Threre are several different Versions of the Brooklyn II Module. There is the BNII-01-064 wich supports 64 channels (that's the Wing-Dante's module), the BNII-01-32 (the X-Dante's original 32x32 module) and also a 016 and 008 version. A friend put a BNII-01-008 in his Wing and it works, allthough it supports only 8 channels :D So you have to watch out when buying Brooklyn modules. Of course there's also Brooklyn 3 (the module they use in most modern revisions of the Dante cards), but I don't know if there are any channel restrictions or not.
@@ActionCamPOV It will. But you might need to flash the Behringer Brooklyn firmware from their homepage while the module is in your Si. It might not work flashing it in the Wing, because the Wing's integrated network switch isn't configured for that (which it will be with the Behringer Dante firmware, tha's the whole reason for that).
About Adat connections..... with Midas Dl32 or dl16 stage box (same wtih Behringer s32 and s16) , you get 2 adat outputs. So with a fairly cheap Behringer Ada8200 you get extra 8 outputs (16 outputs with 2 units).
Important: With the Dante modules Brooklyn II or Brooklyn III. There are 2 versions of the firmware for EACH chip type and you MUST flash the correct one (internal or external) for the chip type you own and where you instal it. This allows the networking ports on the rear of the mixer (or expansion card) to work as they should. You also MUST register the internal module to the Rack. That process is actually just enabling the internal slot for use with either the Dante card OR the upcoming WSG card. Done by holding the utility button while powering the Rack on and typing MOD-DANTE at the prompt. There are currently 6 possible firmware files from which to choose, 2 of which Behringer does not list. The LATEST Brooklyn III files are ONLY available via Audinate within Dante Controller itself (4.2.7.7) The two Brooklyn III version files that Behringer lists (4.2.4.8) are outdated and could cause problems. IF you are lucky enough to have a Brooklyn II card there are but 2 choices (4.2.3.13) (internal or external) and those versions are still the same as they were 2 years ago. The version Behringer calls AoIP is for internal use. SO if Brooklyn II, AoIP version 4.2.3.13 is what you want for INTERNAL placement. IF Brooklyn III, AOIP version 4.2.7.7 is what you want for INTERNAL use.
Hey everyone, going for the mid-afternoon premiere again today. It seemed to be a better time for everyone last week, so thanks for coming to hang again.
Amazing video! Just a quick question on AUX channels. In my knowledge the X/M32 AUXs ch7&8 was stuck with the USB ins L/R. Are the routing for AUX channels for wing fully customizable?
Thanks those info! I know you answered questions about the headphones port at the back. But can the headphone port at the front be changed of busses/aux? Thanks in advance
i dont see a link for the internal dante module, should i get a dante expansion card and remove the module (daughter board) and install that inside the wing rack?
Hi, thank you for the video,. I was wondering, can you have mono busses for more than 5 iem? say if the first 3 were stereo, and then 2 were mono (plugged in via the xlr outputs), this could work?
I already got mine in Germany (Grüße aus Niedersachsen), but I kindly asked if I could have mine a bit faster. I also ordered it like 3 hours after the listing.
@@Joel-Monterra I only ordered last week, so I'm likely pretty far down the waiting list, but Thomann is usually pretty speedy, if they can get it faster.
Hello, i am seriously looking at this mixing rack. Do you know if we can control the faders with a little midi control like korg nano or akai apc mini with a usb/midi câble ? Thank you
Hi! Please give me the factory firmware for the Wing Rack. Version 2.x. Is needed to update the external Dante card. On 3.x, it does not work in the Dante controller. You can download it by USB cable.

Thanks for adding this extra info, I've pinned it to the top of the comments so others will see it hopefully.
Can't wait to see if my BNII-01-064 from my SI impact will work

Yeah I just installed a Brooklyn three in a wing rack and it's not showing up
Don't know if there's anything else I need to flash
@@Reedith Did you flash the Brooklyn3 version of the Behringer Dante firmware? Did you register the card in your Wing?

You can patch any available input source on AUX channels (mono or stereo)
I’ll definitely send people to this Video !
Thank you as always bro!
AVB would be super useful.

Headphone port at the front is for monitoring, you can set its source to main (1-4), bus (1-16), matrix (1-8) or aux (1-8)

Thomann in Germany state 7-9 weeks for delivery. Same for the Dante expanion card. Guess, I'll just have to be patient and wait for them to ship.

MIDI DAW surface support would be epic. Something like the iCON Platform M+. Let's hope.
