I want to share the many tools and equipment I have made and modified. Many items were inspired by other TH-camrs and include things used for camping, bushcrafting and survival, along with the workshop. I love to cook so you can expect to see many videos on that! Knives are tools and I plan many videos showing knives I have made and knives I own. I have some pretty cool antiques I want to share. Leatherwork, blacksmithing, crafts, gardening, cooking, woodworking, metalworking, gun smithing, motorcycle restoration, boat restoration, appliance repair, fishing and sewing is the short list. I have many interests so, hopefully, I will have a video on something you are interested in! Thanks to anyone watching and I appreciate you subscribing to my channel!

Wusthof 10” chefs knife (vintage?)
มุมมอง 22114 วันที่ผ่านมา
Here is a Wusthof 10” chef knife I cleaned up. Not sure of the age, maybe you can help me with that? Wusthof knives claim to be heat treated to 58 HRC. Not sure how long they’ve been doing that. They seem to be great kitchen knives and have been making them for more than 2 centuries! Thanks for watching!

I plan to do many more knife videos, thanks for the sub!
Looks pretty good, I know you enjoyed it very much. I generally only watch food related videos, so that is why I am looking into past videos. Nice!
Thanks for watching!
I got my first Victorinox Swiss Army knife when I was in my senior year in high school, in 1969. I've had one in my pocket ever since. For a while I was a knife nut, and some other knives came and went. Mostly went. After the knife nut bug faded out, the Victorinox was back in my pocket as my sole EDC pocket knife. There's a little classic on my keyring in a small leather pouch sheath I made for it. That way, it's not really attached to my keys and easier to use when it is pulled out of the sheath. In my pocket is one of my larger ones, an aloe cadet or my pioneer. I love the larger aloe handled ones, they are built so much more bomb proof. My kitchen is all Victorinox as well. Never leave home without my Swiss Army knife.
Thanks for sharing, I totally agree, never leave home without one!
Looks good. First time I have seen one add ingredients to the oil and not the food. I am not knocking it, just saying. Magnum griddle? Nice!
I have the same fixed blade. I am 76 years old, won it when I was in 4th grade selling flower and vegetable seeds. Don’t think they would give a knife as a prize in school and let you go home on the bus with it today
No, they would not. I was in a play, Oklahoma, in 6th grade. Took my BB rifle to school as a prop for the play. I did a video on that, my first BB gun, forgot to tell that story!
AUS6 are AUS8 steel if it's a kai Japan knife. Nice job on the handle.👍👍
Thanks for the info and for watching!
Huh. I have one of these, Although the sheath for mine is a rather low grade fake leather. It's a decent knife, Holds a good edge, But the handle is a little on the small side for me.
In 1971 Coleman Co. Inc. Acquired Crosman. This is when they moved to their current location in E. Bloomfield N. Y.🤔
In 1925 Frank Hahn purchased Crosman rifle Co. re-naming it Crosman Arms. His son, P. Y. Hahn, would direct Co. For the next 50 years. "Power without powder"
That bb repeater is "Super"! I have never owned one.........yet. Always looking👀, never finding. Never give up. Aim small, not high, and keep it in the bullseye!😜👉
I have a first year variant 1, but it is not as nice as yours.😜👉
New subscriber. Keep up the airgun content!😉👍
Definitely! Thanks for the history, watching and subbing!
Nice history on your first BB gun! A real Christmas story! Lol Like Lorie said, Love Ali!
Great modification!
Cool collection!
I love Victorinox! Thanks for showing some of yours! I subscribed to your channel too!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for this video 😊
My pleasure 😊 thank you for watching!
Very interesting. I guess advertising on knives pays being all those companies are still in business. 😊
Thanks, yes I was very surprised!
I have one of the older ones. with a broken rear site. just like my Marlin it fell over and the rear site broke off. but still a good shooter. and pretty quiet.
Yes they are pretty quiet and good shooters!
Great job
Thanks, appreciate it!
Love Ali!!
Very cool
Thanks
I’m a geek for tools!
Electricians knives are really dope! I’ve been carrying a cutco with my work EDC for over a year. Great knives!
Yes they are!
