- I went to LA to film some new content for y'all, and on the first run of the day... I completely torched myself.
Id consider this the worst fall of my career.
Im definitely sore but thankful to still be doing what I love. Tons of new content coming to you soon. This is just the start!

Alot of the time they die even with the helmet, they have tried to make all kinda designs but even the guys practicing for xgames die doing this. This is something you do when you dont care about anything or anyone, because its just a matter of when the family gets the call.

bro everyone’s talking about the fall but HOLY CRAP ARE WE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT THE DRIVER? their reaction time is on point, and I get it’s kinda their job to do this as his cameraman so they had to have had practice by now, but like that was insane. saved from being run over by milliseconds. props to the cameraman, we love to see it. Not easy having such good reaction time while also speeding 40-60+ mph down a mountain side, staying in speed with cole, and watching to make sure you don’t run him over. anyway you two are both talented in your own respects, sending love

As someone that went unconscious for 60 seconds following a pretty bad back-fall at 31mph: this video hurt to watch. It's been years and I don't think my vision will ever return to normal. God bless you man

Not a judgement but can I ask if you were wearing a helmet? I'm trying to gauge if you still have to worry about head injury while wearing one.
Your head is unlikely to be cracked open, but you can absolutely get a serious concussion with a helmet.

Cole is a true legend for continuing to skate after falling plus getting injured and then getting up like is was nothing.
After a fall like that I'd be too rattled to continue, both physically and mentally. Huge props to you bro for getting back on it, but you also look so loose and comfortable on the board even after the crash. Excellent focus and composure. Can't wait for more content, Cole!

I would assume they got someone down range to radio about that. Also strangely the road looks one was with the yellow line to the left and the words painted on it. But that seems bizarre for something with an elevation change like that.
That road is unique because it's one way down so you don't risk uphill traffic.
How many years of doing this did it take before you felt comfortable having a car fly behind you at such high speeds?

At speed like that, ouch... I was doing 25 mph on a bike path and came around the corner upon a runner in my lane and a runner coming from the other direction, on the curve. I took the grass in order to avoid hitting someone, and foolishly tried to get back on the concrete... didn't realize there was about an inch lip, and both wheels hit the lip at the same time. Went over like a door on a hinge and slammed me into the ground, feet still locked into the pedals. It seemed like I could hear my ankle grinding on the concrete more than I could feel it.
The guy running from the other direction apologized to me, I put my hand up and shook my head (still sitting on the ground) and let both of them know that it was my fault... and apologized to them for disrupting their workout. I has blood running from about 4 different places, still kept my spirits up "Oooh that's going to leave a mark" when I saw the bottom of my arm all tore up. I had to ride 3 more miles to get back to my vehicle, the air hitting mangled skin hurt so bad, even at a reduced speed.
What is crazy is that this video has a guy going probably twice as fast as I was going, freaking OUCH!!!
After a lot of horrible accidents on inline skates, I know that really hurt

I used to skateboard 5 years ago. I was new to it but had learnt a few skills and also use to go full speed on it on quite roads. There’s been a few times where I’ve injured myself from skateboarding on the road which was quite bad. But one time at night I was skateboarding down a steep road and lost my balance and fell onto the road. I remember I couldn’t move my body for around 10 seconds and badly scraped my arm. I haven’t skateboarded since

I also do longboarding like this becuase of adrenaline but I don’t like have a camera or TH-cam channel so I just do it for fun and I once had this accident on a steep hill and I sprained my Hand and the doctor said I had a very close call to breaking my leg so yeah seeing you do this and getting back up again and doing it again is actually insane my respect to you man, crazy.👍👊

I too have a lapis blue mk7 Golf R, its a great choice for this purpose, extremely capable down this kind of road but with much more supple suspension than other similarly capable cars providing smoother shots.

If this happened to me I would forget about it and turn around, your impressive dude!
I had similar crash years ago. Hit a small bump in road, speed wobble and board jackknifed. Remember flying through air headfirst thinking "damn, I'm gonna land on my head"". Somehow managed to twist body round and landed on right shoulder. Apart from the road rash didn't realise I'd shattered end of collar bone and fractured scapula until next day when right arm wouldn't work.

I think that is a very nice fall. You managed to land in a way that you cushioned your fall resulting in some torch and scratches, but no bone injury like fracture or anything. Great job on the helmet too.
