Yammy’s definitely making it, and Zommari and Aaroniero should make it, just because they had roles, AND they have hella unique abilities. I think Hisagi and Chojiro might honestly be dlc. Ryuken and Isshin would be sick too.
Szayel is the favorite Espada of Kubo so he was literally more likely to be in the game than any other Espada. He is also more unique and can have more interesting mechanics for a fighting game than Grimmjow for example and must also take this into account.

I will be pissed if Hisagi and Ikkaku doesn't make it meanwhile Kira and Rangiku did. Hisagi and Ikkaku are easily the two most popular of the Lieutenant type Soul Reapers. They also have way more moveset potential than Rangiku and Kira.
@yoshidam1 Yup, I think Ikkaku should start off with his sealed Zanpakuto cause dual wielding the sword and sheathe the way he does is unique and dope. Shikai can be awakening and Bankai can be a reawakening. This makes sense to me since Ikkaku will only use Bankai as a last resort and will even not use it at all at the risk of his life.

2:44 Maybe Yammy's awakening would be him enlarging without his Resurrección but using his "RAGE" ability as the awakening. The gimmick is, after awakening, he gains a new gauge bar mechanic. The gauge starts full with 10 bars. Over time, 1 bar of the gauge will be depleted, but for each bar gone, will give him one small boost. When the gauge bar reaches zero, before his Konpaku hits zero, his Resurrección will then be released. His second Resurrección could be his finisher OR if his Konpaku hits zero after his first Resurrección is released, he is revived with 3 Konpaku and goes second release. In short, Yammy after awakening, has a countdown gauge bar and should be defeated before it reaches zero, or else he'll be a force to be reckoned with after his release. Yammy's stats, in the beginning, should be very slow in Speed with decent ATK, Range, DEF, and Techs to balance it out. A very slow fighter, but can be deadly very late-game.
All the characters you picked are definitely 100% valid as far as character choice but imma need White as a playable character over yami I don’t think to many people would be upset about that but all the rest of the characters slots are damn near irreplaceable

I hope you’re correct about these story mode bosses but the more I think about JJK had a bunch of small story mode bosses that were recycled in …mission mode and bleach also has a mission mode where u can recycle those fights(hollows, fracciones, maybe even lieutenants too) with challenges and whatnot. My gut lowkey says Orihime but if she makes it 7, who could they possibly pick for the 8th Lieutenants of relevance left are Momo, Hisagi and Ikkaku. And I highly doubt they’ll pick Orihime or Momo over Ikkaku or Hisagi. If we go over 8 more slots Orihime should get in but as it stands idk bruh.
At this point I don't think Orihime will be in the base roster. Probably not even as DLC. It would be kind of odd showing her trailer now and not right after Ichigo's, Uryu's and Chad's. Despite her higher relevance in the Arrancar arc.

