Let’s all be thankful that bisharp was the unova pokemon they decided to give an evolution. Keep in mind ferrothorns base stats are 489. If they really wanted to they could give it an evolution too
You know, I usually do VGC, but I did Trick Magic a while back, and I had a special Dragapult *just for them*. The number of Flutter Manes that would try to Moonblast me only to get obliterated by Tera Blast was a thing of joy \o/
Next list should be Poison. If we want to do a trend where you tackle a typing that’s weak to the previous typing, then it makes sense to do Poison next Dragon -> Fairy -> Poison or Steel
I'm caught up on the anime, do you suggest reading the manga? If so, should I start from scratch or am I good starting after the anime ended? Idk if there are any huge differences between the 2.
@@MysticUmbreon Awesome! How did you like the anime? I can't recommend the manga enough. I can't name another piece of media that's had a more profound impact on me personally. Without getting too deep, I was in a pretty big rut, and Vinland Saga encouraged me to pull my ass out of it and be better. Thank you Yukimura 🙏🏻 I'd say it's worth reading the manga from the start. The anime is pretty faithful, but it sadly cut out certain scenes and presents events in a different order to the manga. For example, we learn all about Thorfinn and Askeladd's rocky relationship in chapters 1 and 2, and then we get Thorfinn's backstory. And the manga's totally worth it to marvel at Yukimura's astonishing artwork 😍
I really like Flutter Mane, personally, but I can see why people could dislike it, I guess. BUT I've always really liked Misdreavus. The one pokemon from Gen 9 that I'm really starting to dislike is Farigiraf. I like the design, I love the concept, and Girafirig desperately needed an evolution, but my friends and I all play doubles, and one of them has a Farigiraf team that is HORRIBLE to break. It's literally the single best speed control pokemon ever created. Trick Room, Anti-Trick Room with Imprison, stops priority with Armor Tail... the thing is a very tall menace and I'm just over it.
I guess steel is next. After doing dragon and fairy, the 2 strongest typings, it ain't complete without the unbreakable defense. "The best defense, is a good defense."
Gen 9 power creep is ridiculous 14 paradox forms 12 New legendries with 6 new ones in the indigo disk almost all pokemon are two or single stage New evolution and more
Never really been a big fan of the format. I understand that it's Pokemon's official competitive, but I've always liked singles due to how it was the OG battling mechanic. The anime also did it for me. Especially when Ash would have heated battles and such. Might be a silly reason, but that's primarily why I choose singles over VGC.
Fairy types need a better physical move than Play Rough because of it's iffy accuracy. Gamefreak need too either let more 'mons learn Spirit Break or come up with more move variety imo
I play vgc and I think this is the top 10 fairy types in vgc: 1. Flutter mane 2. Whimsicott 3. Grimmsnarl 4. Tapu fini 5. Tapu lele 6. Hatterene 7. Alolan ninetails 8. Togekiss 9. Azumarill 10. Sylveon Let me know what you think or if you want me to explain why
Nice vedo Mystic. I will state Alolan Ninetales is one of the worst match-ups for a Dragon-type, since it has both typings Dragons are weak against, as well as Mega Altaria. Silveon, Azumarill, Clefable, and Mega Altaria, are my favorite Fairy-types. I do however like the idea you suggested a few videos back about a Ground/Fairy Milotic, and the horrifying thing is I can actually see that being a regional variant somewhere down the line. If that happens, I'll let you know.
Great ranking Fairy types are very interesting? What’s your thoughts on the idea of past Pokemon gaining the fairy type (like Clefable once just being normal and now Normal fairy etc) in that way would those Pokemon be somewhat a variaint 🤔
I didn't see the usual Eevee to Umbreon transitions, that are on every top 10 video, in this one. Also, are you making sure your recording equipment is good? Couldn't help noticing a few clippings around the beginning of this. Best make sure things are okay before going any further. But yeah, another good listing, but I can understand your being exasperated over repeated explanations. Best to take a load off every now and then.
Yea I have yet to beat a dondozo team myself. Never used meowscarada back in season 1 and specs torkoal clear smog isn't as reliable as I wish it was...
Basculin is that pokemon that has gone out of it’s way to hurt me many many times, hence why it’d my least favourite Pokémon, this also applies to basculegion.
@@MysticUmbreon I figured, but I just think that you should make a disclaimer when you do these tier list or suggestions to people. Because people think Smogon rules are official and there not by any means and never will be.
I am sick of losing raid battles because people seem to think Iron Hands will win regardless of type match ups. So, I have gotten to a point where I will just end the battle before starting if two or more people end up using it. It is a solid fighter don't get me wrong, but when you are competing against pokemon that will drop fighting types with ease it is the wrong pokemon to use. Iron Hands isn't God, and if you don't know your type matchups then you probably shouldn't be trying to join other people's raids. That is really the one pokemon that has caused me the most grief, and it is only because of how over used he is without bringing the same reward.
If you've not done it during gen 9 yet, I'd like to see top 10 psychic types (would probably have to have a no legendaries clause though, because of how many legendaries are psychic)
7:48 slight error it was supposed to be Fighting/ Fairy not Fighting/ Psychic
He calls iron hands fairy/steel too 😂
Steel/Fairy is the best type combination that fairies could ask for
Agreed, that’s why tinkaton is my fav
@@redshot5403 with Pranster Kefki
Defensively, you're right, but just think about the menace a fast offensive Fairy/Ground type would be
@@jayrome1884 that would be scary, if built right
@macwelch8599 Yeah, for example, Enamorus is already good as is, but if Earth Power was STAB, it would be very scary
Let’s all be thankful that bisharp was the unova pokemon they decided to give an evolution. Keep in mind ferrothorns base stats are 489. If they really wanted to they could give it an evolution too
They should totally give Ferrothorn an Evo :D
@@durk5331Oh hell nah, I don't want to see Ferrothorn with Eviolite.
Getting a top ten fairy type list?! On my birthday :O This is making me extremely happy!
Happy birthday
Happy birthday, best of wishes! 🎉
My fav fairy type is by far Togekiss :)
Magearna and Enamorous are my favorite fairy legendaries. Primarina, Grimmsnarl, Hatterene and Togekiss for regular Pokemon.

