You should probably get 4 matching tires due to it being all wheel drive that’s how you have transmission and transfer case issues.

I agree, he always mentions you can tell the way people take care of their car by looking at the tires, if they match it has been taken care of, if they dont then just the minimal care has been taken. I`m sure he can find 40,000 mile tires for $350 and get the money back in the sale price.

I was thinking the same thing. The mismatched tires may even be the cause of traction control/abs codes.

All of the codes that are coming up for your Mercedes ML320 resemble a issue I had with a 2000 Chevy Blazer. The diaphragm for the spider fuel injection system had crack and was just dumping fuel into the cylinders. It was causing the car to run very rich and even caused my catalytic converter to go bad. I was also getting a p0410 secondary air injection system code. I hope this helps you out because the codes showing up really lead me to believe it's a similar issue.

I have had a lotta luck cruising OfferUp and the like for car needs. Bought a set of rims tires, tires like New for $125. Got a whole set of leather, power seats with good airbags front, back, no tears like New, $50. I recently traded some wheels and tires ,17", I didn't need for a Hood, bumper cover, bumper, front lights and trunk struts, All new looking. Saved $400. By the way, my friend does what you do, has an App on his cellphone that let's him know cars for sale by private owners where ever he goes. Lots of Non Running cars that don't need much to flip. He also works with an auto title place where it's only $1 to call and check if title is clear. The cars pop up on his cell app , 5 mile radius as he moves.

Often times, a couple of faults can spawn multiple codes; I think you had a CAN communications fault which can certainly have this effect. Similarly a fault with the EGR (which you have) can create cat etc. codes. Ideally you want to look at live readings to get an idea what is going on - good luck.

Also a lot of the codes you got were stored not current just worry about the current codes. Good luck.

    • @blakepatton6520

Most CAN-Bus codes are triggered by low voltage. In this case, the car sat for 4 years, was driven on the Copart lot without the alternator charging (belt was broken) and the battery had insufficient voltage for the CAN-Bus system to function properly. Resolve voltage issues (i.e. New battery or full recharge), clear codes, then drive. Any true faults will set codes. One common problem on Mercedes is a failure of a multi-relay module commonly referred to as the "K40" relay module. I once bought a 1997 W210 E420 which suddenly developed 14 different codes for various systems, from Engine Management, Transmission, ABS, ESP, etc. all at once. CEL, ABS, ESP lights on, speedo was inop, transmission was stuck in 2nd gear... Replaced the K40 module and all faults disappeared. Same component disabled my 2000 W220 S500. Gear position indicator failed to light up when KOEO, which prevented the starter from engaging. Simple, and common fix... The part was about $120, and it took 15 minutes to replace.

Flushing the AC system works well, professionals do that instead of replacing the condenser. Kits arent too expensive, flush fluid isn't cheap, but Much cheaper than a Condenser. G/L

Change the fuel filter, run a couple of tanks of fuel in with Techron fuel injector cleaner and they may clean up a bit.