I think we should hold out a little hope for a few characters getting reveal trailers post release because 8 just seems like too few with some of the popular options we have left. Like I don’t see why someone like Kira would make it in and not be rest of the Espada. Even the less popular ones like Aaroneriro a d Zommari. Kira over Hisagi, Ikkaku, Yumichika or even Momo also seems like just an odd choice to make. Dangai Ichigo is also a must. There’s also some more niche characters like Isshin, Ukitake, White and some other Vizards who could make it in. There’s always DLC, but there’s just too many options to fit just 8 slots imo.
Your list looks almost exactly like mine, but I think Orihime will actually be playable. I was really thinking she wouldn't, but I don't think they'd slap her on the cover AND the main menu with her being so in your face like that. Not to mention she apparently has the most outfits shown off so far, or so I've read people say. Also, would they REALLY leave out Hachigen or make him a story only assist? He pretty much single handedly dealt with one of those top 3 Espada. Pun unavoidable. I'd love to see how they handle him since we don't have a full on hado-kido character. He'd be a Barrier-Kido-Hado monster who'd be kinda hard to deal with I imagine. Literally all the other Visoreds came to job, lol. I was also thinking about Dangai Ichigo and the Black-Faced Aizen (don't know what it's called). I think he'd be like a premium outfit/ echo fighter with slightly different abilities, but generally playing the same with the Final Getsuga Tensho as his stronger Kikon Move. Based on what was shown in the source material, as I've just rewatched it (probably need to read it), I'm not sure there's enough to make yet another Ichigo. At least not as a full character.
Putting in White over Yammy, or any other espada, captain, or lieutenant, would be a huge mistake in my opinion. White only appears in Ichigo's inner world or as a manifestation that overtakes his body during his fight with Byakuya, during his visored training, and against Ulquiorra. Yammy participates in many more battles against a wider variety of characters, which probably makes him more deserving of a spot in the playable roster over a zanpakuto spirit.
I think we should see Stark, Baraggan, Zommari, Nnoitra, Yammy, Ukitake, Ikkaku, and then perhaps one more lieutenant (Momo, Hisagi, or Yachiru). Who knows if there will be other playable characters, since we might not necessarily have every single playable character receive a trailer prior to the game's release date. I definitely believe that most of the aforementioned characters have a higher chance of getting in over Ukitake, as the latter really only participates in a small handful of battles. Characters such as Ichigo (Dangai), "Hollow Ichigo", "Zangetsu", and Aizen (5th Form) might be delegated as story-exclusive characters. "Hollow Ichigo", since it is technically a zanpakuto spirit, should not have a spot on the playable roster over any of the espada, captains, or lieutenants. Since the story revolves around controlling Ichigo, "Hollow Ichigo" and "Zangetsu" should have movesets similar to Ichigo, with a few special moves or animations changed around to add some flavour, though they should definitely not be playable characters.
Dangai ichigo is a weird one I would expect him to be a character, but then again they have specific supers against characters, Ulquiorra has an specific super against Ichigo so to me it makes sense to have mugetsu be an specific super bankai ichigo does to aizen, dangai being a costume (even tho that would suck, but it can happen)
i mean dangai ichigo being a outfit wouldn't work given how both ichigos that exist would make it weird as fuck, SS arc being a no go cause too early and Bankai Ichigo could work but then you have the issue of full hollow powers that makes it weird to see if dangai was a outfit, it needs to be a character by itself or a story only thing to exist

I agree with the list except I really feel Yami just may end up being a boss character for story and just for coping I'll say orihime over momo will make it bc there's no way they gonna do all her outfits that we've seen in trailers but not make her playable while being lazy and not making models for ppl like ichigo's family

Crazy assumption on my end, but i think the Kikon moves are structured the way they are because of Yammi's existence. Only SE Ulquiorra has a kikon move with a cinematic where he interacts with the opponent, and i believe it only works on Ichigo (not sure if that's confirmed) since he also has lanza del relampago as a kikon move. Im gonna feel stupid if im wrong but i think i cooked with this.
@Sanji_Vinsmoke_69 Hard to explain but usually in fighting games, an ultimate attack would trigger a cutscene where the character is attacking the victim like in Storm 4. But in this game, everyone's kikon move starts with a cutscene of the character doing their attack but it cuts back to the match in real time when the attack is about to hit (or is hitting them) like for example Base SuperHero Gohan's ultimate in Sparking Zero compared to his Super Saiyan version. SE Ulquiorra's Kikon has a cutscene where he wraps his tail around Ichigo's neck. If it could be used on anyone that isn't Ichigo (which i personally doubt), it obviously wouldn't work on a resurrected Yammi.

Momo is popular in Japan. Plus she used her shikai which can give her aproper moveset along with Kido moves. Main thing is she has shown enough stuff to make a complete moveset of her.

