Big job. One of the less glamorous things to update and fix but for full days on the water or overnights it’s kinda important. Hard work. Well done.
Thanks.. the install should be a wee bit easier!
Thanks for posting. I have the same great boat and will be removing the head tomorrow. Replacing with a port a pottie andvremoved the waste tank.
Noooo! The Raritan is the way to go!
WOWZERS! I had this on my list of upgrades, but yikes, looks like a lot of work. Can't wait for part 2. BTW, I'll be someone would want that waste cap! I couldn't find one when I looked...
I like your style, 40 years of contracting, on the plus side, first thing I do is remove anything in the way of progress, like that door.
Thanks… not enough room in there to swing a cat. Gave thought to replacing it with a screen door….
I’ve already made the mistakes for your convenience! If you have a Fiesta Vee, just use a hole saw to cut an access under the toilet. I should have the installation video up in a few days.. supposed to rain and I don’t have a garage yet.
Incidentally, I found the new waste cap at West Marine for about $60 bucks. Solid stainless and came with a metal key as well…
Thanks for watching!
Not a fun job! Good luck!
Thanks… the new one will be a huge improvement…
You probably have a travertine floor in the Regal!
You made too much work for yourself. I just removed mibe in 10 minutes using a Dremel tool to cut the base around the screws.
You’re probably right! I used the base to put the new toilet on so I wanted to save as much as possible for structural integrity.
