Hey Randy how you doing. Viewing your videos for quite a while now love every bit of it, Keep up the hard work you are doing out there. Bro i would love to see Toyota Camry model 97 to 2001 in your channel and also Land cruiser model 2000 and above. Please buy it for the Channel bro. Thanks alot bro
Randy, your best videos are when your are doing what you do best: repairing and rebuilding cars. Period. Of course we are interested in the things you do in your daily life (you are an interesting character), but the cars are still what brings us back. Take care. -
Hi Randy. Good memories with that SUV for me. I purchased one of the first ML’s that his the auction just a couple of months after they came out. I rebuilt it myself. It had very little damage. It was black similar to the one you have. Keep in mind that this was the first German Luxury SUV sold for us here in America. At the time they were highly desired and people were paying way over sticker. The engine and transmission were great, but the rest was so so. The Valeo radiator was OEM for that era BTW. Thanks for posting.
I bought one of these in 2014 with 68,000 mile, very pristine, paid 6500. It's now at 115k. I was worried about high maintenance prices but your video will help me out with DIY a lot in the future. I love mine. Thanks!
Hey Randy! Repairing a car all day and night and testing it at 5:30am?! That is commitment. Loves you are back into rebuilds. I was thinking that perhaps you got Covid-19 when you were sick as a beast recently and did not know it. Apparently 50% of those who test positive don’t have any symptoms and it might have started earlier than December. Oh and you are right, these cars are not perfect but they are perfect for *someone*. Stay strong and good luck. Sending alot of likes all the way from Canada.
Great video Randy. I bet thats a $2000 car all day! She looks good all cleaned up. I seem to remember someone saying "who's gonna watch me wash cars?". Looks like over 16,000 of us! LOL.... Keep up the great work. We all appreciate the effort you're putting in. Can't wait for the next one!
I just subscribed and have been watching your vids for the past week now. I really like the honesty and professionalism in they way you do your business. If every dealership had the same mentality that you do I think people would feel better about dealerships (even though your not a dealer). Ill keep watching. I have an e39 BMW and that's how I found you. BTW if you do end up buying an e39 thats nice and complete make sure you get a facelift version ('01-'03) and try to get a manual. Stay healthy and safe man! -Mike Moyer
Hate doing radiators on frickin' Mercs! Did an SLK a few weeks back, bumper skin, cross member, headlamps, fans, condenser all had to come out. Best part of 3 hours to break down, install new radiator, put everything back on, went to attach the overflow pipe to the reservoir and it's a different diameter! And Mercedes use plastic twist fit pipes not rubber onto a nipple so I had to take the whole thing out and do the job again when the correct rad turned up.
Hey Randy. You spoiled me! I look for your videos everyday and have missed seeing you daily. Do what you got a do and stay healthy! Say hi to Jessica too!
Very informative video Randy. I loved being in many ML320’s when I was younger. Much love from the UK. Cannot wait to see how much fun you have with the Cobalt SS
Sorry for the late post. From UK here, great content. Wish the cars I find here were as rust free as what you work on. Btw, Valeo is an OE supplier for a lot components on European cars most likely including the rad on the ML. You will also likely find some Valeo parts on the E39 too.
*Man i LOVE that ML320 just like it sets.i would probably put some smoother riding shocks on it but that's it. other than that i would totally daily that thing. Proudly! Can't afford it though until i sell my latest project i have all the parts but no time to install them yet because my 9-5 is keeping me traveling constantly right now* pus once it's gone to Mike it's as good as gone any way
I looked at a ML 8 months ago it was one owner 200k super clean parked under a car port daily since new, Maryland inspected 3,500$ it was probably the smoothest thing I ever road in. Had all the paper work and records from the same dealer. I called them back the next morning and it was sold. Those rims on ur ML need to be thrown in the dump Haha great vid Randy
Your voice told the whole story as the video continued. It was a lot more involved than you thought. You're a good egg. I would have gotten very discouraged.
Do some wheel/tire shine! McGuire’s makes excellent products. It add shine, deep black to the tires which takes off years and makes your car look much better!
Valeo is a car parts brand based in France. They make factory OEM parts for European cars like VW, BMW, Land Rover etc. That Valeo radiator is the original factory one.
Fixed up and “cleaned”properly this Merc should fetch between $4-5,000. It’s a good looking car. Really must have a good detail. Weird Beard does the best job of cleaning headlights and detailing.
Thats a black knob piece left of the steering wheel, if you push it up it will lock the steering wheel back in position. When you look push it down it will unlock the steering wheel to allow you to adjust the steering wheel Up or Down.
Nice work on this one Randy and seems like still in the profit zone. Sidenote you seem to be getting better deals from IAA vs Copart. OCD here but are you going to fix the lights in the cluster? On most American cars you can pull it and just replace the bulbs...may be a lot harder in an MB but so far this car seems to deserve the love. Beemer next I hope that car is just waiting to be brought back to life.
NEVER GET A 2009 Ford Edge with engine problems. I’m replacing the engine because the water pump went out and it is a complete nightmare. The water pump is driven off of the timing chain, it has a plastic impeller, you have to take the entire timing system apart and pull the motor out of the bottom of the car to change it, and you have no way of knowing it’s bad until the engine hydro locks. Hopefully you have a great rest of your quarantine and the best of luck on current and future projects.
Grateful your back in your right mind. Kind of sketch a few vids ago but like a cat land on your feet.. Yay would have hated to leave your valued entertainment... You go ...
Why it didn't start sstraight away is probably because you didn't prime the fuel system before cranking. When cranking you create a serious voltage drop which means the fuel pump struggles to raise the pressure needed for the engine to fire. If you need something to do while waiting check your dash bulbs because they'll be lit.
That old Mercedes came out well Randy. 'It is what it is' as you Americans say and none the worse for that. I have to say that black BMW just needs to stay black! Do the Bonnet and roof (I think it was?) at Maaco, save yourself some money and get it sold. Its another solid car once the radiator is done. Keep safe Randy. And best regards from the UK.
The cheapest method for headlights is to use microfiber cloths and rubbing compounds. I personally use turtle wax. Take your time, let it sit, then buff it out. No need to get any kind of fancy restoration kit or anything.
The whole car will rattle. They rattle lol...but mine was worse when the window regulator failed at around 185k. You should replace the front shocks to make it ride better, dirt cheap and super easy. Those hideous rims and sporty tires are not doing the ride any favors. The original few years' 16s with some Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires...make it ride decent. Also, fix the speedo light! It's super easy.
Good morning everyone!! Videos will come out on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat until further notce.

