      @@cindyballenger3375 In Tadasana (mountain) and for the back leg in Utthita Trikonasana (triangle), the thigh moves 'back'. Think of it like this: where is your back body? That's the direction of 'back'. Another way to think of it is: 'move the front of your thigh toward the back side of your thigh.'
      The language around this can be challenging but I hope this helps!

    parsva hasta padasana is the same as a half utthita trikonasana?

      hi Cati, I haven't heard it referred to in this way but Parsva Hasta Padasana is indeed the stance from which you could move into Utthita Trikonasana. Hope that helps :)

    Loved the class. I do get confused about moving thigh back or in or what? one thigh gong one way and the other going a different way? thanks

      It is a funny thing but yes, they can move in different directions. The answer is specific to the asana you are working on . Is there a specific pose that you are confused about? Let me know the name of the pose of the timestamp in the video and I'll see if I can better clarify ;)

      @@francinehowie1881 I teach a weekly Healthy Backs class to address a variety of spinal issues, including scoliosis. I also have several students in my general classes with scoliosis and regularly offer modifications and insight as per their needs.
