45 LIKES and I'll do another mhw video 😉 *A lot of people keep telling me this, and I always forget about it as well. The skill "Capacity Boost" is another must-have for the Charge Blade. I knew I forgot something in this video... 😅*
My fav part about this video is being advised to just be reckless and have fun with it. Cuz I learn better in practice and the advanced user's complex details ae confusing for now lol
actually being reckless with the chargeblade gets u kills, I notice that if I strategize, i faith at least once, and if I just turn off my brain and use it as is. not counting phails and stratigically morphing. I kill them without even noticing
Yeah after the dlc launched I guess others didn't really need to say that Savage Axe mode is dlc exclusive since it just feels like it was already there at the start of the game
You just earned a new subscriber you made it so easy for me and I wanted to learn charge blade for so long but everyone’s guides are so confusing you make it so easy thank you so much
I saw a clip of someone hitting an saed, and I swear it rewrote my brain chemistry. Thanks for keeping this video short, was super easy to follow compared to others and isn't as complicated as i expected. Great jagras never saw me coming with 50 saed's to the face.
Rip Great Jagras 💀 thank you for watching the video! I too was the same whenever I saw the saed, I needed to know how to do it and get good at using the weapon as well
Got bored and decided to try Charge Blade again, didn't realize guard points were a thing and I was doing them accidentally, knowing they exist just gave me more reason to like this weapon lol
Same here :D although my first world playthrough was with the SnS and i loved it but i lacked some big hits, this keeps the same theme just adds those big hits :D
Very extremely late to the video. Great guide dude loved it as a TLDR here's how to unga bunga without making it too hard. 2 small notes/tips though: the charged shield gives 2 guard levels so you only need to slot guard lvl 3 to get the full benefit second: the fastest and easiest combo for phial charging is Y -> charge B -> Y this combo gives red phials without overloading in the least amount of hits as an aditional combo if you store phials you can RT + B -> Y -> charge B -> Y -> RT + B
Didn’t know it changed in iceborne no wonder I was having trouble lol been so long since I played this but now I can be a charge blade main again hahaha
As a card carrying cb cult member, I dislike charging my sword. I like playing around my phials and charging my shield to drop nukes when the time comes with huge axe damage. I know you keep your phials after charging your sword and you can go right into SAED but it just feels more like a waste of time when I could have dropped two or three huge axe swings instead. Not to mention savage axe.
@@mitzuriki yes but I can't be bothered most of the time with how long it takes to charge. MR monsters give me even less time to focus on sword play forcing me into guarding and guard pointing instead of dodging for attack openings
Hey man. Thanks a lot for this guide. Tried to learn from other videos but couldn't. Your video really explained to me like I am a baby and that really helps making things feel simpler. Now I don't feel discouraged to learn CB again i guess 😅
yes. it is literally the hardest weapon in the game. I have a WAY much better time with longsword, way fucking easier. But I still like CB a LOT. its cool.
I just got into this game and I’m having a tough time deciding between weapons. I main the Insect Glaive right now but I also like the CB and DB, I’m trying to like the HBG but I can’t for the life of me get past how slow it feels.
Depending on the monster I either swap around or use one specific weapon against that monster. I don't blame you for not getting used to the HBG, I think it's slow as well but I got used to it.
If you're still trying hbg I recommend the shield, helps you stand your ground more, also try not to overdo the wyvernsnipe, it animation locks and becomes just a little annoying to use with faster dudes
I've become dependant of stunning monsters, so I switched to element phial for a change. So far, it turns out it did some damage to my play performance, but it's not as much as I thought.
Yeah I have a low expectation on whether a video gets a lot of views and if they reach the end of the video 😅 I consider myself as a tiny TH-camr that barely gets views
We all start somewhere so don't worry about it. I almost quit after fighting against Anjanath so you went much further than me. It took me some time to get used to this game
okay employed the sword charging, using saed form sword mode etc (sept savage axe) and omg its a game changer still having issues with overheated swortd and havign to switch to axe to avoid wasting enerrgy but thats just apr for the coruse fo using charge blade, just need to learn better energy management
@@spiritretro3571 I just picked up CB from DB main and before this video my strategy was to have my sword ricochet until the monster staggers then bring the axe down and swing around a few times then rinse and repeat. I think i like how CB a little more actually knowing how to charge it now.
@Logan Brodnax thats what i said ? Read his comment befor me he was not sure about focus i meant focus is BIS for CB maybe i did wrote it down badly. Cheers
@@Gin___toxic *"thats what i said ? Read his comment befor me he was not sure about focus i meant focus is BIS for CB maybe i did wrote it down badly."* Yes, you wrote it badly.
