    Hi, have you ever had a problem were the bowl won’t fill with water or empty of course. The valve is good but wondered about the solenoid on it if that could be the culprit?
    Any help would be e greatly appreciated. Thanks

      Andy, Check out Jason Rapisarda's Vacu-Flush (AquaStar Distributors) video, by far it's the best one I have seen on operation, maintenance and care. th-cam.com/video/O_dvkRhkGyM/w-d-xo.html

    I'd like to know more about the black tubing part you showed and particularly the small white vent looking thing, its purpose, the fail rate, and symptoms of it when it's not functioning properly. Thanks

    • @thecasualrver
      @thecasualrver  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It called a Duckbill, basically it's a one way valve, will let liquid waste out but not back flow back, as well as any smell. The Duckbill is made from rubber. The fail rate is extremely low.

      @thecasualrver the small white part atop the black tubing looks like anti siphon valve. I understand the assembly must be replaced if it fails. I'm getting odor through mine as I think it's stuck open.

    • @thecasualrver
      @thecasualrver  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@phillipc4865, If the duckbill/anti siphon valve has failed, the toilet will not hold water, if the toilet is holding water, odors can't get passed the water, if that makes and sense. If you are having odor you should check the black and gray tank vents, as well as the black tank flush anti backflow valve.

    great video! I'm trying to replace my macerator due to the shaft seal leaking. I can't get the new macerator sealed up to the rubber gasket like piece that mates to the 90 degree chute under the bowl. I've tightened down the hose clamps but it still leaks. Is there something I can use to seal this better? How tight should should the hose clamps be?
    Thanks

      @thecasualrver  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Ben, The large hose clamp only needs to be sung. Don't over tighten the clamp, it can distort the pump housing. Before replacing any parts I recommend pulling the system apart again, cleaning the 90 degree chute inside flange and were they mate.

    Is it alright to use regular toilet paper in our 7640 Master Flush toilet? We have heard it would be ok but want to make sure before we start. Thanks

      I would recommend using rapid dissolving 2 ply, septic safe TP, the main reason is they don't use a glue to bound the 2 sheets together.

    Great overview. My 7600 toilet works ok. Except it won’t hold water in the bowl. It keeps draining. With no seals that seems strange. Any ideas how to fix?

    • @thecasualrver
      @thecasualrver  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Wayne, that does seem very strange, correct there are no seals, i.e. (ball valve seals). The system does have a black rubber elbow from check valve in back of toilet in the 1 .5 in . ID flexible sanitation hose, i.e. Duckbill valve, but it's purpose is to keep waste from coming back into the toilet, the flexible sanitation hose also has a P-trap. Unless there is a loose hose connection, but if that was the case you more than likely have water on the floor. What is the make, model and year of your motorhome?

      @@justskoot7176 Sort of fixed itself. Seems to be holding water again and luckily it started doing so just as I was preparing to open things up. Sorry I cannot be of more assistance.

    I got a fleetwood bounder 2021 with that kind of toilet, it work very well but my black tank of 42 galls get full very fast, around 2 days only, with 2 persons.
    What can be the problem?

    • @thecasualrver
      @thecasualrver  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don't know what model of Bounder you have, if you have 2 macerator toilets, I would program one of them for the dry bowl flush. That will reduce the volume of water going into the black tank.