Top 10 Fairy list and a new Vinland Saga chapter on the same day? We eatin' good!

Keep up the awesome work and videos love the video
Missed the evolution number like in normal videos
War crime Pokémon for me: Landorus-T. That thing can go to hell
I play doubles and don't mind Fluttermane. Gholdengo on the other hand recks my day almost every single time.
Fairly good list
They need to buff Flutter Mane stats for the future games.

Primarina honorable mention?
Definitely
I think that Fluttermane is the strongest Fairy type.
I’m so attached to my Sylveon all the other Fairies will never do!!
7:46 you showed the wrong type combination. Iron Valiant is a fighting and fairy not psychic.
I really thought Sylveon would be on this list
War crime pokémon?
Cynthia's Garchomp and Spiritomb. Those two ruined childhoods.
There is a reason I keep naming Weezing War Crimes.....especially now that Terastalizing is a thing Normal Tera, Normal Gem, Explosion
Waiting on that fairy/fire type to add to my fire team.

My favorite fairy type was Milotic in Renegade Platinum.
Hey Mystic, to avoid having to feel like a broken record on the recording, how about the top 3/5/10 Pokemon of each type who need an evolution
That's a good suggestion! Thank you!
Sounds interesting
Chein pao and garganicle are my war crime pokemon
Ah yes Iron Valiant, the fighting/psychic type on a top 10 fairy list lol. I know it's fighting/fairy, but the mistake is funny.
How about something a little different. Like the 10 weakest Pokemon from every type?
Did that series a little while ago, but I may bring it back again for an update once this series is over!
Im doing my Pokemon team and I'll tell you later mystic
My fav type is fairy , ice and dragon
