@@babytiny5807 Gaming 100 hours in one week is kinda insane tho, maybe if you skip showering and doing groceries but then I would be burned out very quick. I'm a paramedic so I work odd hours and with a family FF7:rebirth might take a month of 2-3 before I'm done with it.
Just finished the main story last night with total playtime around 65 hours. In my opinion this is the best single player FF since FF X, and easily in the top 5 ever.

I got a PS5 last week just to get this game. I am 20 hours in and I have yet to find something that I honestly dislike.

This may be the most hyped I’ve been for a game in a long time. Remake was my intro to the FF series, and I freaking loved it! I seriously can’t wait for Rebirth. This review got me to pre-order a game for the first time in a LONG time.

Hey I have a question, did you ever play the original game?? Do you think you missed anything by not playing the OG?? I actually own remake, but I’ve heard the OG was recommended before playing so I’d like to know your thoughts before I start haha
I hope you played the og it would make Rebirth more enjoyable I think. I am 20 hours in and this is the first time I have bought a game as soon as it came out in a long time. I have yet to find a flaw with it besides the random low poly textures at times.
@@123hee I never played the original, but I still thoroughly enjoyed Remake and freaking loved Rebirth. I haven’t decided if I will wait to play the original until after part 3 comes out, since I’m not sure if I want it spoiled
I have never heard someone on this channel sound so enthusiastically positive about a game, the passion from falcon comes across here and it’s tremendous, the boys have never steered me wrong and this has just been preordered, it was always a day 1 purchase but now I’m excited to play, Tremendous video as always gentlemen

Been playing the crap out of the demo and took next Friday off to get a solid 3 day weekend in after launch! To say this makes Remake feel small is nuts. Put almost 130 hours into that one to earn the platinum trophy. Looking forward to blowing off reality for a while with this gem. 😁

i know its a small thing, but it makes me happy that the camera zooms out (5:20) to show the full monster you're fighting on screen rather than being so close to the player that i can't tell wtf is going on

That “rework” of the original scene was a massive head scratcher, what was the director thinking lol. Honestly it got worried for the rest of the game but it sounds like everything else is done well.

As a fan for literally my entire life. Grew up watching my step dad play and fell in love. It's so weird seeing the game brought to life. It's like a blurry memory finally being cleared up and you can finally see it for what it truly is. This game is a masterpiece
That's for the review, this channel has really helped me to not waste my money.
There are people complaining that this is bad because it has so much optional content that is challenging. And they side with SONY saying it didn't sell enough. And complain that the story is not the same as the orginal which the devs already said before remake that this wouldn't be the same.
So about the selling, obviously SONY wants more, they have set the bar too high because it's a greedy company that underpays there employees and overcharge everything including their ridiculous subscriptions.
This is a million times better than Remake, love this game!

It was hard for me to believe this was actually Falcon with how excited he sounds. I was already preordered it but if I wasn't convinced Falcons voice would have convinced me.

The original is my favourite of all time. I didn’t think I could be more stoked but the shear excitement in Falcons voice during the whole video has me super hyped.
How do they handle the progression from game one to game two, in terms of levels. Do you start at level 1 in the second game? Do you start at the same level you were in the first?
Level in Remake does not carry over to Rebirth. You start from level 1 which makes sense to avoid breaking the game.
I think in rebirth you start at 15 and go to 70.
You just had to make this video I'm excited enough.... I was 14 when the original FF7 came out and I bought it and didn't sleep but maybe 6 hours until I beat the game. I feel like Im 14 again waiting to buy it and stay up but now I have to work and I cant even stay up for a whole day anymore. I didn't even know Remake existed until I got PlayStation plus last year after getting a ps5 for FF16. Ive been waiting for Rebirth ever since I beat it.

Actually, those scooters is a kind of satirical comedy in the game, I found it really funny.
I didnt finish the first one. I really, really wanted the summon mechanic to be like it was in the original, ie you cast it, the video plays and it does dmg.
FF7 materia system is (to me) one of the best systems in amy game ever. But they didnt keep it.

