  • It's becoming pretty normal filming these fire cleanups lol, yesterday I was just chilling at home when I got a fire alert happening in my area. I viewed the alert, and sure enough, it was a garbage truck on fire. We waited for a bit before we went over there because the cleanup crew still had to arrive. When we finally got over there, NASA already had a skid steer, shovels, and dumpsters ready to clean the mess up. Not sure as to what caused the fire since I forgot to ask though lol.
    We asked why they had a skid steer ready and how they were able to get it so fast, the supervisor said it's part of their safety program. Hands down, this is the fastest I've seen a burned load get cleaned up, NASA definitely proved themselves more efficient than their neighboring competitor.
    Don't forget to like, comment, share, and subscribe!
    Thank you to the crews!

    I personally would've used a demo bucket or brush grapple for this job but to each their own.

    Looks like a hot load dump right on the street. Hate it when people do that... Cleaning those up suck. Not to mention the truck was probably totalled. Good thing he could still dump it vs. burning up the truck.

      One Garbage truck can easily hold that much because the compactor crushes it and packs it tightly together.

    Why didn't they bring a roll-off truck & a roll-off dumpster with them?????🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨😕😕😕😕😕😕🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

    • @NorthOCRefuse2016
      @NorthOCRefuse2016 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Having a roll-off is time consuming, plus the burned material is blocking a city street, therefore the company needs to remove it as soon as possible as they can get fined for it. It does sound reasonable when you think it, but you have to keep in mind of your surroundings as well. It's more efficient with a front loader along with a dumpster or two.

    • @avontaprice6296
      @avontaprice6296 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NorthOCRefuse2016 um I still don't get it? Can you explain that a little bit more clearly please & thank you.

    • @NorthOCRefuse2016
      @NorthOCRefuse2016 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@avontaprice6296 Okay to simplify this. Since all the burned trash is sitting out on a street where cars are passing, the company has to get it rid of it because the city can charge them an ugly amount of money. Say over 10,000 dollars as an example. So naturally, they have to get the trash outta there fast. Therefore they use a front loader, as they are close to businesses like offices, stores, or restaurants. Being close to those means they can use the dumpsters nearby. A roll-off is not needed for this, since there’s a front loader and dumpsters ready to collect the trash on the street.

    • @josephbennett3482
      @josephbennett3482 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah a Roll-off would definitely have been faster or even a transfer stations tractor trailer with the help of a bulk waste grab arm wheel loader , they would have it cleared in like 10 minutes.