ALL fighting characters should be playbale and available on release! We already pay for a full price game ff sake. It's just sad and scary that people are so easily brainwashed, in this case into thinking that it's alright to have a small roster and it's alright to get characters that should be available on release as payed DLC...I will never support this model. The gameplay is mediocre at best but if it has a small roster I might not even buy it even though BLEACH is one of my all time favorite series.
You haven’t played the game or been paying attention if you think the gameplay is mediocre. They are actually trying to make something deeper than usual. That’s where the time is going and id rather have quality than quantity…. You anime game players are used to hollow shallow experiences with tons of characters to fill the void. Hopefully this isn’t that and alot of their time goes into making really good character spell gameplay. Certain characters who don’t do any thing in the story can’t just be playable. Wait til sequel?
@@purplepineapple7893 I have actually played plenty of competitive and non competitive fighting games. Rebirth of Souls seems to have slightly better mechanics than your regular arena fighter but it still doesn't have enough depth to have longevity and be considered a competitive fighting game. A lot of its mechanics are locked behind gimmicks. The gameplay is very restictive and the movement limited which will make the game stale, repetitive and boring quite fast. I hope I am wrong and they surprise me with new mechanics such as a focus on a proper parry and clashing system because so far I am disapointed.
Ikkaku could have a move where he summons yumichika like shinji and Hiyori to hit the opponent tbh even if it would've been cool to have yumichika a whole character with effect like draining the reishi of the opponent or some like that
@@kennethtoro1875 Both Ikkaku and Yumichika have done more than half the revealed roster and your telling me they can't think up a moveset meanwhile they gave Nel one in her Centaur form? Ikkaku has a unique fighting style with his Zanpakuto sealed where he uses his sword and sheathe to fight, he can start with that, Awaken in Shikai and Reawaken in Bankai, it's not hard to make a moveset for him. Yumichika's full shikai might be tricky though.
Would totally suck if any single one of the espada didn't make it to the base roster. That being said, there are other major character still yet to be announced and we're gonna most likely lose them or some espada. I have a feeling that Zommari and Hisagi won't be playable cos their movesets have such a drastic change from base to awakening.
That makes no sense as a reason to exclude Hisagi like that. We literally have Awakenings that summon giant titans and a giant snake and characters. All of a sudden going from a sword to chain scythes is too much?

Okay, Omaeda I get as he got a fight do a moveset can be made and Chojiro as TYBW DLC maybe. But Iba and Isane haven't even done anything to get a moveset. At best they are part of another characters moveset in another time. None of them are relevant enough in these arcs, except for Omaeda which is hialrious, and Isane who mainly heals and would have a Kido moveset. None of them are getting in at this point but it would be nice if they ever did.

Who knows if there will be other playable characters, since we might not necessarily have every single playable character receive a trailer prior to the game's release date. I definitely believe that most of the aforementioned characters have a higher chance of getting in over Ukitake, as the latter really only participates in a small handful of battles. Characters such as Ichigo (Dangai), "Hollow Ichigo", "Zangetsu", and Aizen (5th Form) might be delegated as story-exclusive characters. "Hollow Ichigo", since it is technically a zanpakuto spirit, should not have a spot on the playable roster over any of the espada, captains, or lieutenants. Since the story revolves around controlling Ichigo, "Hollow Ichigo" and "Zangetsu" should have movesets similar to Ichigo, with a few special moves or animations changed around to add some flavour, though they should definitely not be playable characters.

Dangai ichigo is a weird one
I would expect him to be a character, but then again they have specific supers against characters, Ulquiorra has an specific super against Ichigo so to me it makes sense to have mugetsu be an specific super bankai ichigo does to aizen, dangai being a costume (even tho that would suck, but it can happen)
i mean dangai ichigo being a outfit wouldn't work given how both ichigos that exist would make it weird as fuck, SS arc being a no go cause too early and Bankai Ichigo could work but then you have the issue of full hollow powers that makes it weird to see if dangai was a outfit, it needs to be a character by itself or a story only thing to exist

