I try to make these videos as easy as possible to understand while still including all the import info you need to know when tuning a carb or porting a cylinder. I hate other channels that don’t share what they have done to their motors to make them go fast. They gate keep what modifications they have done. I’m all about sharing those things to the community.

You can cut some of the sheathing away on the throttle cable very easily. There's videos on it and I installed the dio reed kit on my yd100 with the nitrous kit and i love it! I cut away about half an inch of the sheathing on the throttle cable and that made it a lot easier

Yeah man it’s great for seeing how your fuel to air mix is doing. Every time I down jet I can see a difference. My question is how did you go from them big machines down to a motorized bike lol.
I just got a carb like this and it looks like i out the gas hose on wrong 😑, i put it on the vent that’s opposite of the choke. I think where yours is hooked up mine was covered with a red cap? I wasnt sure so i hooked it up there and now im wondering if i messed up new carb completely. I can not find a single video where they show them setting up the hoses and this is the first one where you explain them
Nice video man ! i have a same cerb on my motorized bike and i have a trouble i have 115 main jet and dont work . What is the best jetting for this car main and low Thanks
What jets can be used with this carb, can I just get off brand keihin pwk jets off Amazon? Or bad idea? Trying to make a 28mm version of this carb work with a Yamaha Blaster 200 needing to start around a 50 pilot/150 main
Hi. I have problem with cold start nibbi 24 on yx140. It’s hard to start it - choke does nothing (if it’s on, I’m not able to crank). After few kicks without choke and with higher idle revs it starts. Nozzle 3rd, jets 45/98. Float lvl is ok - petrol is on the bottom and top carburetor connection.
Hi i was wondering do you modify your pwk carb by drilling out that tiney hole ive seen done in a smolik performance video tbh im rely not sure what its called or if you know what i mean i think its called a vacume hole or something lol its meant to help the motor pull the fule threw better and stop bogging that these carbs are known for on motorised bikes i dont mean the jets might sound wrird how ive described it its just for the life of me i rely cant thinn what its called i as just out of curiosiy by the way love your vids its grait that yourself and others take time to educate the motorised bike comunity ive learned a alot from yourself and many others here on youtube and facebook Thanks :)
Yeah the pwk is fine because the hole is already bigger. If you got an oko carb the hole is gonna be smaller. Just start large on the jets and go for a ride. Then each time jet down until it has the most power and response
Hi Put on 21mm PWK on my engine it's a scooter 50mm bore 80cc put in a 35 air when I open the throttle quick it cuts out lifted the the needle to rich it's a bit better put is rich on tick over any ideas thanks.
i’m running a pwk on my new phantom v3. do you recommend the same jets? also when i switch out the jets how would i drain the float bowl so gas doesnt spill everywhere?
What I do is get a small container and hold it under the 17mm bolt and loosen until gas comes out. Don’t fully remove it you want to just crack the seal. Also the phantom needs way higher jetting. I would start out at a 140 main and work down from there.
I’m using a 38 pilot and a 105 main with 1 clip up on the needle at top speed I get boggy and then it comes out of it then back to boggy what would be causing that? Too much air?
I agree with you for the most part but I gotta say on the yd100 with the 105 main jet in it. The bike feels ridiculous when you get over 1/2 throttle. It just hits this power-band and before you know it on a 36 tooth sprocket your in the 40mph range all day. I won’t hit that often because I’m still breaking in this new motor.
Slide isn’t installed right there’s a little groove there in the slide hold the spring back put throttle cable there in the slide in the groove where it locks in then let spring go slowly keeping tension on the cable
You say that when you move the needle clip down, towards the tip,it gives you less gas, and when you move it up towards the top, you get less fuel, and that is backwards, the clip, when moved towards the tip, holds the needle up higher in the jet, therefore letting MORE fuel pass,I'm guessing you know this and simply made a mistake with your diagram
Holy jesus bro.. buy a gp460 and have a custom rear sprocket made. Those chinese engines absolutely suck. Prob put out 3x the power. The gp is chinese but jesus christ the quality is just not comparable to those shit vibrators.
Just spray a little gas into the carb to prime it. I had the same issue with mine before. Since the intake is so long on the first startup you will need to spray some gas inside.

To check you can just blow into the inputs and turn the carb upside down it should block the inlet, that’s the fuel supply