I been seeing you in my comments buddy, but I didn’t know you had a channel! You have a new subscriber brother!👊🏻
Thanks for the sub!
I belive the Q on the blade is for Queen knives
Thanks!
The coping saw so recognizable. What is the coping mean in this context, I never heard of a coping knife and always thought it was a proper name vs utility, if you know?
Coping saws make a “coped” joint, which is, a joint with intricate curves vs. just mitered. They call this a coping knife maybe just as a marketing ploy, to be different? It is very similar to other blade styles.
That knife has class and personality!
Do you put oil on the blades for long term storage?
Yep, mineral oil if it’s a knife that may be used with food.
Beautiful wood!
Thank you very much!
I'll be watching for the air rifle video's. I think the fob knives are pretty unique.
I never heard of advertising knives. Cool collection and history of an American tradition.
Love the old Western’s. Them old sheaths are tuff to repair once the Leather splits like that. The stitching and stitched leather area gives way. I have found on old sheaths like that to avoid oils. Just rub it out carefully with hard wax. Most hard wax has a slight amount of oil, just enough to help the wax apply
Good tip, thanks!
Love Imperial knives. Glad you’re able to gain back those memories. Cool Pic. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Sounds cool. Sure would like to learn how to make the string and see fun tools and toys. Thank you
Great idea, very practical
I have a marlin spike but I had forgotten about the fid.
Cool! Their handy!
Greetings ,cool ! I found a knife similar . In an elevator pit . New building after a redo on some floors ( prob from carpet layers ) hope it was not sentimental value to someone … when I was new to the trade I was asked to clean out a old turn of the old century 1900 department store ( different building) . Found lots of old coins 1800’s ( I was an apprentice elevator man n told to clean pits n paint that day … nobody told me that it was a dirt pit !!! I was digging my way to China… lo may be a foot ( but ground was hard) ( I heard a bout that for a long time ( but kept my mouth closed bout the money ( cause I wanted to go back))) . Never did .. because of circumstances.
Very cool, interesting story! Thanks for sharing that!
Hello, I was recently scrolling through Ebay looking at knife lots, found one of that same knife but without the serrations, thought back to this video and figured you might be interested in the bunch, as clicking on random links is never the best idea, I'll leave the name of the seller, Bay State Tackle, the listing is called "Lot of vintage Knives", not sure if it would be of any interest, but saying something seems better than not, going for $40 with $6.15 shipping at the moment.
Thanks very much, I’ll check it out! And thanks for watching!
Yes great video , I’m always looking for stuff like this .
Thanks for watching!
Good looking knife, I really dig the wood handles 👌
Thanks, and thanks for watching!
Interesting - Good video, I enjoyed watching it. Thank you. I have a Marlin Spike Knife that I bought several years ago. I think mine is a Camillus knife. 👍
You’re welcome and thank you for watching.
When I was in the army I was part of Ranger school. We moved from Utah to New Mexico. Anyway in the dessert they had these little cactus and sand spurs. The cactus would go through your boots. Anyway after the first week in the field. Everyone went to the PX and bought swiss Army knives because of the tweezer. That was 1992 we had leathermans but they weren't very good at pulling small thorns. Can't even begin to guess how many swiss army knives I've lost. Lol. Every boy scout had the huntsman. I stopped using swiss army knives because the steel is so soft and they seem to never be very sharp.
Interesting story, never had that experience, ouch! Thanks for watching!
I really dig the old kitchen knives, man oh man that's a really nice one you got there brother 👍 Really great job on the handles!! Oh yeah, just subscribed 👍
Thanks, I really appreciate it!
Man that's some good looking groceries brother for sure 👌 💯
Looks yummy!
Thank you 😋
Looks good. Does your griddle have a temperature setting?
It’s propane gas so it has a knob for flame height adjustment. I mostly use it on high but depends what I’m cooking. Thanks for watching!❤
That sheath is very cool. Like that folder/fixed blade combo. Good stuff. Love a kamp king. Be safe
Thanks, you too!
Nice stylish looking knife. Looks like its held up over the years.
Good looking purple heart handle. Hope someone can give you more info on the knife.
