Synfig for beginners: 24 - Switch Controls

This is an introductory series into Synfig. The version used in this video is 1.3.16. Synfig is an opensource 2D animation software with many powerful tools and features. It's still being developed but with each update, it gets better and better.
You can create controls to make the process of animating much faster. Controls are used to manipulate the properties of objects.

Could this work for hands too? Say I want to change different hand gestures? Or is it just for the mouth?

Hey bro great video, you really are a good teacher but I keep getting This problem, whenever I rotate and change to a different mouth type it goes to a while new position?

before animating, when setting up position all the mouth shapes to be in the same place. It's possible that you didn't place all the mouth shapes in the same position on top of each other

Mine doesn't have Z-Range.. only Z-Depth

Z-Range shows on folders, so if you select a folder and look through it's properties you'll see Z Range as well. You may have to scroll depending on your size screen to see it
