    I still own the old Nitecore SRT7 Revenger from well over 10 years ago. It is covered with battle scars but has been my most reliable light over the years. It has NEVER failed me and has served me well over the years as a correctional officer. However, I sure do love what it has evolved into. Great review as always.

    I got this light on release and I have been carrying and using it everyday and I can say that this is by far my favorite light. I own high end surefires and streamlights I own other high output Nitecores as well as Olights and the SRT7i is still the light the I always grab first and carry everyday. It is an amazing light and its features cant be beat. I dont think I am going to replace this one for awhile.

    Man, you guys are just hammering the flashlight world. I really like your dedication to reliability, and toughness. I still to this day use an of Nitecore headlamp every single night... I suspect it's over 10 years old at this point, and it just keeps going. I would love to have this light I would pair it with my headlamp on my varmint rifle, that I use to control pests in my orchards and around my farm on a daily basis. That's one impressive light.

    Nitecore SRT7i tactical flashlight is a versatile tool for night production shoots. It offers adjustable brightness levels, its durability, long battery life, and quick operation make it ideal for challenging environments. Additionally, it may include mounting options for hands-free use, making it an essential accessory to be included on my EDC list. I’ll be able to find my equipments in the dark and long throw beam option if I needed to get my crews attention.

    Very detailed video explaining the features of the srt7i. This will come definitely come in handy as a volunteer for night walks and definitely on camping trips as well. Considering it's adjustable turning knob, it will be great at controlling the intensity of light with a quick turn when looking at nearby and far distances with ease.

    Fenix and Acebeam managed to add a solid metal ring around their charging port and nitecore has to "reserve" it for "high end" models? Yeah, talking about being backwards.

    • @NitecoreSG
      @NitecoreSG  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      Nitecore had metal rings on their older i4000r as well to cover the charging port. But those ended up grinding itself out once dirt and sand got in. Not the most effective design

      @@NitecoreSG The SRT7i delivered last week. It is a beaut - I am a fan of stepless brightness selection ;-)
      (PS: I also have the SRT6 "Night Officer" from 9 years ago; in perfect working order after all these years, and has never failed, despite some serious African outdoor punishment: RELIABLE & TOUGH personified. . Build like a Black Rhino, these NiteCore flashlights. This past experience has convinced me more than anything to acquire the latest SRT7i iteration of stepless adjustment)

    Outstanding video, the SRT7i looks to be a feature rich and effective light. I’m in the LEO business and this light would make a great duty light. Hope to get my hands on one and put it to use in the dark of the night!

    The SRT 7i would be a perfect addition to my gear as a military firefighter: infinite adjustment enabling me to have the right light when searching for equipment on my fire truck vs looking for landmarks and street signs while navigating to a fire. The strike bezel would be helpful for gaining access to patients in a vehicle. Having the extended longevity of the 21700 battery minimizes the risk of running out of light during extended call outs. Finally, the orange cone accessory would be great for directing traffic at roadside incidents.

    I have owned and used the SRT7 for about 8 years now and love it. I have taken it to Peru in the Amazon Jungle, twice, as well as a TM, but that’s a different story. I love the features and the ring of the SRT7. At first I thought the RGB features where a gimmick, however, I have found myself using them a bit especially the Red in the Amazon jungle at night as well as other places. I just got the SRT7i and, Wow, what a performance upgrade. It’s amazing, however, no RGB features no more. I find the ring features are better on the original SRT7 but the performance is better on the SRT7i obviously. Now just put the ring features of the original SRT7 on the SRT7i and you got yourself a real winner! Sad they didn’t do it already. Maybe that’s the next model so you’ll buy another one. 🤷🏼‍♂️

      @@lioncross1849I had and still have the TM26 Quadray. At the time it was awesome and got a lot of comments form the tour group as we where on a boat roaming around the Amazon river and jungle at night. It lit up a huge amount of area. It was best on the boat as the density of the jungle pretty thick but overall an amazing flashlight. Looking at another but not sure what to get. TM9K,
      TM12K but leaning towards TM20k but not sure. Any recommendations?

    Is there a pressure switch option for this light? If so it’s not listed on nitecores website. If you know of a good way or part to mount their pressure pads on a rail that would be great too. Currently no offerings or good videos covering switches. I wish nitecore sold a switch holder or velcro strips or something with their switches. Lights are great, functions are great, flashlight mounts are great, pressure pad mounting options are how and with what without damaging the cables with use… This is the best nitecore channel and my go to. Thanks

    Couldnt stop relating to aircraft wac whenever you said walkaround.
    Diff between the temporary Turbo & Strobe?
    Perfect for those split moments shining those high big tails especially the dugong A380.
    And to signal those cranky pilots in their cockpit. when they not responding😂
    Burning pouches? All the time. Rubber caps crumbling and falls in contact with aircraft hydraulic fluids..
    Fire hazard & FOD… yeah totally not welcomed in aviation.
    Honestly just perfect after multiple guys having the P20 and we needed a static light pointing up for maintenance.
    Filter cone for marshalling in aircraft sometimes :o
    I don’t know what else is there to say man aha. I’ve a nicecore compatible belt clip but yet to have the torch :’)

    I really can’t decide between the SRT7i and the P23i. The srt7i has the features and p23i has the better spill. Especially at lower lumens, does the srt7i have a good usable spill? I know it has good spill at high brightness but I decreases at lower outputs. I don’t like how p23i gets super hot very quickly.

      Generally self-defense wise, even 1,000 lumens on Strobe (quick flashing) mode is adequate for disorienting your attacker. A lower profile light like the new MH12 PRO will be more discreet to carry and easy to draw in the event of a imminent attack - Kai

      Both are quite old models, have you tried asking your retailer? If not you can also try 3rd part usb -c plugs to cover it up

    Im in desperate need of a handheld that can punch through photonic barriers.
    Thanks to just working like a hog for years i got promoted. With that promotion comes new responsibilities that i cant get into. NDA. But i need a smaller hand held that can really punch through other lights, and pay increase doesnt cover the massive amount of initial $$ i have to drop.
    Even if i dont win if you can point me in the right direction sofar im at the modlite okw but its $300+

      @@vic06 the only thing is it runs on 18650 batteries, vs the 21700 batteries of the SRT7i (longer runtime). It's a flood beam as well, different from the spot beam of your first gen SRT7. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like it compares to a P23i spec wise.

    The Surefire U2 had the brightness ring in the year 2006. Years of research and development...?

    • @NitecoreSG
      @NitecoreSG  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Years of research for Nitecore, not any other brand. Besides the U2 had 6? Brightness steps. Their ring just toggled between the steps. The earliest ring Nitecore had was in 2014? With the srt3, there were no brightness steps, it was a true stepless ring.
