    The plasma donation clinic near me is at the University, you can donate 2x a week and they pay you using a reloadable credit card. It depends on weight but they usually take 880ml each time.
    Also they're not taking blood, it's plasma. They spin the plasma and blood cells apart and then give you back the blood cells in cycles. At the end you also get a saline drip to compensate for the lose of plasma.

    So I normally don’t comment on videos but I needed to address one thing here. Elizabeth Bathory didn't take baths in the blood of young women. Sure she was a harsh ruler and that was pretty much it. The whole story started when her husband died and she inherited all his possessions, since there were so many she was even able to sell a castle to the Habsburgs, the problem here the Habsburgs didn’t pay and were indebted to her. Further more she was slightly vocal about forming or rather joining a coalition to bring another noble to the Hungarian throne and well take it form the Habsburgs.
    When it came to the women that died in her castle well … it was due to an small epidemic and Elizabeth wasn’t even inside of the castle not even near it. Also no one witnessed any atrocities and all the witnesses had the story that went more or less “Well I heard something …. That She did well kill or drink blood”. Next There was no court order to imprison her (Yes you needed a court order to imprison a noble) so she was basically forcefully and unrightfully imprisoned. The Notebook that was found …. Allegedly had 650 names of young noble women, well if one of them went missing I’m pretty sure that their fathers would investigate that after all marriages secured alliances.
    So in the end She was put in house arrest and after her mysterious death her kids were called traitors and her whole wealth was taken by the Habsburgs, meaning that they secured that no coalition will form and that they wont have to pay for the castle.
    The more graphic story though was written by a Jesuit that first wanted to gain points by the Habsburgs and second wanted to portray that if someone converts from the Catholic faith they will surely become a demon. Problem though that Elizabeth was never Catholic she never converted and was the whole time Protestant but he conveniently left that out. So yeah that the story but still in some schools even this misconception is thought because reasons so ….yeah.

    Vampirism is a real thing. Many animals are vampiric, and even people can be born as vampiric.
    The blood needs to be able to produce certain chemicals in order for the cells to function properly.
    Sometimes, people are unable to produce the protein, iron, or amino acids in their own blood, and so they need the blood of others to function.
    This is where blood transfusions come in.
    But actually, CONSUMING blood is an extremely rare situation where some people are born with a legitimate need to consume it.
    My ex identified as a vampire, and she actually drank blood. Bought bags of it to freeze and use as ingredients for tea and such.
    She tried to stop many times, but after two weeks, she collapsed and went to the ER... they were slowly killing her because they couldn't figure out what was wrong, and so i had to let her drink my blood from my arm.
    The doctors are still baffled but MY theory is that because of certain deficiencies like what are found in vampire bats, people that need to drink blood have lower insulin levels than what is concidered normal and must drink blood at each meal or whenever needed to get enough nutrients.
    Because of my ex, we got involved in a group of people with similar issues and who all have adopted the vampire lifestyle.
    Mostly from the south of the US, there are over 5,000 self identified vampires out there across America alone.
    😅 the sterotypical image of what makes a vampire a vampire was created because of stupid people in the Middle Ages, not understanding.
    So I know vampires are real, I've dated one...
    They don't have weaknesses like in folklore though the ones that I've met DO have slight sun allergies, their skin burns like normal sunburns but they experienc A LOT of pain if exposed too much

      Like, the Turn the Frogs Gay meme, comes from a real thing.
      Just as a reminder, when he said this, we called everything gay. Specifically when man or male was perceived as weak and effeminate.
      The study Alex uses is real. It is about how certain chemicals and things are disrupting the hormone development of frogs. Tadpoles would be exposed to the chemicals and it was found that the run off made the tadpoles more disposed to develop more feminine and produced less male hormones.
      Like it is believed that these micro plastics or hormone disrupters are part of the reason Erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, low sperm counts and generally weaker men as time goes on.
      It was a crazy, hyperbolic expression he used. But the news and Internet took it literally. Like he was saying that scientists were injecting chemicals into frogs that made male frogs have sex with other male frogs. Which isn't what he was saying. If anything, a more accurate expression would be making the Frogs trans.

    I use to donate plasma a long time ago back when I didn't have a job, it was my only source of stable income for like a year and I would go the alloted twice a week, usually Tuesday and Thursday since there had to be a day in between. I never noticed it while donating but apparently I would be moody and more scatter brained than usual during my donating days, then I would start to nomralize over the weekend and then fall right back into that moody and scatter brained state after my Tuesday appointment. Once I was forced to stop donating due to health reasons I started to noticed how much better I felt and everyone close to me commented on how much better I seemed now that I had stopped. It does more than mess with you physically, there are mental side effects as well.

