    hello~✸
    I finally filmed a comprehensive guide to designing and manufacturing! I had this product idea of making a plushie jewelry organizer for a while now and wanted to show the entire process from start to finish. I've been asked so many times of how I find manufacturers as well as some tips, I tried my very best to include as much of my knowledge in this video. If you have any more questions about manufacturing please leave it below!

    Best manufacturing advice is always be persistent and be direct - it will yield the best results! if a factory does not want to help you there are always more! Never let a factory stop you from producing your product, you just gotta find the right fit! (from someone who deals with this daily haha) Such an incredibly informative, grounded and realistic video!!!

    I've already gotten my own plushies made, but this is such a good guide! :) It's SO important to pick the right manufacturer and really research them. Mine gave me a great sample & then really messed me around with the final product. I don't know anyone who has used them before, so I probably should have avoided them. Overall I LOVE how they came out, but the whole process was almost a YEAR. I'm kinda jealous that you got them made so quick!

    • @apple.cheeks
      @apple.cheeks  หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      oh no! yeah I think it's so important to follow up and ask them for update photos even while they're working on the bulk of it to make sure things are going well. I think some projects take me a lot longer, some are faster too, really depends on the manus experience :)

    Can you do a more in depth video or short on Trademarks and copyrights... like if you come out with a new design that's yours do you register each item separately or is it like bc it's under your brand it's covered?

    If I were designing a plush jewelry box... there would be little pockets with zippers and a tiny clear plastic label spot to slide some kind of ref picture for the spot... some plush flowers for icing double as little pockets of precious things! I design purses, jewelry, and lamps... I used to sell to individuals, but I became disabled, and now I do prototypes only... usually for loved ones cause I don't have enough energy for it all... I really enjoy your channel, because you are smart... I'll pray for you!😊

      I think sometimes when manufacturers say they can offer a MOQ as low as 100 pcs or something, they actually tell the manufacturer to make like 500+ pcs and end up selling the rest off as bulk for other people to sell them. So definitely be clear that these designs are not to be resold or copied!

    I think freight is pronounced more like “frayt” rather than sounding closer to fright. 🤔 Or maybe I’ve been pronouncing it wrong this whole time? Either way, this video was amazingly helpful! ❤️ That one word just caught my ear. One good thing to know about the mold for part is the mold life cycle. It will tell you how many pieces you will be able to get from the mold before the mold no longer produces the high quality it did when the mold was new. The manufacturer can use various types of metals for molds to either reduce cost or improve part quality.
