Very glad to watch the new video. I have been skating for a year and got into wizard skating recently. I would just say "How cool is that!" before, but after some practicing, I start to understand and appreciate some of the moves that you made. It opens my eyes to learn the numerous possibilities of composing the turns, steps and moves. When I looked up "ice dance" in TH-cam search, I was very happy to find out that we do similar moves as ice dancers, even though ours might not be so appeasing aesthetically. It made me believe wizard skating, done beautifully, could also be a kind of art. My favorite part of this video is the dance you did between 4:10 to 4:50, how relaxed it is.
Thanks for the nice comment, and wishing you a fulfilling skating journey! It’s my goal to create a style that never pushes, only carves and swivels in a perpetual fluid way. I think we can get there!
Thank you! I was just using my iPhone SE on 4K/60fps setting. I realized I could play music from my watch and record full resolution on the phone at the same time, whereas before I would play music from my phone and have to use photo mode to capture video on my phone, which is a lower quality video
