    I’ve got to say, the hp tools are more aesthetically pleasing. The light green never got me going. I was drawn to the red. Didn’t look too bad, its probably too close in price to the milwaukee fuel in the UK right now, reckon itll come down pretty rapid. Thanks for the content!

    Smeeesh button done. I just felt that the guard should still be on the grinder while using the carving disk. I saw the carving disk way too close to your red hoody, it can be very dangerous.

    Great video! I have a few Ryobi tools that work really well: sanders, nailer, staple, and even a grass trimmer. However, if I need a tool with power and precision I go with Bosch.

    Check the battery terminals on the hp, mine would shutdown with a 4 amp battery cutting through 8 mm bolt. swapped for a 5 amp hp and it worked out of sight.

    I always have 2 grinders going. For cutting I use my m18 fuel. But I still have a corded one I use for wire wheel cleaning welds and removing paint. I'm thinking of getting this rioby to replace the corded one. I think the rioby would fit the bill and save me $100.

    Does this grinder accept type 1 blades/discs? According to the manual, My Ryobi P4221 should only be used with type 27. Try finding a type 27 turbo diamond blade!! Still looking. Makes this unit of less use.

    This grinder appears it will fit my needs. Those being for around the house sharpening gardening tools such as shovels, shears, hoe, mattock, cutting rebar, and the like. Though a file is less expensive, using one does become old.
    When you were cutting the 1/4”, would a better grade cutoff blade perform faster than the one included in the kit? If yes, what brand would you recommend?

    What thickness was the metal cutting blade? When I had to cut a steel lintel with my Milwaukee grinder, the batteries were used up quickly. I ended up using the Dremel Ultra Saw with its metal cutting blade, and it cut faster!!

    • @ToolReviewZone

    • @ZeoCyberG
      @ZeoCyberG 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Better, just still a entry level home owner/DIY'er brand offering. HP line adds a little better self power regulation, some self protection feature to make it a bit more reliable and harder to brick, able to peak performance a little longer but that's about it... Though, the regular HP line at least can use the HP+ batteries, the compact versions they released earlier could not benefit from those...

    • @craigchiddo2794
      @craigchiddo2794 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZeoCyberG do you have both I have most of the regular brushless stuff but didn't get the grinder I don't like the prices of this stuff for a little more I could buy milwaukee just wondering if it's worth the extra money or if I should keep looking for a good deal on the older stuff

    • @ZeoCyberG
      @ZeoCyberG 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@craigchiddo2794 The HP tools are basically their premium line like the Fuel is for Milwaukee. Bare tool prices do get close to the regular Milwaukee's but batteries and deals will make the Milwaukee cost more in total but Milwaukee is the pro tool brand. So can be worth it but get the Fuel if you want a significant difference, even the 12v is pretty good then and better than any other 12v brand...
