    Awesome video thanks mate I thought I had all the bolts out and the prick still wouldn't come off 🤬😭
    didn't know about the Allen key plug thing so thanks for a great video 👍

      yeah the only reason i know about it is because i checked out a couple forums first before going with the endeavour, otherwise there mght have been a bit more swearing in the video trying to get it out ahaha

    Just for your information incase you do this again.
    You don't need to take the lower ball joint out. Or even take off front wheels.
    The inner cv has enough slide room to be removed from the stub without touching the outer cv or hub.
    Also the battery clamp bolt I normally used to get the clutch pin out.

      i hope tf not to have to do this again ahaha, or atleast until the clutch goes on it.

      @@sebsshenanigans I'm not sure exactly what happened, completely lost power going up a hill so it may be time to replace the transmission
      Hence the need in finding this video

    Bro I saw you do this so i figured why not, lets try it 😂 only difference is my GD wagon has rust. Lmfao. Took me 2 days by myself and im still not quite finished. So proud of myself rn though! Blew up 1st gear in my trans & the center diff. Appreciate the videos, they were all pretty helpful. You made lining up the trans look way too easy in your other video, that took me a little over an hr 😂

      But my new trans is in, just reassemble at this point. I replaced all shifter bushings and linkages and what not

      if its not broke, leave it, if its a tow truck waiting to happen. probably best to do it sooner rather than later

    Hey just wondering where you hooked your ratchet strap for the engine to tilt it back? Im dropping my transmission right now but dont have a second jack to tilt the engine

      @@TKDPandaa I found where he hooked the straps to (metal loop to the top right of the alternator). Got the transmission out shortly after but was scammed on a sti 6 speed transmission that seems to be missing gears. Car to this day sits on jacks waiting for me to have the money to rebuild the transmission :(

      Yeah look, this was a full day work to get this thing out ahaha, started around 8:30am and finished it around 7pm 😂😂

      When I work on my 04 ‘it always escalates!
      Yesterday: startet for „just“ a quick rust removal and painting at my U-Subframe… at 1pm and finished at 11pm 🙈

      @@l.j.4577 oh god ahaha, yeah always be prepared to do more than you went in for. This was meant to just be a box replace. Then it went to New engine mounts, clean up and respray the box cross member, replace the bushes on it and also turned out I need a new clutch fork and throughout bearing 😂😂

    Hey mate. I recently bought a bug eye wagon same as yours and my box is going, what were some of the obvious things you experienced besides the chunks of metal? Fellow Aus viewer from Canberra I like the videos 👍

      Oh this one was proper rooted. In car parks you could hear the centre diff clunking away, and the not sure if it was a bearing or gear issue. But no matter what speed of gear, it sounded like a straight cut box and just over all felt very average to change gear with

    You're lucky the heat shields were off the turbo and downpipe, they're a real dick! 😊 the box cannot be removed with them fitted

      as fun as a rwd subie would be, not for this car aha. buuut, if i ever hit 10k subs, a rwd subaru ute build does sound pretty good...
