he insulted me and left my home. Then I quietly followed him, killed him, got a letter from Camilla that was sher thanking me for eliminating her rival

Sven was able to be mine. I wonder if the first one you tell "I gave the letter you wrote" to becomes the follower and locks out the other.
Should’ve kept them both alive! I did this and they showed up at the wedding 😂

Oh, i guess ill never be able to do this quest since i killed everyone in riverwood, because they all attacked me for some reason and i didn’t understand how the game works
I decided to marry Camilla this time around because, not only was her and her brother the first people we meet when the game first start, but are appreciated to the Dragonborn for helping them and ask for nothing in return. But if course, I had to deal with Sven and Faendal. So I talked to Faendal, had him give me the fake letter, spoke to Sven immediately after that, had him give me the fake letter from Faendal and give it to Camilla so she be angry at Faendal. Of course, this was all a setup to have Sven trust me so I take him to the Shrine of Boethiah and sacrifice him to the Daedric Lord. THEN to add salt to Faendal, married Camilla (which admittedly, I like her story and reason to coming to Skyrim) and now live in the manor that oversees Whiterun in the distance.
Here comes the best part: I wake up one day and Faendel was in my house right next to Camilla! She gasped when she Faendal was there and he said the line "You talking to me? After what you did?" and I am like "BITCH, YOU ARE IN MY HOUSE!'. Of course he left my home but not after quietly following him, killing him and dumping his body in a dead area full of mammoth remains. Best part? Not even seconds later I had a courier come up to me, handing me a letter from Camilla which is a thank you to me for eliminating her "rival".
So not only do I have a brother in law who owns a business, to which I invested in and sell my goods from time and time again, but a wife who thanked me for killing her "rival" all while I was the one who made her think that Faendal was the jerk AND sacrificing Sven to a Daedric Lord, thus getting rid of the competition for Camilla's heart!
Talk about the disrespect!

The wedding would have been better if you got the bugged wedding with the dead friends and they showed up.
Fandael is my favorite and I would never double-cross him ever because she is not worth it too many fish in the sea that are better than her anyday

I just did it on Switch. No mods. Just got to pick pocket the first fake letter you received from its intended target.
