Let it be said again. None of us are expecting a 1 to 1 story mode from Rebirth of Souls cause this isn’t a story based game. It’s a good start, great voice acting and good presentation but undeniably scuffed in places. I think Karin and Yuzu and any relevant side characters deserve to have character models or at least have a cut in picture near their dialogue showing who’s talking, just so there’s less “characters talking off screen” 😂. I just want them to fine tune the story mode as best they can without sacrificing the rest of the game ofc.
Makai i think you could have use Tamsoft soccer game and Gintama Rumble as your examples because they didn’t miss small details to tell the story even though they are different genres.
Currently you unlock the content of the fighting games with DLC, in the old games you did it with the story mode. I think that's the reason the story modes are worse now.

Sparking zero was over glazed, and even though valid criticism was brought up, it wasn't spoken up from the people that wanted to talk about it until after launch. What do you know about the game that is truth, do you have an ear from the dev? Bro, grow the channel the way you want. I just got done watching the Bleach Anime from Ep 1-145 and it is great so far. I do not know if they are going to add Orihime intot he game with her powers since her powers are creative, but you need to figure out what moveset to have for her. Also, Do you think we could get the rest of the Espada and Captains?
I can understand the lighting and shadows a little bit but I don't really care about the little ghost girl because she won't come back in the story so I don't expect them to waste money on her model being high quality. I honestly don't think this is that big of a deal hence this is the beginning not soul society arc and arrancar arc
I don't think the shadow situation will remain, it's obvious that if they showed it in the first trailers like that, it will end like this. After all, remember that between streams...and maybe even the game that is not finished It can happen...that other errors appear. The complaint about the shadows is useless because it is immediately clear that they will fix it. The scenes are well done...it is true that important characters are missing for the Main characters but...I think they don't have the big budget available. But they are already doing a lot by putting in dubbed and animated scenes. In some sections they will be strange and in others more quality for important scenes surely (this has been presented by some trailers already) in dialogue scenes and that's it it's okay that they are wooden Just to say it seems like a different experience from Sparking Zero (For the story). I'm not attacking, I'm just having a civil discussion.

It took me a while to get my thoughts on this before giving my take tbh I get your point of view and you're right stuff like no Yuzu or Karin or Isshin is disappointing but at the same time i can understand when you consider that a lot of fighting games with a story don't add NPC's or characters that are not relevant to the story so I'll work with what we got. However I'm completely surprised they didn't add Isshin when i considered him being a potential character HOWEVER while I'm ok with working with what we got I want what we get to be good. The shadows and the quality of the background something that i used to have an issue with in the Uryu trailer that was eased with the Grimmjow one is now something i want to be addressed after seeing how it is in the story mode. I doubt our feedback is taken into account unfortunately but on the offchance that it does these are things that I think should be worked on. At the very least and i mean if they really can't be bothered i hope the later parts of the story like Soul Society and Arrancar Arc don't have these same problem. I've read the manga and watched the anime so this isn't a big deal for me but it probably will be for others I really would dislike it if they gave that same quality to the extra stories that's one of he selling points of this game and i want it to have actual effort put in not adapting novels like honeydrop raphsody where we play as Yoruichi a curry mix for Rukia to give Byakuya but to complete it you got to fight random shinigami for no reason to find I want an actual original story with an actual plot and purpose to everything.
No makai your not wrong we want higher quality in anime games and BROS is finally that game but we are only asking to do better. Injustice 2 has the best fighting game cutscenes I ever seen BROS has cutscenes on the level of storm 1-3. But what makes it worse is that we also see characters off screen at least this game is very stylish but still imagine this game as with a different IP like Spider-Man or Batman when those IP’s deserve way better it’s 2025 just look at the backlash what that avatar last airbender game got around 2 yeas ago
Ima be real i cant think of a single fighting game story that is actually good and its my second favorite genre, i get having concerns but just personally i have no exceptions for a fighting games story mode especially an anime fighting games story mode, and to respond to your question regarding the ip yes i love fight games i dont play them for ip nore does anybody in the fgc youre speaking to a casual audience with that question and majority of those people are most likely gonna dip a few weeks after launch regardless of if the story mode is good or not that's just the reality casuals dont stick around for fighting games unless theres some gimkick like world tour in sf6, also your take on rb2 doesn't hold up to date at all in a modern landscape with actual good netcode that game would of thrived regardless of not having a story mode, i agree with your last 2 points tho people making excuses for that are just dickriding
Facts this game is fully being marketed as a competitive fighter. That already alienates majority of the bleach fanbase and gamer fan base in general. The fact that its an anime ip fighting game alienates a lot of hard core fgc guys too. I have a feeling people are going to try to use steam charts and stuff to say this game is a flop when it actually hits all the mechanical marks
i honestly don't really know how to feel about it i mean my favorite anime fighter is once justice and their story mode sucked so it's really not gone matter to me. tbh the shadows and other technical issues i didn't even notice i just don't pay attention to that stuff my biggest annoyance is them not including a model for ishin, yuzu and karin. I still think it's pretty impressive that we are getting everything from start to the aizen fight and it seems like their not cutting story points so i think it's something to acknowledge but cutting characters as important as ichigo's family is pretty bad. I personally don't think it will completely ruin the game or anything it's not as if the story mode is as outrages as whatever jjk did but it's certainly not gone help sell copy's . i would go to your streams to talke more about it but where I live it's like 2 am or something when you stream i need to go to work and stuff.

Well because remember the entire venture is to make money. Why make a new story when it’s completely unnecessary and risky? Remember shattered blade and dark souls, neither do most people. New stories means hiring writers and taking a chance on a story rather than trusting the very popular, lucrative, and already mapped out story with its very cool and iconic moments that you’d have to skip on for the experimental story.

I played injustice one and only enjoyed the story. Online sucked and the only reason I ever go back to it is for offline or to fight bots. Where as I am interested in playing ros online my guess is itll suck, especially if it has the netcode of xenoverse, so it better have serviceable single player and challenging bots that I can fight offline.
Saying people only play it because it’s a fighter and not because the story is like saying people only play cod because of the multiplayer and not the campaign
They do, COD campaigns have been getting worse and worse since like black ops 3 and the majority hasnt even batted an eye. Yes there a there are people that play cod campaigns and a decent amount that love them but lets not pretend that they are the main selling point for the series. Its been this way for over a decade now.
You have not made the video yet for Shunsui but I wanted to add that I think your concerns might/are right. This game is extremely casual based after watching his gameplay. They just want to create a decent game but I think we have been spoiled by so many complex foghting or arena games that we gotta accept this one w a grain of salt

If they wanted to do a 1-1 comparison of his abilities it'd have been an easy slam dunk but honestly It feels like most of his moves were glanced over in the actual sense n not studied. .. EX: He can create 2 wind cyclones at a time from each blade but they only show him being able to use one. Another EX: Why did they give him a teleport in the front when his teleport as shown was in the shadow behind the person to get a back stab. I for sure thought he'd be a hit n run character
They aren't crossing T's n Dotting I's to make it absolutely accurate. I mean I get adding in moves to character that don't have a lot but there is plenty to work w for Shunsui
