    This is an introductory series into Synfig. The version used in this video is 1.3.16. Synfig is an opensource 2D animation software with many powerful tools and features. It's still being developed but with each update, it gets better and better.
    In this tutorial, I show you how to make a very simple head rig.
    Download Synfig:
    gumroad.com/a/431289555 (Synfig stable version)
    gumroad.com/a/57996499 (Synfig development version)

    Thanks for this tutorial. Is there any keyboard shortcut to group selected layers? I tried to search in preferences but there doesn't seem to be one. Given that this is such a frequently used operation I hope there is some shortcut for it.

      Yes there is. Use the transparent circle under the green(origin point) when a group is selected to move the pivot wherever you want

      @@osanmiru5281 there's a snap tool. It look like a 🧲 magnet. Depending on the version of Synfig you are using, it will either be at the top or the right side of the synfig canvas window

    • @YOWKhemardi
      @YOWKhemardi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure the pupil and the white part of the eyes are in a folder by themselves, then set the pupils to onto.
