I want to point out the following:
    1) This video kicks ass, and is an excellent 2nd part.
    2) I learned a lot from this video.
    3) Regardless of however well this video performs, You are fucking killing it mate. The editing, animation, writing, and topic are on point.

In fact, from a Buddhist viewpoint, we don't eliminate craving by cultivating just non-attachment. The main antidote to craving is the wisdom of dependent-arising. This is still simplistic, of course, and Later Buddhist schools don't see craving as the root of suffering.
In later Buddhist schools, the antidote is a union of wisdom (of dependent arising) and compassion.

Ever since your last video before this series, eight books that changed my life, I've often revisited this channel only to find no new uploads, which was a bit disappointing, because I thoroughly enjoyed your channel. This series however, has been well worth the wait. Your videos are already on a different level and standard than almost anything on youtube, and you've managed to not only accomplish the same feat again with your first two videos of the series, you've also managed to make them exceptionally good on your already exceptionally good channel! I'm extremely appreciative of these videos, the new perspectives they offer and the work you do, and I'm already looking forward to the next one. Keep up the fantastic work!

I'm not saying I completely understood or took to heart what you presented in these 2 videos but they somehow helped me a LOT. They presented me with knowledge and perspectives previously unknown to me and having clinical depression, never once the "professionals" that should've helped me to improve my condition ever came close to presenting such information. It's uncanny how both of these videos came talking about specific things I needed to hear in that exact moment.
This comment may be lost in the sea of comments, but if you get to read this I want you to know you really helped me by showing me "roads" I couldn't see before and they really had a great impact on my overall mental health. So thank you, Sir, for researching and presenting this information in the best way possible. Thanks for helping me.

I'm 3 month late but this vidéo and teh serie you're building are trully great works, really interesting, well sourced and constructed. This kind of format is not easy to watch but i'm glad you are there to provide us with this kind of vulgarisation and essay ( i don't know if the world translate in english). Thank's for the vidéo, it's trully enlightning.

Awesome video. I really loved it. I watched all of chapter 1 & 2. I will probably watch these again and take notes. I can't wait for the rest of the videos. I really hope to learn a lot in the entire 14 episdoes. I'm already starting to pinpoint the things in my life that have been a cause of unhapineess. I"m beginning to start the difficult process of changing my outlook to one of acceptance and calmer awareness, rather than repeating a traumatic or bad experience in my mind over and over and over again. I'm learning stop and say to myself, "this is going to make me unhappy, I just had a bad experience, I'm aware of it, now let me do something else." I'm also starting to become more aware of where to direct my attention to,afterwards. And that's on a day to day basis, the teaching myself how to think part. I'm also looking forward to applying these concepts to my life on a broader level.
I once took a course on creativity. Going in, was really skeptical about what I could actually learn from it. Creativity is such an abstract thing. I couldn't comprehend how it could be taught. I really learnt a lot, though. Like constraints are good, because they cause you to be creative to find solutions; and instead of coming up with one good idea, think of a bunch and pick the best. These are are ideas I use all the time.
So, this time I was pretty optimistic about what I could learn about something as abstract as happiness, and I was not dissapointed. I want to be more happy. Helly, yeah! I could use that in my life. This is amazing!
Thanks a lot, Will Schoder! You're awesome!
