What true story is this?!
Wasn’t it $25,000 he took out from his wife?
Jeremy review the Bob Marley movie, and it's a Canon event.
Glad to see Gypsy and Danger are still thriving.
Isn’t that the name of the girl who killed her mother for forcing her to pretend she was mentally and physically disabled??
i’ve been subscribed to this man for years. never put his dogs’ names together. thank you.
@@chance1774 Yeah, took me a while, too. I think I had to hear Jeremy spell it out in a video.
I agree!!! 👍
Something like this actually happened to me once. Found a stray dog while hiking around Shiloh with some friends and he followed us the whole way. He ran across the street towards a neighborhood right after we reached the end of the trail, so he might not have been a stray, after all. We called him Chester.
OMG THAT'S HOW WE FOUND OUR DOGGO TOO!! My mom and I was jogging in a lake when a random puppy started following us while running awkwardly (she was running straight, but her body was in like a 45° angle-ish. Idk how to describe it, but it was so adorable). She followed us all the way to the car with the help of other passerby joggers, and in the end decided to keep her. She's now 8 years old, and her name is Athena haha
Yeah
@@kaneshraveenthran3654it was meant to be ❤❤❤
Same here, it felt like he used me to find the way home
Did you think you saved the dog but it turned out that it was actually he that saved you?
Mark Walberg's character stealing 50k from his wife savings just sounds like something a character played by Mark Walberg would do.
Hahaha😂 Brilliant
She didn't take an interest in science.
lmao
Maybe his wife was Vietnamese
Lol
This movie was filmed three years ago and took almost 2 years for visual effects to which I was a visual effects artist on this movie and did 15 shots myself usually doing rotoscope or clean plating. There is possibly more visual effects in this movie than Godzilla Because so much of everything had to be removed and faked, but you would never know it. Even the clock was visual effects for the countdown was all fake, and I know because every shot of the clock countdown was me, and only me. The scenery where the mountains are in a few scenes is all a matte painting using Photoshop the woman who did it sat right behind me. The guy to my left did a lot of the lighting on the CGI dog when he was in the river. And of course a bunch of scenes where the dog is not close up is CGI because the dog did not want to follow directions all the time. Crews had to be removed from the sunglasses because you could see them in the reflection. It was a nightmare 😢
hope the paycheck was a dream come true
@@genzboomer-sv3pl no it wasn’t. I got paid $700 a week working in the industry for the stress that I was constantly under for various projects
@@TristanL585 Thank you for letting us know how the movie was made. I might see it so that I can see all of the stuff that you're talking about.
It wasn't that hard with Babe.
Planning to watch this movie tomorrow. I will definitely pay close attention to the cgi.

My dog was a stray puppy we found on the streets on a vacation in Mexico, 7 years later, no regrets
Can't believe this movie is finally coming out. Arthur spent a few good years in my town with his adoptive family and he was a big story in the local paper. Everybody loved Arthur.
Dangit, spoilers
Air Bud will always be the ultimate underdog story.
Underdog will always be the ultimate underdog story
Rocky
Fuck yeah bro airbud!
I don't know about underdog movies BUT movies about dogs like Hachi: A Dog's Taleand A Dog's Way Home will always pull my heart strings and a river of tears.
Did you know Hachi was based on a true story that happened to a Japanese owner of Hachigo? After he died, the dog would go to the train station and wait for his owner. The Japanese movie was also heartbreaking. They even have a statue of Hachigo in Japan.
or like eight below with PaulWalker
Eight Below is so damn underrated. What a great movie.
I'm not a dog person but Hachi is so good & I cried my eyes out.
Ouch! That Cat person joke at the end just hurt! Jeremy! I have taste! I would watch Lion King on my friends Disney+ like a proper Cat Person!
He's saying this movie is better than modern MCU movies
Jeremy lowkey letting us know the dog is ok at the end without saying the spoiler is why I love Jeremy's videos.
Is the dog okay in the end? I just lost my 12 year old furbaby last week. Not watching if the dog dies in the end...
@@kumichan882yes, the dog survives. It's based on a true story.
Dogs are the greatest gift among all earth's creations, truly peak beings.

3:33 well…at least the producers were honest with their “based on a true story” unlike Woman King
Exactly!
Saw it tonight. My friend and I loved it. I will agree though, it was hard to figure out Mark Wahlberg and Simu Liu’s characters, especially their relationship. They were more like frenemies than anything, for most of the movie. The dog was fantastic. Reminded me a bit of my dog, so I came home and gave her all the pets afterward 🙂
I got thumb nailed! I clicked for actual Gypsy and Danger content. The people demand doggy B-role!
same, I was so disappointed that the dogs did not appear in the review :(
Now, I can just think of the SNL skitts where Mark Wahlberg speaks to animals.
😂😂😂😂😂💯
"Say hi to your mother for me."
