I still own the old Nitecore SRT7 Revenger from well over 10 years ago. It is covered with battle scars but has been my most reliable light over the years. It has NEVER failed me and has served me well over the years as a correctional officer. However, I sure do love what it has evolved into. Great review as always.
I got this light on release and I have been carrying and using it everyday and I can say that this is by far my favorite light. I own high end surefires and streamlights I own other high output Nitecores as well as Olights and the SRT7i is still the light the I always grab first and carry everyday. It is an amazing light and its features cant be beat. I dont think I am going to replace this one for awhile.
Man, you guys are just hammering the flashlight world. I really like your dedication to reliability, and toughness. I still to this day use an of Nitecore headlamp every single night... I suspect it's over 10 years old at this point, and it just keeps going. I would love to have this light I would pair it with my headlamp on my varmint rifle, that I use to control pests in my orchards and around my farm on a daily basis. That's one impressive light.
Very detailed video explaining the features of the srt7i. This will come definitely come in handy as a volunteer for night walks and definitely on camping trips as well. Considering it's adjustable turning knob, it will be great at controlling the intensity of light with a quick turn when looking at nearby and far distances with ease.
The SRT 7i would be a perfect addition to my gear as a military firefighter: infinite adjustment enabling me to have the right light when searching for equipment on my fire truck vs looking for landmarks and street signs while navigating to a fire. The strike bezel would be helpful for gaining access to patients in a vehicle. Having the extended longevity of the 21700 battery minimizes the risk of running out of light during extended call outs. Finally, the orange cone accessory would be great for directing traffic at roadside incidents.
Nitecore SRT7i tactical flashlight is a versatile tool for night production shoots. It offers adjustable brightness levels, its durability, long battery life, and quick operation make it ideal for challenging environments. Additionally, it may include mounting options for hands-free use, making it an essential accessory to be included on my EDC list. I’ll be able to find my equipments in the dark and long throw beam option if I needed to get my crews attention.
I have owned and used the SRT7 for about 8 years now and love it. I have taken it to Peru in the Amazon Jungle, twice, as well as a TM, but that’s a different story. I love the features and the ring of the SRT7. At first I thought the RGB features where a gimmick, however, I have found myself using them a bit especially the Red in the Amazon jungle at night as well as other places. I just got the SRT7i and, Wow, what a performance upgrade. It’s amazing, however, no RGB features no more. I find the ring features are better on the original SRT7 but the performance is better on the SRT7i obviously. Now just put the ring features of the original SRT7 on the SRT7i and you got yourself a real winner! Sad they didn’t do it already. Maybe that’s the next model so you’ll buy another one. 🤷🏼♂️

Fenix and Acebeam managed to add a solid metal ring around their charging port and nitecore has to "reserve" it for "high end" models? Yeah, talking about being backwards.
Nitecore had metal rings on their older i4000r as well to cover the charging port. But those ended up grinding itself out once dirt and sand got in. Not the most effective design
