- In this video I show a few of my Victorinox knives. I hope you enjoy my videos. I have a playlist of just knife videos so, please check that out and thanks for watching, subscribing, liking and sharing!
I got my first Victorinox Swiss Army knife when I was in my senior year in high school, in 1969. I've had one in my pocket ever since. For a while I was a knife nut, and some other knives came and went. Mostly went. After the knife nut bug faded out, the Victorinox was back in my pocket as my sole EDC pocket knife. There's a little classic on my keyring in a small leather pouch sheath I made for it. That way, it's not really attached to my keys and easier to use when it is pulled out of the sheath. In my pocket is one of my larger ones, an aloe cadet or my pioneer. I love the larger aloe handled ones, they are built so much more bomb proof. My kitchen is all Victorinox as well. Never leave home without my Swiss Army knife.
Thanks for sharing, I totally agree, never leave home without one!
Cool history lesson on the Victorinox!
That’s what I was going to say!!
Thanks!
I worked with an IT guy that used a multi-tool everyday and was hard on them. He went through a lot of Leatherman's and other name brand tools that broke and came across a Victorinox and paid the expensive price and never had a problem since. When I heard that I bought a used one on eBay 20 years ago for half the cost of new, I don't use it often, but you can see the build quality is good. Definitely is a sturdy little tool!
Yes, they are, thanks for watching!
When I was in the army I was part of Ranger school. We moved from Utah to New Mexico. Anyway in the dessert they had these little cactus and sand spurs. The cactus would go through your boots.
Anyway after the first week in the field. Everyone went to the PX and bought swiss Army knives because of the tweezer.
That was 1992 we had leathermans but they weren't very good at pulling small thorns.
Can't even begin to guess how many swiss army knives I've lost. Lol.
Every boy scout had the huntsman.
I stopped using swiss army knives because the steel is so soft and they seem to never be very sharp.
Interesting story, never had that experience, ouch! Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed the video It’s nice to hear from another Victorinox fan, who knows how to pronounce the name correctly.
Don’t know if you are aware the package hook comes with the scissors they always share a layer on 91mm knives.
You will find older models with no package hook because they were made before the tool existed. Thank again for
the video.
Thanks for that information and thanks so much for watching! Hope you have a great day!
