Interesting thing you should look into, that guy who sat on the throne whist the emperor sorted out horus. He is called Malcador the Sigillite. He was the true power behind the emperor. He was also a crazy powerful phyker he had to be to sit on the throne. There was a story where he was talking to one of his staff i guess you could call her and she was asking about when he met the emperor and how it must have changed his life, his response tells us a lot. "You are under a false pretence, the emperor was not the emperor before he met me". One of the theories is that the emperor whist powerful was just another warlord ( a perpetual but still just another warlord), he met Malcador and with the rest of the perpetuals visited Moloch this is where he got so OP as he basicly tricked the chaos gods, into giving him all that power. The rest of the perpetuals where like " you are mental mate" and f**ked him off so he made his " sons " to replace them. This is also why on returning to Moloch later he wiped the memory of all his sons so they did not know where it was, he was afaid that they would seek the same power , and in the end Horus did .
Highly doubt he forgot anything, that's not really a massive detail that needed to be stated. The Necrontyr found the C'tan, the C'tan said they'd make them immortal, ate their souls turning them into machine slaves and killed the Old Ones with them. It's very blatant a ton of microshit went on during all that, but the basic story about what happened is still there in Bricky's video.

Titanicus is also good, its mainly mechanicus but theres a few different storylines going on. Theres a few chaos spacemarine novels which are cool cuz u get to see everything from their perspective. The one about the iron warriors was cool, i specifically remember 1 scene where a slave was cleaning a chaos space marines armor. It was whispering to her (cuz the armor is also a demon) and she put it on,then proceeds to kill the original owner and basically takes his place.
btw the scattering of the primarchs as children wasnt the reason for the two primarchs being completely deleted from history. It is strongly hinted in some stories that they actually where present after the emperor returned his sons to terra. There was a conversation between rogal dorn and guilliman, i believe it was, where dorn mentioned missing one (or both?) of them and malcador shut him down warning him not to talk about them ever again. Leman Russ was mentioned to be created to kill other primarchs as a contingency and didnt even flinch when getting orders against magnus (he haited his ass anyways) but it always seemed as if it wasnt his first primarch-killing-rodeo. There is also the thing with the ultramarines and Imperial fists back before the horus heresy SUDDENLY expanding to almost twice their size, with hints since then strewn into the story that there might be a second, different geneseed in their legions/successor chapter. Take the souldrinkers, a imperial fist successor turned renegade and then loyalist again who dont actually have rogal dorns geneseed which was specifically pointed out by an apothecary checking their geneseed for corruption. There was none, but there also wasnt a hint of Dorn in there. And take examples from the Ultra-Marines like Uriel Ventris or Demetrian Titus (from the space marine games) who are so different from the typical ultramarine by constantly bending rules and laws of the imperium or the codex astartes as a means to their ends. They obviously do well but they are nothing alike their brethren. Wouldn't be too farfetched to think of them being of a different genestock. All of this is to say: the second and eleventh werent lost in infancy. The were purged from history, never to be spoken about again, at a later point in time AFTER being reunited with the emperor and the other primarchs but BEFORE the Horus Heresy. And who knows? One or both of them might even be alive deep within the vaults of terra guarded by the custodes to only be released after attoning for their crimes?
Sorta yeah, we KNOW that the two missing primarches were involved in the great crusade- specifically the first two of the Rangdan Xenocides- but did NOT take part in the third. Rather, they WERE expunged from history, but not at first. Likewise, it was not a flaw with the legions' geneseed as with the Blood Angels' Red Thirst or the Thousand Sons' Flesh Change, but a flaw with the primarchs themselves.
@johnj.spurgin7037 according to a conversation with bloody primarch man, he worried that his genes may cause his sons to also follow these 2 lost primarchs. That's to say, these two primarchs may have had an issue involving their genetics, but not necessarily one that down through the geneseed.
One thing that he should have mentioned is that back then the ork were called krork and they were much much larger iirc something like 15 meters tall and also way more intelligent. The eldar culled them, turning them into the orks we know today. Vulcan actually fought a demi-krork that was 12m tall so not even a full krork and he couldn't directly beat it and iirc ended up blowing himself and it up to kill it. Goes to show the scale of the war in heaven where all of the krork were stronger. Just imagine millions of stronger than primarch warriors and they still lost to the eldar which in turn lost to the necrons eventhough back then they were allied with the krork and the old ones.
Which is why I STRONGLY believe that the Eldar did metaphysical shenanigans to split the ork god into Gork and Mork, two sides of the same coin that feud eternally, to keep the orks from becoming krorks again. Alas, it's just a theory, but it makes sense.

Bricky is easily the most entertaining warhammer lore youtuber. But if you ever want to go more in depth (but is a lot more serious and massive lore dumps) then Luetin is the best option. He's easily the most accurate warhammer lore youtuber, who spends a considerable amount of time researching for video creation to make them more unique (many lore youtubers just copy/paste wikia content) Dude also made a new beginner lore vid that's 2 hours long, and is more accurate than Bricky's stuff (but not as fun)
Thunder warriors were bigger and technically "stronger" then Astartes but still not as skilled or intelligent, they also only lived the same length of a normal human. Primaris marines ( the new Space Marines ) who are bigger then Astartes. Most likely have the same strength without the downfalls of the Thunder warriors
I always like to recomend weshammers (or luetin as he has a video about that too) video about wh40k most powerful weapons. Gives a good insight into what the species were once capable at their peak.
I recommend you watch Luetin09s Imperium of man Videos as they are some of the best most complete timeline and explanation videos for humanity and its history. They also give some good insight and knowledge on the Emperor and his mindset. They are long videos however so keep that in mind. But Luetin09 is “The” 40K lore Channel he has a lot of knowledge about the 40K universe. He even has some niche and fun videos like “worst jobs in the Imperium” and “Most powerful weapons in 40k” which are pretty cool and fun.