That vacuum coolant system is really cool.

The steering wheel warning light is the steering wheel is not locked into position...
Randy you are a treasure! You are the only person that I have ever seen that washes a car from the bottom to the top. Good job!
Thanks again for sharing! I hope you made out good on the ML! Looked like a steal! Everyone be safe there! Take care and God bless you all!

I tell myself that I will but im too lazy when i actually come to it lol
Me too ALWAYS.
I do, all the time
Great video. Good to see Randy getting hands on again and getting these cars restored to usable vehicles.
Congratulations on hitting 220K !!

Member for life Randy! I enjoy your content brother
I appreciate that
Nice job Randy! Headlights so important. The older u get,the more light ur eyes need to see good.
Thomas Corsatea that’s why Xenons and hids are the way to go. Halogens are very outdated light tech

Right on Amos! I’m running with HID in my Chevy Equinox & I put LED in wife’s Chevy CRUZE.
The mercedes ml320 came out looking great Randy. Thank for the video
Bro! I was bidding on that cavalier u have out there! Had 88k miles! Lol. Man I was bummed I couldnt get it. I got a lumina chevy instead for 125$lol
Hey Randy. You spoiled me! I look for your videos everyday and have missed seeing you daily. Do what you got a do and stay healthy! Say hi to Jessica too!
I would have pressure washed everything when I had it apart.
Or before I started work. I hate getting all dirty if you don't have to!!
dana44s 😁😏😏😳🐰🐸😁😛

I love my ml350 til I totaled it that one if you fix it up you will love it
`good job randy. you polished up that benz all good and shiny like.
Very informative video Randy. I loved being in many ML320’s when I was younger. Much love from the UK. Cannot wait to see how much fun you have with the Cobalt SS

Great Job Randy, rescuing another one!!

Is the a car where Randy hasn't said "Really, really love this car"? Love your passion dude!! Keep up the good work!!
Turn the steering wheel to the left then to the right 3 times that light will go out. It happens on my BMW once in a while and that fixes it.
The key to your success is You are honest
Congratulations for the 220k subscribers, keep up the excellent video quality
Looking good Randy keep up good work man
Good job, Randy!

