I've been through snow deeper than that in mine - you have to keep your foot down, don't feather it. Snow came billowing over the roof.

Sucks I don't get a chance to play on the snow here. But atbyhe same time I'm glad I don't have to deal with all the negative road conditions.
You really don't want snow when waking up in morning , it's more pain than fun..

Hey, thanks so much for the support and following along! You're right! Those are the stock STI sport limited wheels that come with the 11-14 STI's! I had them on my previous 2013 STI and was able to keep them after I had a car crash that totaled that car unfortunately. (The summer wheels were on the car at the time of the crash so they took those.) I kept the Enkei's and use them for winter!!
Too much snow there. We get a few storms but not crazy here in Boston MA my sti survived but not my Front Lip got ripped off again and lost in the snow lol.

Try using a clay bar when the weather gets better. Used it on my Subaru and made the paint look extra nice.
IJ I used a clay bar kit two weeks ago and didn’t notice any bad affects. Got a lot of filth off the car which showed up on the clay bar. Looked really good once finished, waxed afterwards.
Can you tell which exact set of tires you have? 215/50/R18?
What tires do you use?I live in Calgary Alberta and with the chinooks it can swing 40° in on day (-20 to +20)...I find buying dedicated tires like the Nokian hakkapeliitta’s is a waste but the Nokian WRG-4 all weather tires are amazing for my subie...
I am currently running Gislaved Nordfrost 200 studded tires, I previously had Hakka 2's non-studded
Winter in SoCal means maybe four days of driving through rain this winter so far. ☹

Could bags help with the ride height? I don't know much about them, but would they be able to get the car high enough depending on how they're calibrated?
I dunno if they'd be okay in the very very cold weather is the only problem, I've heard of people having them fail/ air out while driving due to cold