      @@Enchie I guess my old comment got deleted. No that's not how it works. Every scammer and conman sprinkles in a little bit of truth in all their BS. You see it in cults, you see it in wellness gurus, you see it in goop, that's how they get you. You accept that part that is common knowledge and then follow with them with whatever nonsense they have left. Just look at the big names like Andrew Tate. He gives bottom shelf advice any 10 year old could give you and then goes off the deep end to create a cult of desperate, depressed men who have only him as an idol. Naturally, this makes them failures at life, which thanks to his teachings means they have to try harder by spending more money. It's basic psychological manipulation. TL;DR Donating Whole Blood is rewarding and easy and goes to Hospitals. Donating Plasma can earn you money, but it sucks, and they're for profit.
    Donate blood to your local blood bank, for medical transfusions. You help your community, and your body gains strength from regenerating blood. I used to do it as often as possible until my blood pressure became too high for it to be safe. You only feel it for 1 to 3 days. Very rewarding even if it doesn't really make a difference to your health.
    Wasn't done with the video when I posted this. Donate WHOLE blood to a community blood bank. They do not pay for it. They're not for profit. Donating Plasma is different, a lot stricter, honestly it sucks. I did it once and only once. When I went back for a second time, I still had a bruise from the first time, and you only got money that's worth the 2 to 4 hours you spend there, if you do it consistently over set time periods.
    Also, donating Plasma can be done very often, because it only takes the plasma, not all of the blood. Donating Whole Blood can only be done every several months. I believe 2 at the MINIMUM.

    • @MrDrekki
      @MrDrekki 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      in france i donate plasma and blood for free ( we get free food, from bakeries that partners with them, and some candies ), because we're not crazy like the us and it goes to hospitals for burn victims, also i can donate my plasma and they ask that i donate it because my platelets count is over 3millions instead of the 200k to 300k usual, so i litteraly can help people reform a layer of skin and preserve their fluid better, it's not about donating blood and getting cash in the EU, it's about saving people, your blood cannot be used by everyone, your plasma can. You can even make platelets donations here, 1 time per 6 month, and the process is very long, but you keep your blood and your plasma. And no, donating plasma cannot be done often and shouldn't. It's a lie. You have a donor card here with the dates you donated, and if you try to donate again they will send you back home, also you get a bloodcheck for free and can even request a fullcheckup after 5 donations.

    • @CelticAssassin
      @CelticAssassin 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MrDrekkiPlasma here in the US is compensated and typically for profit to encourage people to donate said plasma as well as to help pay for the lengthy and arduous task of processing it both for the donor and the folk working with it. Unlike whole blood, plasma isn't immediately usable unless it's just being used to increase blood pressure which is a job mostly replaced by saline now.
      Whole blood is treated differently here both because hospitals often will refuse to use for profit blood due to ethical issues and because the FDA highly discourages it since it could lead to desperate people with bloodborne illnesses illegally donating for a quick buck and the poor being exploited. It's also of a much higher focus here in the US because whole blood is the most used of the two here and we're near constantly in a blood shortage. Plasma we don't typically have an issue with whereas we're almost always low on whole blood thanks to its short shelf life, limited compatibility, and to an extent lack of incentive to donate.
      I'm an O+ and a semi frequent donor. I'm hounded left and right and downright begged for my blood. Never had anyone ask me for plasma. In fact, we have plasma in such large supply here that the EU as a whole imports plasma from us in significant quantities. Just how it works. If it weren't for the serious ethical and practical issues, having whole blood be compensated and for profit as well would likely solve our shortage.

    When I was about 14 or so, I just went to the logic of one of the Oracle Twins from American Dragon Jake Long.
    Yes, this has a point.
    The twin who could see all the bad things was happy while her other twin saw only good became emo. The logic being that if you only see everything is bad, all the small little good in the world becomes brighter. Reverse logic for the emo girl.
    Reduced me wanting to anhero myself as a kid significantly when I assumed things were bad, like really bad, and I just didn't know details.
    Stuff like this makes me convinced becoming nihilistic for my own mental health was a good choice. It didn't hurt when bad stuff started to happen throughout my life as much as I thought it should. Even my mom kicking me out because I didn't want her giving money to a guy claiming to be Tyler Perry and thinking she was his wife. She then threw my grandmother under the bus trying to say she was a whore and not her for doing this (told her I already knew this cause of shit she said before) and she didn't know how else to respond to me being pissed and hitting her just to want her to give me a straight honest anwser to why she was using the money from my job to give to some random scammer and making me pay all the bills and even lied we owed rent when we acfually didn't.
    I didn't even care she kicked me out. I was legit just more angry she didn't even fucking admit she was lying to me for 3 years when I went out to find cash in hand jobs and worked my self so much I was skipping most meals and barely eating once a day just to get to work.
    Sorry for the long tangent but it's sort of relevant to explain the whole point and I want to be honest about what I did.
    My moms reason for doing all this? She liked a guy she thought was handsome called her pretty. That's it. I would call her crazy but when she goes to the doctors and shit they don't bring it up and can't out her in a ward and I ended up having to question now how many years has she been lying about this stuff with similar things she has said in the past.
    The main point being that I figured evil shit like this happened all the time already since young. No concrete info but you could make educated guesses based on the past and information declassifed like say the Tsukegee experiments.
    It basicaly makes me truly wonder how people can call stuff like Alex Jones crazy when the shit he says ends up being less crazy then reality for the simple fact reality is burecratic. There is no great plan or anything, no evil master mind behind everything. Hell, not even a sympathetic or compelling backstory to why shit like this happens.
    No, people just wanted to get rich. That's it. They saw an oppurtunity, tried it, worked out the kinks and now make billions off selling other peoples blood to rich people with procedures that don't even work! The cult shit ends up sounding more realistic because it sounds reasonable in comparison to this actual saturday morning cartoon villian sounding shit but this is just normal buisness!
    Sorry for the long comment again, just getting the point across for my own view of the world and honestly wanting to express it more then anything in a more personal explination way then just say shit without any related point to the crazy you just watched.