If Falcon sounds this enthusiastic, I trust that this is an extremely good game. I'm glad my wife and I pre ordered that damn thing's deluxe edition and done a week worth of my workload which I'm hoping would be enough for at least the main story.
2 weeks after this video dropped and I’m about half way through the game. Just left Coral prison and it is amazing! I’ll check back in when I beat it, but I am really loving it as much as Falcon sounds to be here.

@@rommelthedesertfox3089 oh yeah. It was amazing. I intend to do a hard mode run but there are so many other games I’ve been meaning to play I’m taking a little break. I’ll return to it someday. There’s so much to do, I was at 90 hours when I beat it, then went back to chapter 13 to wrap up some side quests and mini games I didn’t finish.
I had to remember to start using the block for the boss in the demo! Don't remember that being a heavy relied on mechanic in remake. But can't wait
Just finished and oh boi, i havent cried this much in a long time. This is a must play 10/10, the last 2 chapters alone are spectacular with a final boss I couldnt believe was made possible in how good it was. I have no idea how they are gonna top this in part 3 if its possible, but this is prime square enix if you loved part 1 this will not disappoint you
So the game just came out, and the performance mode is still the same shitty blur as the demo. Quite sad to see falcon lie about this in a video about "before you buy". Could just acknowledge the issue and say, still worth the buy, instead of lying and saying "dont fall for the demo, final game looks better than it".

How do they approach the 'levelling' issue from game to game? Do you start this game at the level that the last one ended at? Or do you start at lvl 1 with all of the gear from the first game? Interested to know
They said they made a rough estimated level that most players tended to end Remake at and made that the starting level for Cloud and co. in Rebirth, you don't carry over your level from your Remake save file into Rebirth's beginning

What a time to be a gamer 😍 litteraly did my first full playthrough of remake while I already bought rebirth ( I hadn’t finished it but started over) then the yuffie dlc, watched a very detailed recap of crisis core and then immediately started rebirth. I was so afraid of getting burned out but rebirth is so amazing and the tone is so refreshing I am even more hooked now, on days off work I can play this game all day without getting bored. And this only months after the ride that was baldur’s gate 3.. gaming is going hard rn damn

How did you not get burnt out by the atrocious open world. The chocobo missions were quit possibly the worse then staring at a blank wall
@@HenryDurth I only do the side missions, and mini games, don’t bother with the intel stuff and you can just skip all the side missions too if you want so 🤷♂️

This makes me sad our gaming room is out of commission for a couple weeks (our basement flooded thanks to a sump pump going out during a 2" of rain in an hour storm a couple weeks back). FFVII was the one game I played constantly in the late 90s while I was living in the dorms for college, and I loved the remake. If this is better than the remake, it just makes me more excited to have the new floors in our game room in the basement done next week so that I can dive into this! With Spider-man 2 in the books, I've needed another really good story driven game to look forward to, and this looks to be it! Woo!
Are the items you get for buying the digital deluxe addition worth it or useful at all?
There are far better items as you move early in the game, however, the summon materia, like Magic Pot, is cool since you won't be able obtain that in any part of the game.

