11. Being tired or Extreme fatigue impairs your reaction time, be well rested and if your not feeling it a particular day, leave the bike at home or get more rest.
I advise everyone who has never ridden a motor to take a motorcycle safety training class these classes are a little pricey but the skills and riding tips are priceless. I got my 1974 Iron head when I was 20 I am 62. Be safe ride safe.
You said to wear bright colors but all that I saw throughout this video was road camo [black and gray] jackets and pants except the one guy in a bright t-shirt doing training. Even as a rider, I have a hard time noticing another rider wearing black-gray gear. My buddy had a lady pull out on him in his dark gray pickup truck and totalled both vehicles. She said she never saw him, his new truck is red. Wear bright colors my fellow riders, see and be seen!!!
I've seen a number of collisions because a rider/driver believed green means GO! It means proceed IF safe to so. Amber means, you need to be aware of the idiot on your 6.
All excellent points! I've observed them all since I started riding back in 1982, and I've never been in an accident. Yes, I've tipped over and I've had one front tire blowout resulting in a crash, but no accidents from foolish decisions or senseless riding. Thanks for the great reminders!! Repetition is the key to learning, so we need to hear these rules often!
Agree with all points but point 10 does stands out we all should listen constructive criticism from qualified instructors to learn and improve to reduce our weaknesses.
We ride and stop for lunch/dinner. I'll always have one beer. one. in one hour it will be gone, which is the time we eat. Like everything, if you abuse, you open yourself up for it. Obey traffic laws: now if only more car and truck owners would watch this video.. Overall, nice tips.

In UK a green traffic light does not mean, "Go." It means, "Procede if it is safe to do so." There's a diffenece.
