They are like statues, untill you use your sword to awaken them just to kill them. I know the meaning of the game is "killing for self-interest, not for a greater good", but it is still sad to disrupt their peace; even the first two don't attack you after seeing you, they are just walking around...
That's why it's my favorite colossus, I also like his shape, their introduction, that he flies, the area where he is, the way to defeat him, and even the music they play during the battle
They Aren’t Necessarily Innocent.
They Contain Fragments Of An Evil God.
And Have Probably Killed Hundreds Who Have Attempted To Do The Same As Wander.

Watching all of these first cutscenes never get old.
Avion=aviary = air and flying and stuff
Call me basic, but the first intro was my favorite intro of them all. Not my favorite fight, since it was a little too simple, but definitely favorite intro. Considering that you had no previous point of reference to how big these Colossi would be, it was a first impression that could not be easily forgotten. Seeing literally the first enemy of the entire game already being a massive beast casually shattering and shaking the ground as it walks by gave me a feeling of shock and surprise that could not be replicated with the later intros. Since it enters into the game minding its own business, it was really emblematic of most of the other Colossi, that though they are certainly dangerous to cross, they were not actively seeking to kill or fight until you showed up, and it also makes you question whether or not you're doing the right thing, since you are the aggressor in most of these fights.
Dirge almost give me nightmares when i was young;-;
But in the reverse avion gave me chills !!! i feel so powerful and so small when i see that giant bird ^^

@TheGreenEyedMonsterTruck Acutally, Quadratus is a Buffalo, sine his horns are tucked to his up-side, and not near it’s nose. Plus, quadratus does not have a tusk.
pelagia was the very first colossus I ever saw, that's why he is my most favourite colossi.

I like how Hydrus is a combination of both a electric eel and a catfish which Team Ico got the idea for when making Hydrus since electric eels don’t electrocute themselves underwater and catfishes looks…well look like a cat because of the whiskers
And Kuromori looks exactly like a bearded dragon,lizard and dragon since lizards sometimes have either a very slim tails or very flat tails,I like that,it’s a cool detail for both Hydrus and Kuromori

I'd prefer him over Celosia any day. That bastard is the worst of them all
Dirge is pretty Easy. The worst colossi is Basaran. That bastard is frustrating
You probably already beat Dirge by now, but the strategy I use is luring Dirge to one end of the cave, making sure I have a straight shot across, so that the only thing I have to worry about is shooting one of the giant eyes.
@@quilavafactorynotreallybut5429 just hit the eye, Argo automatic run when you chase by Dirge.
I know this comment is old, but don't try to control Agro while you're aiming your bow. She'll run automatically and swerve around corners herself as long as you're aiming.

I think he is suppose to be a gorilla because if you look at pelagia at a side view,he is a gorilla cause gorillas does have big arms and small legs just like pelagia is designed to be