    I wouldn't do something like drain people of their blood for it, but immortality is super high on my wish list lol. I have said this about every show or game with an immortal person who gets bored of life: They are boring people who don't know how to enjoy life. I have literally SOOO many things I could do with hundreds of years RIGHT NOW, and that's only with the things I have on hand at the moment, just think what I could do with the content of the next hundred years.

    The video is rather misleading with the wording. It's not whole blood that he's referring to, it's specifically and exclusively plasma. Hospitals will refuse to work with for profit whole blood so whole blood is exclusively a charity. Plasma on the other hand is not, though plasma is not the typical life saver that blood is. Sure plasma is processed into things that can be life saving for some people but it's not what they're giving to folk who are dying or on an operating table. While for profit whole blood is legal in the US it's highly discouraged by the FDA and is extremely unprofitable thanks to hospitals taking an ethical stance making it essentially nonexistent.

    IDK about Korea, but in the Philippines it's pretty common for children to get circumcised, being it's part of catholic traditions. It's akin to a rite of passage to a point children get bullied and ridiculed by their peers if they aren't circumcised. My brother who studied medicine did mandatory work in government program to give free circumcisions to poor neighborhoods as part of his medical training. Seeing as Philippines is more poverty stricken and has a whole culture ingrained in baby fore skin removal, I am fairly surprised that the baby foreskin is sourced in Korea.

    This dude irks me. Don't get me wrong, he's doing good actually revealing this stuff, but there's so much...side misinformation he peddles that irks me.
    First off, he calls the satanic cabal cult mythological and a conspiracy but Alex Jones back in the 80's or 90's literally proved it by infiltrating Bohemian Grove.
    Second, this isn't how capitalism was intended to be, but it is a consequence of capitalism. It's a bridge that can lead to a bureaucracy, which we essentially live in already. Best economic system in the world doesn't mean it's perfect, unfortunately.
    And the last and probably least important one that shouldn't annoy me as much as it does, is that only in cartoonish media does the devil grant you powers in exchange for your soul. In every other base form it's a trick, a scam, a fraud.
    Idk why those points annoyed me, maybe I just don't like him or how he speaks. Or I'm just an idiot.

    • @CelticAssassin
      @CelticAssassin 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The one that pissed me off the most was the blood aspect. While he wasn't explicitly lying he was wording things incredibly deceptively. The entire time he was wording things as if he was referring to whole blood or blood as a whole. He was referring to neither and was exclusively talking about plasma but notice how little he actually says plasma outright, instead choosing to only say blood.
      The way he phrases things would have you believe that blood is compensated in the US on the whole when in reality hospitals will outright refuse for profit whole blood and the FDA strongly discourages it as well, only plasma is regularly compensated and done for profit which is very different from whole blood.

      I mean, he didn’t? The Bohemian Grove thing wasn’t satanic, Alex just claimed it was?

      @@nevermore7285 in terms of what the average people view as satanic, I think cloaked chanting with torches and (hopefully) mock human sacrificing on a pedestal fits the category if "satanic".

    • @nevermore7285
      @nevermore7285 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Xarxes_ What he saw was the ‘cremation of care’ ceremony/play. It isn’t a majority of the things Alex claimed or tried to portray it as. Any more than rich people draining baby blood is what this all is about.

      @@weiserwolf580 Sinclair may have conflicts of interest, but the field of epigenetics is far bigger than just him after all these decades.
      The tests HAVE been all reproduced and its precisely why the X-Prize was announced at the end of last year. The field is not in speculation anymore. Its factual.
      Yeast was indeed the first test subject but every example you are pulling is towards the beginning of the research which was over 20 years ago.
      If you update your knowledge, you will find that all the animals and human organelles yielded the same or similar enough results to encourage further testing. Human testing began late last year and we will have the full results of that soon enough as well.

    So dumb to blame this on capitalism, it's not capitalism, it's due to social decay and morality breaking down.
    The reason that is happening is because
    1: we've given our government too much power, which was specifically not supposed to happen.
    And 2 : Christianity is all but dead, I'm not a Christian but the morality and devotion Christians had and have is extremely beneficial to society.
    Capitalism is the only reason we have phones, cars, electric, nuclear power, the reason we know more about space, and the ocean, the reason we know about evolution, all of it is because of capitalism.
    The cause is social decay, either we fix it, or humans cannot overcome their nature, and we are doomed.
