Most people that use angle grinders don't even know where their wrench is. We just push the wheel lockdown and twist the wheel counter-clockwise and off it comes, do the reverse to install a wheel.

Why did they take the tool that tightened the nut out of the handle. That’s what I loved about the old model

The new wheel nut is to me toolless, bro, you use that tab to tighten it. Also that plastic guard is for use with a cutoff wheel, not the standard wheel.

Have you used the grinder very often? I just read quite a few reviews where people are having issues with the brushless model cutting out randomly, some after a only a few minutes. Seems to be only with the brushless, whether it is the trigger or maybe heat issues?

Hmm, that’s interesting. I haven’t had any issues with mine yet. I wonder if they are using the standard battery versus the HP battery? I know from experience that when using the HP battery on my HP Ryobi tools, they never cutout, but they will when using the standard battery.

No gloves or goggles sir?! Bad form. Always wear protection. That said, I need one of those attachments/guards. And thank you for showing me I can use mine to sharpen things and tools. Do you think I can sharpen machetes and shovels with this? I used the cut off blade to cut framing for glass shower doors

Ah yes, safety first my friend. I did have on eye protection but no gloves. I would think you should have no problem sharpening those items. Sounds like you have a skill there, very nice! Thanks for viewing.

@@DeanoOutDoors thank you for your reply! so luckily I measured 3x and cut once-and the metal shower door frame fit really good. Do you have any advice on to how to get cleaner cuts? Or does it just take practice? I guess I could use the cut off tool and then the grinder to clean up?

I apply lighter pressure but will still get edges that I later grind down. It’s almost impossible to avoid sharp or rough edges with the cutoff wheel. Best advice, take your time and grind off the roughest edges, then come back with Emery cloth to add the finishing touch.

Tim from Canada you did not give the model number for the grinder.. there is no link in the description like you said. A real person out in the field doing this kind of work would not need a bar to assist them with the Granger if people need assistance with the tools, then they should not be using the tool… quite the fancy set up, you have on the side of your work table, having that sissy bar there to help you control the grinder be a big boy get out there take your sissy burger off use the grinder make a man still waiting for the model number for the grinder. There is no link in your description for your grinder. WHY
