    Every time I go to Etsy hunt I always see her on the top 10. I was sooo surprised that she has a TH-cam and that she actually shows her shop!! Blew my mind.

    Fantastic interview! Thank you both. On a side note, all of the keyboard typing sounds were an annoying distraction. I loved everything else though. ❤

      I agree. Great video and love your channel. The typing was super distracting (and not needed).

      I agree I do not get why she allowed this. Just record it if you need it typed. It felt so awkward Was it her typing while she was talking or an assistant. Awkward

      @therstudio Great Interview! I have a question though; hopefully someone can answer it. Why turn adds on for listings that are already viral. What is the point of advertising listings that are already appearing at the top of searches??

    What a wonderful video Heather. You did an amazing job. The way that you broke things down and asked the perfect questions was fantastic. Very professional and well done! Thank you for sharing it with everyone! Bailey is amazing as well. She has done such a wonderful job showing what can be done with digital products and she does an outstanding job with her channel as well. I am so impressed with both of you! Thank you and hats off to you both. What an inspiration you are! All the best always. ❤

    Really good video! I have learned a lot from both of you for the past several months. I left the medical field, too. I have digital items but now want to go to POD as well. I am still left wondering if it's a good idea to merge the two together in my shop where I have a small following, 10 sales and one 5 star review OR create a new shop and start over. Can you please advise on this? Also, the typing didn't bother me at all. I figured it was just a design feature you wanted to add.

    Thanks for all the info & inspiration!!! I will say one thing though... I know everyone keeps talking about email lists like they're super important..and maybe so, I'm a noob here..but I did wana say for me personally... I don't sign up or give my email to people like wheb stores ask for it ..and I really hate it when I'm forced to sign up for something with my email. Because the next thing you know, you have 5 emails a day from yet another company and your inbox fills up faster than you can clean it..email sign up lists are just a huge turn off for me :( I'd honestly rather get a text but I'm not sure if that works with this type of thing. My email is currently yelling at me all the time cuz I'm "out of storage" and the last thing I want is more emails! I'm sorry that's just my 2 cents 😫 plz don't kill me lol.

    Thank you so much for doing this. Can you start an email list from your Etsy customers? Would their info be proprietary to Etsy or can the seller contact them without it being considered spam?

      I've had sellers ask me to join their mailing list, they integrate it into their sales. So when i get an email confirming the order, I get a request to join the sellers mailing list a little while later.

      I know the feeling. I have 200 items in POD and not one sale. I just wonder if all these people here on TH-cam work for Etsy and Printify? I only see the same people reporting sales. I have worked for four months and not one sale and only get from 5 to 20 visitors a day.

    Great interview! QQ: I'm so curious abt how Bailey's model is a digital product for other business owners. All the other POD content on YT is abt making products (tangible or digital) for end-users (consumers). I'm SO interested in designing digital assets for small biz owners like she does. Are there really that many sublimation tumbler sellers out there who don't make their own designs, or am I missing something? Not trying to shade or copy her model (she's clearly doing a ton of things right); just trying to understand it so I can find my own audience & apply a similar sales strategy. TY!

  • @jenarmstrong118

    I keep hearing "neesh" but have always pronounced it "nitch". A quick lookup shows "neesh" as the more common British pronunciation while "nitch" is the more common American pronunciation. Either works ;)

    • @Renee-oh7sl
      @Renee-oh7sl ปีที่แล้ว

      it's a french word. Hence pronounced
      'neesh'. If you say it in English the you can say it any way you like... nitch or neesh

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agreed with the other comment, I think it’s heavy research for what’s already selling on Etsy. You can do it for free without research tools or speed up by using Everbee or eRank. There are free plans to get a good grasp on what to find. Also you can watch a lot of TH-cam videos on audiences that Bailey has, my TH-cam or others for more helps too.❤️

    What really bothers me about these types of people is how low effort and low skill these designs are. Basically just carpet bombing these sites ... Kudos to them for being able to monetize it, but it's kind of gross. Not a surprise that AI fits into this, given that it's low effort, requires very little skill, and steals from artists that were used to train it. Not even bothering to take a design course to even know the basics of which tool you're supposed to use for which type of designs.