They can make a new ichigo but dangai has like 4 attacks that he does, no other transformations to have as awakening and no other supers other than mugetsu (unless they just invent things)
And they could make him a costume but like you said, weird as fuck because of what arrancar arc ichigo has as a moveset

Crazy assumption on my end, but i think the Kikon moves are structured the way they are because of Yammi's existence. Only SE Ulquiorra has a kikon move with a cinematic where he interacts with the opponent, and i believe it only works on Ichigo (not sure if that's confirmed) since he also has lanza del relampago as a kikon move. Im gonna feel stupid if im wrong but i think i cooked with this.
and how are kikon moves structured in a way that suits yammy?
@Sanji_Vinsmoke_69 Hard to explain but usually in fighting games, an ultimate attack would trigger a cutscene where the character is attacking the victim like in Storm 4. But in this game, everyone's kikon move starts with a cutscene of the character doing their attack but it cuts back to the match in real time when the attack is about to hit (or is hitting them) like for example Base SuperHero Gohan's ultimate in Sparking Zero compared to his Super Saiyan version. SE Ulquiorra's Kikon has a cutscene where he wraps his tail around Ichigo's neck. If it could be used on anyone that isn't Ichigo (which i personally doubt), it obviously wouldn't work on a resurrected Yammi.

Momo is popular in Japan. Plus she used her shikai which can give her aproper moveset along with Kido moves.
Main thing is she has shown enough stuff to make a complete moveset of her.

It's just sad and scary that people are so easily brainwashed, in this case into thinking that it's alright to have a small roster and it's alright to get characters that should be available on release as payed DLC...I will never support this model.
The gameplay is mediocre at best but if it has a small roster I might not even buy it even though BLEACH is one of my all time favorite series.
You haven’t played the game or been paying attention if you think the gameplay is mediocre. They are actually trying to make something deeper than usual. That’s where the time is going and id rather have quality than quantity…. You anime game players are used to hollow shallow experiences with tons of characters to fill the void. Hopefully this isn’t that and alot of their time goes into making really good character spell gameplay. Certain characters who don’t do any thing in the story can’t just be playable. Wait til sequel?

Rebirth of Souls seems to have slightly better mechanics than your regular arena fighter but it still doesn't have enough depth to have longevity and be considered a competitive fighting game.
A lot of its mechanics are locked behind gimmicks. The gameplay is very restictive and the movement limited which will make the game stale, repetitive and boring quite fast.
I hope I am wrong and they surprise me with new mechanics such as a focus on a proper parry and clashing system because so far I am disapointed.

No, that literally goes against squad 11's beliefs. Yumichika would never interfere in Ikkaku's fights and Ikkaku would be pissed if he did.

@@kennethtoro1875 Both Ikkaku and Yumichika have done more than half the revealed roster and your telling me they can't think up a moveset meanwhile they gave Nel one in her Centaur form? Ikkaku has a unique fighting style with his Zanpakuto sealed where he uses his sword and sheathe to fight, he can start with that, Awaken in Shikai and Reawaken in Bankai, it's not hard to make a moveset for him. Yumichika's full shikai might be tricky though.

Would totally suck if any single one of the espada didn't make it to the base roster. That being said, there are other major character still yet to be announced and we're gonna most likely lose them or some espada.
I have a feeling that Zommari and Hisagi won't be playable cos their movesets have such a drastic change from base to awakening.
That makes no sense as a reason to exclude Hisagi like that. We literally have Awakenings that summon giant titans and a giant snake and characters. All of a sudden going from a sword to chain scythes is too much?

Okay, Omaeda I get as he got a fight do a moveset can be made and Chojiro as TYBW DLC maybe.
But Iba and Isane haven't even done anything to get a moveset. At best they are part of another characters moveset in another time.
None of them are relevant enough in these arcs, except for Omaeda which is hialrious, and Isane who mainly heals and would have a Kido moveset. None of them are getting in at this point but it would be nice if they ever did.
