  • The great big messy sketchbook! Not every page is aesthetically pleasing, and that's ok, because it's a working sketchbook ☆ I used this as an extension of my brain, for working out ideas, trying out compositions, sticking in pictures, and remembering notes and concepts to come back to later.
Also, pls excuse the sound quality changing a couple times throughout. Many technical difficulties were had! This is what i get for filming a 40 minute vid on my 6 year old iphone -_-
    MATERIALS USED:
    Leuchtturm 1917 plain paper notebook
    Lamy Safari M fountain pen
    Copic markers
    Muji gel pens
    Winsor Newton fineliners
& many more things (ask if you would like to know what's been used on a specific page!)

Nachtfalter actually means Nightfolder (folder in the Meaning of someone who folds not a binder or so) but we actually have a lot of words whose components directly translate to the multiple components of the thing they’re describing 😅. Staubsauger = Dust sucker, Taschentuch= bag towel, Rindfleischverpackungsetiquettierungsgesetz= …. etc… (Vacuum cleaner, tissue, a law that only Applies to making the tags on packed beef😂)

Hi, this seems like it's going to be such a great tour but the music is very distracting for me. The music is fun, fast, and kind of loud while your voice is soothing and softer. Maybe it's because I'm ADHD, but I had to turn the sound down because of the music and now I can't hear you. I'm going to turn on closed captioning to finish the video but I wanted you to know. Lots of TH-camrs are moving away from having music playing in the background when they're talking because it's distracting for so many people, even when the music is great, but if you don't like that idea, can you have it softer than your voice?

same happens to me but sometimes I turn on the captions and it helps exponentially

Hi, thanks for the feedback! I totally get what you’re saying. I’m still pretty new to editing videos and still trying to find a style that works for me. I will take this on board 💛

I agree! I also have ADHD and the music volume is distracting during the talking sections. Still definitely worth it,, amazing video thank you

I'm deaf and AuDHD so it can be a nightmare haha. I personally don't think music and voice overs at the same time add anything for anyone. From a marketing view it creates the emotions needed so it makes sense as music creates emotions but I am not sure who benefits or what it adds to the experience in terms of veiwing work. Good luck finding your video style!
Love your sketchbook. The pen test for blank page issues is such a good idea. ❤

@@lunarose9042 For me the reason I use music is to drown out background noises, for example in this one my husband was in the next room on a work call. I also like to drown out little voice/mouth sounds like breathing and sniffs, which get picked up on my mic really easily, bc I think they sound a bit awkward haha. Like I said tho I can totally understand how this can cause issues for people, I’ll try and think of ways to eliminate background sounds or use the mic differently! I definitely don’t want people to feel that my videos aren’t accessible for them 💛
