Thanks for this. Awesome advise for me just starting out. Been researching for over a year and am ready to go digital (maybe POD later) and you gave me great places to start. I really live the font idea 💡 because i am sure i can create my own font! ❤ The craft pattern idea is also a bonus. I've seen many on pinterest but never thought about making them myself. Hi Brother, I watched almost all of your videos, I cannot thank you enough for all the valuable information, I am going to start my etsy dropshipping store next week, and I am going to source my products from China, the problem is the tracking number is going to say that the product is shipped from China when I am from India, how do I change this ship from location?
You're so welcome and thank you for supporting me. On Sunday I will be launching a full Etsy shop set up video for FREE on my TH-cam, maybe an hour long, if you're interested. In terms of the tracking there are lot's of apps on the Shopify store that will let you set up custom tracking pages, if you just search for 'custom tracking' or 'order tracking' something like that, you'll get loads of options. Just choose the one you think is best for your needs. You can also go on forums for liquid code that you can copy and paste into your shopify order tracking emails if you prefer, but it's a bit more complex :)
Pls don't get me wrong. I think that your videos are great, but I know someone who make fonts from scratch but it just feels terrible that these skilled people, who take days and weeks to make these fonts, are losing money because people are taking these fonts that they give free for people to use and to promote their font business, and they take these fonts put them in a bundle and sell them at a cheap price... Not even crediting the makers. IT'S A SAD LIFE NOWADAYS WITH SO MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO SCREW OTHERS SO EASILY TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK!
Hey Anne I appreciate your response.. what I would say is the font creators are listing their fonts for free public download on font hosting platforms. I assume they get royalties or some bonus for giving out free designs otherwise why would they as the creator do it. The website I mentioned also has a section for paid fonts, so creators can of course list fonts for a fee if they wish. All of my TH-cam videos are 100% free and each one takes me around 4 days to make… I’m sure other people use what I give for free in order to make money, and I’m totally fine with that. The font creators can also sell directly on Etsy if they wish, and like I said no one is forcing them to list their fonts as ‘free use’… it even states re sale and repurpose is permitted so I really don’t think it’s a negative. Anyway that’s just my opinion. And honestly I really appreciate you watching my content so much 😊
Is'nt that like taking someone's hard work making the Fonts , that they are giving to you for Free, and then selling them to unsuspecting buyers for money? Kind of shitty, isn't it?
I don’t think packaging fonts that are available for resale is a bad thing to do at all no. You are providing a service, to someone that is looking specifically for that service.