Yeah it came out looking good.
I always enjoy watching your videos keep up the great work
Stay safe Randy, really appreciate the content.
Thanks for the nice videos it helps too much when we stay at home.
Keep up the good work Randy
Great work once again 👍
Do some wheel/tire shine! McGuire’s makes excellent products. It add shine, deep black to the tires which takes off years and makes your car look much better!
I’m love watching your video about vehicles! 🇬🇧 here watch it 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I reckon when the bumper is painted and the whole car machine polished and waxed it will look pretty good 👍 and don't forget the tyre sheen !!😀
Nice video!!! I like the ml320
That was an awesome suv. Good job fixing the radiator. 👍🏻🙂
It cleaned up nice.
Valeo is a car parts brand based in France. They make factory OEM parts for European cars like VW, BMW, Land Rover etc. That Valeo radiator is the original factory one.
Randy you put in work on this one. You never disappoint. The haters can suck it. lol ha ha
Fixed up and “cleaned”properly this Merc should fetch between $4-5,000. It’s a good looking car. Really must have a good detail. Weird Beard does the best job of cleaning headlights and detailing.
The ML was American made in that era. No Daimler signature sticker o the front window on these.
Randy, you cannot go wrong with an E39 5series, one of the best BMW chassis of all time
You should be able to get 2g at least from this beast, did I spot the cavalier in the background
good job randy 👍👍👍 you and weird beard complete each other
Thats a black knob piece left of the steering wheel, if you push it up it will lock the steering wheel back in position. When you look push it down it will unlock the steering wheel to allow you to adjust the steering wheel Up or Down.
pretty good video Randy, that radiator on the Benz came out great! good going! really enjoyed it!
I first watch your video when you first got the ford f150 keep Pushing bro god bless...
Man, that looks like a beast of a job. Looks like you have fell into some deals as of recent. That's awesome
Love the content! Stay safe Randy!!!
I didn’t realize that thing only had 115K miles on it. That’s easily $3000-$3500 if it has a clean title.
It is, if you fix it up. He left a taped brake light and didn't even clean the door jams. Half the work= half the pay!
Great video. Game in at the end so on my rewatch list
Great job once again.
"Flitz" for headlights is all you need save money works on glass and paint and chrome etc
Nice work on this one Randy and seems like still in the profit zone. Sidenote you seem to be getting better deals from IAA vs Copart.

Ford 3.5 V6 is known for doing that sort of thing. Changing the chains of that thing is hell
Grateful your back in your right mind. Kind of sketch a few vids ago but like a cat land on your feet.. Yay would have hated to leave your valued entertainment... You go ...
Gloves for protection of your hands is a good idea but yes I do forget also sometimes of wearing them too.
Didnt sound really happy during the repair, but nice job doing the repair yourself. Still can get the hands dirty, like to see the work👍
That sho
be lookin good bro👍🏿
Yeh,the headlights came up really good 👍
Great video randy
It will make somebody a good car!! Looks good!

Good job love ur videos
Love the OG Cavalier back there
Headlight polish...Turtle Wax Metal Polish. One application with buffer and they are super clear. Quick and easy. Learned from Monkey Wrench .
You should start at 2 Grand
That old Mercedes came out well Randy. 'It is what it is' as you Americans say and none the worse for that.

I'm a little confused. If you moved, why are you still using the garage at your old house? Enjoying the videos. Keep 'em coming.
Hell here in WV that suv would sell on a used car lot for $3500 if not more
Decent little beater with a heater
Not a huge fan of the ml's but glade to see you back to the rebuild part of AAR looking foward to the cobalt SS.
Just be glad u dont have to do spark plugs on it did them at work before and they are a pain on those
You should take advantage and clean up the engine bay when you had everything dismantled an do a how to for the headlights
The cheapest method for headlights is to use microfiber cloths and rubbing compounds. I personally use turtle wax. Take your time, let it sit, then buff it out. No need to get any kind of fancy restoration kit or anything.
Tip. Brass cleaner works good on headlights
Seen the old school cavalier in the background!🧐🤪
Looking forward to that video
My BAD 1400...💪💯
Randy has a knack for buying "pissed off, pissing cars"....lol
In Oregon, that SUV completely sorted with the bumper painted black would easily bring $2250-$2500. I’d list it for $2800
The front door has a slight rattle.
Maybe you can look into it Randy
The whole car will rattle. They rattle lol...but mine was worse when the window regulator failed at around 185k. You should replace the front shocks to make it ride better, dirt cheap and super easy. Also, fix the speedo light! It's super easy.
The light on the dash that came on was the steering adjustment lever is not locked in place
are those headlights aimed properly
they also came with bi xenons projector headlights later on
I know you did but you rembered to plug the electric fans in right?
where did you get that cooling system vac tool?????????????
Stephen Meade Amazon
Good job wish I had the 1500 to buy that Mercedes always wanted that model
Nice work. I'm looking for a truck like this one what year was it ? And what's the name of the scanner you use.
It's looking good