That super quick ad intro made me laugh. Just straight to it 😂
Arthur true story was unbelievable emotional , really looking forward to see the movie 🎥
I actually went to elementary school with Staffan, the guy who was the navigator for the team who found Arthur. Had a few friends in common.
He's always been a great guy, even as a kid even if we were not close friends.
i've seen more JJ reviews of movies i've never watched than i can even remember. i love his personality.
same haha. been watching since 2015
💯
Jeremy bringing up one the most underrated 90’s movies in Iron Will is peak.
Anytime Jeremy goes to see movie with Dogs, that's when Jeremy knows how to do the TH-camr way of Clickbate: Gypsy and Danger
That Arthur Titanic shot was legendary.
AGREED!!!
The damn ad segue...get that bag Jeremy 😂💪🏿
Im glad he mentioned Iron Will. It's such a great movie. It's definitely worth a watch.
Last night I saw Arthur the King. I enjoyed it. I have always loved dog movies. My favorites include Iron Will, Air bud, Snow Dogs, and Top Dog.
Jeremy is right. Get some tissue out near the end.
Gyspey and Danger ❤
Loved it, was on the edge of my seat on the roller coaster of emotions towards the end
This story actually happened here in Ecuador. I am so glad that Arthur found his family. Who would have imagined that he would become so famous. A great real dog love story.
I can’t wait to watch this movie at home with my dog Corbin 🐶
Always good to see gypsy and danger❤!
Wait a min.. you tricked me into thinking Gypsy and Danger were gonna join the review.. you broke my heart
Immediate thumbs up for that thumbnail! Couple of good puppers! 😻
Loved the reference to one of my all time favorites ... Iron Will!
When you put on the glasses... and don't know why you did it...!
I’m going to go see it tomorrow morning as a matter fact around 11:40 AM to be exact. I’m actually looking forward to it.
100% right... LOTR... best underdog movie. My favorite of all times BTW also... ROTK if I had to choose one of the three, yet I consider them as one.
You mentioned Iron Will. I remember liking that movie a lot. Maybe you should do a review of of that one.
Aw man I was hoping from a Gypsy danger cameo!
My favorite Dog movie is Turner and Hootch
I believe you can only take a lean against certain types of life insurance policies that are backed by serious amounts of actual cash. Borrowing against your own life insurance policy is one of the smartest ways to access capital. You borrow against the policy, which still makes interest, and get a favorable loan from a lender using the policy as collateral. It's a win win.
I think you missed the whole point 🤦
Please put the doggos in more videos they are so cute❤
Maybe he should b-roll of them on his especially painful movie review experiences. That way he can send happiness into the world and even the bad videos will have something worth watching in them.
I remember watching a documentary that mentioned this story. It's so incredible and inspiring. One of those tales where the journey isn't entirely about the destination, but the friends you meet along the way. In this case, it's the furry friends you meet along the way.
“Hey dog. How’s it going? Say hi to your mother for me.”
Yes lotr is the ultimate underdog story, and the best in general. I wanna check this movie out. I think a heart felt movie about a guy and his dog is the kind of movie the world needs
“Hey dog, I just wanna win. I’m not blowing smoke! I really wanna get to know you! Say hi to your mother for me” 🗣🐕
Thank you for the video
I have to admit I did not see the trailer and thought it was a king Arthur movie. But now I know this movie is tailored for me. I am a animal lover, mountain biker and Primal Quest fan. I am going tonight. thanks for the review.
i mean the best under dog story is clearly the mighty ducks
Star Wars A New Hope
"While he and the Funky Bunch are out there doing the competition."
Well played, Jeremy, well played.....
Jeremy is the real king
I am not a dog person, but I am a Jeremy Jahns person, so I'm here for it.
Saw same movie beat jemery Johns review ., saw this liked very much
good to see Gypsy and Danger in this review
This is a feel good family friendly movie, 🍿
-all dangers and solutions are contrived and unearned, but it’s a kids movie. It is what it is.
i love the line "cat lovers will need to use their friend's Disney+ account" on the first day of Disney+ password sharing crackdown.
The dogs are back😂 haven't seen them since the Covid Vlogs
Jeremy! You have to do a reaction to "Beau Is Afraid" with Joaquin Phoenix. This is by far the craziest, weirdest movie you will ever see in your life! And you will never see another one like it. So I want you to watch it with open eyes! I have got to see your reaction to it man! I hope you see this and you watch it for your next video! And plus, how can you miss out on Joaquin Phoenix's best movie!? Give it a watch brother! 👊
The cat/marvel line made me spit my coffee on my dog. Thanks!😂
Going to watch this fr
I liked "Fire House Dog." I wonder if this movie is as good? Jeremy God bless you! 😊
LOVED IT!❤
Your videos are still the same esssential format but your channel is aging like fine wine😂 still watching after almost 10 years
Since you talked about FF7 Rebirth, are we gonna get a review?
