I’d love to see the real time MRI of his Brian while he plays. He seems to have the least strain or nerves while performing lute.
Beautful. I simply love the way that Sr Rincón is totally lost in the music and at one with his instrument as if they are a couple in love (as is appropriate for today - St Valentine's Day!)

¡Guapísimo Miguel! Un gustazo escucharte tocar el pasacalle de R. Visée. De hecho, la toqué yo mismo hace un par de años en un programa que hicimos de barroco francés pero, en mi caso, la suite entera y con flauta de pico y continuo (tiorba y viola da gamba). ¡Me has traído buenos recuerdos! Espero poder conocerte en algún concierto. ¡Un abrazo!

Estaba ensimismado con tu música y esa ejecución tan soberbia cuando me di cuenta de que conocía tus manos. Debo tener buena memoria porque la última vez que recuerdo verte tocar fue en el instituto San Isidoro clavando "master of puppets" de Metallica (ya ha llovido). You're right! Not in renaissance but in baroque french era they performed with the so called "inégalités" , unequal notes (surf on the web). They wrote equal quavers but performed unequal (dotted quaver + semiquaver). This performing style is known nowadays as swing and practiced in jazz music.

Not that long. From about 1590 to around 1725 or a bit later, so maybe 150 years.
