I have actually pivoted my business from selling digital goodnotes stickers to actually working in my field of mental health counseling and selling printable self help resources for the reasons you mentioned. The customer satisfaction says it all. If someone is throwing something up just for sales, it's going to be extremely evident.

I really appreciate all your tips! Definitely will use those! I’m new to Etsy, and honestly I opened a shop lately only to sell some of what I call “nonsense stuff” I’ve made in the past, and make some side hustle.
Regarding what you said (“focus on what you’re an export in”), I’m actually a product designer (UX-UI), illustrator, and also web designer-developer. Now, you got me thinking like, how would I know if I should stick to what I’m good at, like you said, if I have no idea if there’s even a demand for anything I can do? I might find myself work hard on something that doesn’t sell. And this is what I’m afraid of, and also the reason I sticked to nonsense art design stuff that I’ve already got in my pipeline.

Question: would you combine personal spreadsheet like budgeting and selling to small businesses like a client tracker in one shop? Although these are spreadsheets they're two different niches. It's just super time consuming to have 2 shops I'd personally want just one. Would love your expertise.