I took HUGE issue with the story in Remake so I doubt I will be picking this one up but it will be nice to see all the old areas with a new coat of paint from let's plays and whatnot.
Man ive never seen Falcon so excited for a game. I think this is the first time ive seen him like this. So the game must be That good.
For those that need a little extra convinving, it is absolutely worth it. One thing i was worried about was the difficulty progression. Last gamd had me scratching my head with how hard some of thr spikes felt, but this games been good so far. Im about 20 hours in, and while i do get stomped sometimes, i can almost always make a comeback, and if not, I do significantly better the second attempt. Using the Assess materia is a must as youll find a single spell will do more than half their health or stagger bar compared to just wailing on them for like 30 seconds. Its tricky but once it clicks it feels good. Some of the "bosses" will pull some crazy stuff out of nowhere but it never felt cheap or unfair. Cant reccomend this game enough
As long as the easy mode is legit once the game gets hard that I can switch to like I did in the first game.
I played Remake on easy mode actually, to just enjoy the story and the game. I normally play games on hard.. For Rebirth I switched to normal, and quite frankly there are sections that do feel unfair and cheap, and part of the game is hard, like hard mode in other games. Even with tweaked materia, and everything setup as you want, it will still get hard.
So, easy mode should be a serious consideration for those who just want to enjoy the game and story while having a reasonable combat experience. Mostly the unreasonably hard parts are some bosses and some forced sections of the game, other than that normal is ok too.
The difficulty felt perfect, i was on dynamic. Just use assess if you are having trouble.

The easiest and fastest way in winning boss fights in this game is divide the enemie's HP total by 3. Then whatever number you come to you then want to allow each one of your party members to dish out that amount of damage individually .
The “before you buy” is because first you need to play Reunion then 7 remake and then Rebirth.

I never thought the FF7 remakes would be huge like this, when they first announced they were splitting them into multiple games i was expecting like 10-15 hr games at most for each one not something huge like they delivered. This is how to make games, full that can be long but still fun and not just padded with boring content.
Great video 👍🏻 but of course the story is gonna change. If you understand the premise of Remake it’s not just a remaking of the game. It’s called remake because the defeated Sephiroth of the previous game is trying to “remake” past events by doing some crazy interdimensional time travel stuff so he can continue his quest at godhood. Remake is a continuation of the FF7 story, not just a remake of the game.
I was already so pumped I bought the game twice (physical/digital),but sweet cheeesus your giddy-excited-ass-voice throughout this video made me wanna go buy a third copy! 😅 Seriously cannot wait until next week!!

I hope FF17 merges 7-R's indepth battle system and FF16's movesets. FF16 has more grounded battle animation while 7R feels too floaty at times.
I am born in 83 and i had the first playstation and FF7 was my first real rpg game... my first playtrough was 57 hours and i still love it... WHY IS XBOX NOT BUYING AND PUBLISHING THIS??? I cant afford a playstation right now and i am drooling over this game

I'm hyped that we should be done calling it a remake. And I share the curiosity what random R would will be used for the final game. Though I suppose that's a question for 2029 or something.
I'm looking forward to when they announce this for PC, that is when I plan to pick up the first one with the hope that once I am done with it the next part will be available on PC for me to continue the story. I enjoyed the original FFVII, and while the changes in the story weren't unexpected, I still look forward to revisting the world and retelling of the story again.
This is just hearsay but I’m pretty sure it’s coming to PC in May, which would be next month. Dont quote me on that though. I’m only hoping LOL I am very excited. In either case though I am sure the wait won’t be too long.

Yuffie is AMAZING!!! I use her as my party leader all the time. She is a stagger monster and her elemental ninjitsu is second to none. She is a powerhouse. Having her, Cloud and Tifa as my main party is pure chaos. I really hope they launch another "intermission" with Vincent being the main character. I know, they said they aren't going to put out a dlc for rebirth, but they've said that before so I'm hoping this is another one of those instances.

My main concern was the ghosts from the first game. I'm not expecting a full explanation before the third game comes out, but do you get a better idea of who they are in Rebirth? (a yes or no will suffice to prevent spoilers) Other than the game look so frickin good and I love your excitement and passion, Falcon.
Alot of minor things and lore bits are revealed in Rebirth, rather than a huge story progression and reveal of where exactly the story is going.
I didn't even recognize the voice at first, I think Falcon likes this game.

Say whatever you want about the looks but the fact that it can hold 60 majority of the time with such a seamless world and super flashy fights is crazy. With some tweaking and fixing of the post processing it’ll look really good.
But still I thought for a PS5 exclusive it would have higher fidelity. At least on par with Remake
