This performance has continued to keep my passion for the Baroque lute high even when I can't afford to commission one of my own and make my own music. Well, I am stunned. This is, of course, the single most perfect piece of music ever composed. But how you do this in a fairly quick but seemingly effortless tempo is without comparison. I like Hoppy‘s version a lot, but yours beats it with its inherent calmness. You‘ve got a new fan, Miguel.

Et Miguel la joue à la perfection, intensité dramatique, polyphonie, virtuosité, douceur, apaisement, plénitude... Wonderful interpetation of the master's work. I like the tempo and the inflection coupled with the phrasing. Even in the faster passages each note is distinct. It's not the first time I have heard this piece, but it is the first time I have heard it played so enjoyably. Bravo!
