Behringer PLEASE add fader automation! I use my Wing in the studio and id love to be able to mix outside of the DAW and only use the Wing for mixing and automation instead of having to do the automation in the DAW.
If you choose USB as your routing option your gain will be controlled by the DAW and you wont have any fader for gain in mixer only trim which can help you with volume. My Wing Compact is coming in 2 days and I'm excited to connect it to my X32.😃
I recently acquired my Wing Compact on November 22nd. It is an upgrade from my previous Tascam Model 24, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. However, I acknowledge that it presents a significant learning curve due to its extensive features. Nonetheless, I am thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Glad you enjoy the product @BritoWorx. Stay tuned because we are working on many many more videos like this one to get everyone started and also pro's more skilled
I also am coming from a tascam 12 and 24 and 16 and I thought those were great but the wing is like switching from a flip phone to smartphone I'm not trying to ask what it can do I'm trying to ask what I can't do cuz I can't find much
Please unlock the sample rate of the Wing Series to at least 96K. If this could jump from 44.1K to 48K to 96K, Studios would buy this thing like hotcakes. Churches are all over this but, for real studio work, your gonna have to get to 96K now and then.
My question is how would I record and get my musicians and singers to hear it. What is that side of the process with wing and daw. I currently use DP48’s, but am open to whatever I need to do. How would you execute a punch in with this method? I normally stack my vocals and do multiple punch ins during recording. Any chance you can do a video explaining this process?
Are the meters reacting to the daw audio or routed audio to the console? I want to see meter data without actually using the console to route audio. Is this possible? Also will they consider a 96k version of this console so we can actually use it for recording?
did they fix it to were to where the usb or interface taps a channel post fader that was my only complaint with the X32 not easily being able to use the plugins in the mixer when recording to my daw.
Hey @jay_palacios2314 very sorry to hear you're having trouble with the display, but we can definitely help you. Please open a support ticket at: community.musictribe.com/care-portal/customer-support I already let the team know that you will be reaching out over there.
I mean, it's not a new synthesizer or pedal, but hey, I bet there's some folks that gey excited about mixers. Is that what this is? I guess Uli and the boys put a lot of work into this as well. Good job gentlemen!

V2!
@@DMSProduktions sorry, what does that mean?
@@BobK115 You don't know what V2 means? Way to not read in context!
@@DMSProduktionsI'm sorry... do you mean there will be another firmware update with this option?
@@BobK115 THAT is my guess!
Well it will NEED a hardware upgrade if you want fader automation as they require motors!
I use this in studio use and it’s awesome. It was the same or slightly better than my old Apollo uad 8p as far as conversion goes
I noticed the same thing! I did an AB comparison and the Wing blew my Apollo away. The mixed seemed more full and wider. It's a great studio mixer.

Great video. learnt a lot. one must have some basic knowledge of wing to understand what was shared.

So is that something the hardware would be able to handle?
More Wing studio based content is great.
Is this a re-upload?

An update for a quiter fan would be nice.

The DAW layer setup at the end will show the channel levels in the DAW.
Thanks for the video! Please please please make a Wing Core (1 RU, minimal or no analog IO). I will buy two immediately!
Wing Dante version software controller only ?

@behringer can you reliably use external mic pres which come into the mixer at line level???
sound quality check would be so great
is it a midi thing or some circuit boards are involve?
We are waiting for BCR32 :)
Pregunta, al instalar el WSG Card interno en la Wing Rack, se puede seguir usando un puerto Ethernet para control a travez del Software de control?
Si, yes you can.
Gracias, ahora solo espero que Sweetwater reciba pronto para que envíen la mía que tengo en cola.
@behringer please help with an LCD on my version 1 wing please 🙏🏾. I’m using a mouse in the us b port to bypass the out of control screen

Spaceships look less complicated :)
The UI is actually beautiful and really easy to use much easier to use than the next 32 or any other digital concleniv used before
Meanwhile over at Mackie it's the year 2003.
I was just starting to figure this thing out.. now I am really confused.

'Studio' is not a verb.

I want to buy me one, please send me your discount employee number , I will use it at B&H
But why you do that? In Cubase you can work directly thru bus groups. Maybe a mastering compressor.. 🫣
