My diff blew up and caught fire - 2004 WRX Wagon

While my son has been enjoying the art of fixing up cars, flipping them into better cars that need repair, he's been using my Subaru quite a bit.
I have two cars, and stuff like this is part of how I explained to my wife the "need" for my Notchback.
The need to be able to loan my Subaru to the kids has really come true!
One night while Logan drove back to school, it seems the lack of proper care of the differential caught up to us.
"Tune in" and see what ensued.

@@vdubjunkie Everything happens for a reason. Usually they are a learning experience. In my case "I learn not to do that again cause it hurts, or darn, that's going to be expensive to fix!"