Iron Will name drop?? Super underrated movie 👍
I was hopeing you would review this movie, yeah, it exagerates the true events for the sake of entertainment, the truth is Mikael Lindnord was an elite athlete sponsored by Peak Performance, his team has competed with him for over 10 years and there were never internal conflicts between them. When they Vane to Ecuador for the Extreme Race Championship were they met Arthur, there ranked 6th worldwide, they arrived in 12th place in the race because the put Arthur’s wellbeing before the race, but I can asure no one cared who won, we all wanted to see Team Peak Performance and Arthur cross the endline in Mompiche
Jeremy, review the movie Cabrini.
Next to "Dune Part 2" and "The Boys In The Boat", this is one of the best films out in a few years. It's a feel good film. We definitely don't see enough of these types of films. People just don't see them and I encourage anyone to check it out. Though a little cold by number, I don't give a shit. We need more positive films like this. Always.
Literally outside the theatre about to watch this
Jeremy my love. I need your Blasphemous 2 review.
Props for the funky bunch reference
Dogs are awesome!
Ghost Dog 2 Electric Boogaloo
He and the Funky Bunch hahaha ahhh. That randomly got me. Thank you.
Me too 😂. Im dying 😂
I just might go watch it now. I thought for sure that the trailers gave away the whole movie.
Jeremy should do a review for megamind vs the doom syndicate
Dogs are a hard topic to get through. After seeing a dog die, its so hard to watch a movie again knowing its gonna be there.
The dog and Mark Wahlberg in the poster have the exact same expression.
I like this!! Just an honest gut Jeremy's opinion to a movie - not everything needs to blow us away. Sometimes, just watching something uplifting can put a smile on our faces.
Yet yall complain when a movie doesn’t knock your socks off. Hell everyone has been trashing kung fu panda when I thought it was a just good fun film. Yeah it wasn’t the best but I’m not looking for crazy story telling
Love the incredible true story and enjoyed the movie. It takes a lot of liberties with the facts, particularly the whole Mark Wahlberg storyline. The dog parts are pretty accurate though. A lot of clichés and Americanized (the real team was Swedish and Arthur lived out his days in Sweden, rip in 2020)....and for some reason set in the D.R. and not Ecuador....but still an incredible story of a sick, injured stray who experienced human kindness and simply refused to be left behind. Tears were flowing when at the end they showed pictures of the real Arthur, Mikael and the actual events and aftermath.
Jeremy it would be Great for you to do a Review for the Younger Generations of a true story Classic COOL RUNNINGS one of the best true story sports movies .
Sweet sponser sneek ✊😎….. now bring on the dog!! 🐕 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Gotta admit that I agree with every single thing said about the mi ie in this video
Rare positive review from Jeremy
Favorite underdog story is the Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
Took the family this past weekend. We enjoyed it. We walked out saying it was so good and I thought “the bar is so low at the movies now because most movies are so bad” not to be super negative, but it just kind of is that way.
While him and the funky bunch...good one
"Iron Will without the snow." Sold! Also, you forgot that Arthur is Benji for the new generation.
Jeremy, your hair in this video is immaculate
Hi Jeremy, I just watched the film and the scene where Wahlberg talks about using personal funds for the race seemed fine to me. The amount was $25k and then they cut away to his wife watching the race which indicated to me that in her support of him chasing his dream on last time, she also decided to financially support the endeavor. I never felt that he withdrew the money without her knowledge. Other than that, I loved the movie and walked away feeling that we NEED a lot more low buget - personal- 'feel good' stories in theaters. I'm absolutely finished with high budget - low intelligence superhero films. I'd also love to see the continuous train of vapid, disturbing, gore-filled horror movies grind to a halt as well. I'd love to see a resurgence of happiness and hope in storytelling because I feel that we need it. 'Arthur The King' was great, I enjoyed every moment of it.
Watch snack shack!! And review it it deserves more sales
Please show your beautiful dogs more. ❤
It's crazy to think I'm 41 next month and remember having a "New Kids on the Block" belt during intermediate school.
Hacksawridge is GOD TIER underdog story. The ruler of The Underdog Story and one of the best movies ever made to this day!!!!!
Even when having a "simple conversation" the words: "This is just my opinion..." does not seem to be effective in helping that conversation turning sour! So, when the social media is "used" people take their time in "processing" what they've read...the negative results which could ruin anyone's reputation, when they trust the narrator - rather than judge it by other means, and then decide! I guess, the "man's best friend" here, may be the *leader influencer* of this pack!
Agreed, favorite underdog story is probably LOTR
Underdog movie - Stone Fox. Killed my innocence in one scene.
as a Dog lover myself it sounds like a Dog movie that I can see it with my mom I'm sure she would love it
Please watch cabrini Jeremy I never cry but I did watching it
