I just sold my 6.0l powerstroke. It had egr delete, 03 international turbo, cold air intake, 5" MBRP turbo back exhaust and I ran a SCT tuner with Street Race Lite tune. I now have a 6.7l Cummins with Cold air intake, 4" turbo back Dpf delete exhaust, egr delete and an H&S mini maxx tuner. The Powerstroke blew my Cummins away when it comes to both sound and power, but now I at least trust that I am going to get to where I am going without breaking down.
anybody who actually knows diesel engines would know without a doubt that Cummins engines kick ass and almost never break. iv got a 1959 Chevy spartan 5000 that i tow the drag cars to the strip with i cant tell u how many fords iv beaten when i have a full 42' flatbed and they only have a little 22' car carrier.
This is coming from a Cummins guy, But besides the known issues that the 6.0 has they are pretty easily remedied with small fixes, my uncle blew his 6.0 pretty early in its life but when it was fixed it was a solid work horse of a beast that put down great power and hung with the rest of em problem free, he uses archoil in the winter to help with cold starts (were in canada.. its cold) but other than that its a great engine, and i have 3 cummins 1990 non intercooled stock 1995 12 valve 500ish hp and a 01 24 valve with the 053 block (damn) also stock h.o 4x4 manual so im biased to cummins but i appreciate all DIESELS because im a DIESEL enthusiast and appreciate em all just prefer one brand
Why does everybody bitch about which diesel is better, who gives a shit! Its personal preference. I mean c'mon now atleast he wasn't driving a Nissan or a Toyota? Diesel is Diesel, Every single truck has its own pros and cons, Quit your bitching and get over it, hell lets all enjoy our diesels while we still can. Especially with all this electric shit and clean diesel shit thats coming out!
@AlwaysKreepin look at the damn thing, he has the column gages which would mean he has chips, tuners, or something. and then the sound of it, my mom has an 04 excursion with a 6.0 power stroke and they sound nothing alike!
They all have their perks and downfalls. If I had all the money in the world I would honestly like to have a quad cab F-350 with a Cummins diesel and an Allison transmission......Personally.
Had to go rescue a buddy of mine the other day with my ‘98 5.9 24 valve Cummins when his 6.0 broke down on his way to my house 😂 to be fair he had just bought the truck at an auction, but still, they seem to be holding up their bad rep pretty well from what I can tell. Me and him got stranded in Houston in a 6.0 that he had swapped a truck for. Head gasket was blown, truck stopped about 15 minutes into the ride home. You couldn’t pay me to own one of those things. I’m sure they’re a good truck after you dump half your life savings into them. Not worth it to me. Way too high maintenance. I’ll stick with my truck that I don’t have to do anything to in order to keep it running.
@irontx i aint talkin shit bout ur truck thats prolly one of the best running powerstrokes ive ever seen. I just prefer cummins and dmax. U got dyno numbers on it???
570 is hardly standard for a diesel truck without mods. 6.7s were putting out 650lbs when they were first released. Ford is still behind the other two when it comes to power now. However Ive never hauled anything with a 6.0, 6.4, or scorpion so I cant say this from personal opinion. I have hauled stuff with a 7.3 though and Ive always been impressed with them. Im a Chevy guy though.
owned all three. a 12 and 24 valve, Dmax and now currently a 6.0. if you wanna race the things Jefferson's or Dmax is the way to. more displacement. better top end the v8 motor creates. now to pull the shit out of something a Cummins will fit the bill nice. only problem with the 6.0 is they're to heavily tuned from the dealer to meet the emmissions and to keep up with the trucks that came out. the international versions never blow heads cause they are detuned and don't have emessions
@coorsman2005 did you also hear that the guy in the dodge said i was in the dirt the whole time and did you hear that when the 6.0 boosted too much because the didge didnt go the 6.0 was burning out. some may be from both but the 6.7 was in the dirt like he said
i don't think shes a dog up hills at all.. she is pretty steady and with the modifications i made she holds up very well.. i got the truck with 570lbs-ft of torque at 2K rpms cause i got a later version of the 6.0L
Thats right a stock 6.0 will go a long time before any thing happens to it as soon as you mod it say a chip then you run into problems like head gaskets
@ryanthomaschristophe Actually you will see the powerstroke in a big rig. its called INTERNATIONAL. One of the biggest Tractor Trailer manufactures in the USA
I love it when a cummins owner gets beat because their brain can't logically accept they lost. I own a 6.0l. If I lost to a cummins I think man that was awesome and he has one hell of a nice truck. Cummins owners freak out and it's unacceptable if they loose lol. Simple fact of the matter is a bulletproofed, tuned 6.0 will beat any comparable duramax or cummins. It's an amazing engine, it just has some Bugs that need to be ironed out first.
ive driven all three diesels, the powerstroke smokes the others.. my opinion only, didn't come here to argue. I don't do drugs either. but from 2008 till now, all three are jokes with all the emission problems they are having.. just my experience.
hey nice 6.0 truck, is the truck SCT tuned along with the warren 190s? I am looking at putting warren diesel 190s in my 07 f350 6.0. Also, any fuel milage gains with these aftermarket injectors. thanks
Cummins with 6 cylinder has very narrow rpm range but massive torque psd has massive rpm range Cummins it’s not adequate for racing… just good for towing at economic rpm
+Matthew Bell You crack me up bud. 6.0 powerstrokes are the worst diesel motor ever made especially the earlier years like 2003-2004. Nothing on those trucks were made to last. A fucking 7.3 with 400k is still way more reliable than a bulletproofed 6.0.
***** Not spewing bullshit just saying what happens to 99% of all stock 6.0s. Granted the later models were much better but as a whole 6.0s are shit. Once their bulletproofed they are quite good. BTW for a Cummins 300k isn't even worth bragging about.
well a 7.3L only has 400-500lbs-ft.. the scorpion offers 800lbs-ft just like dodge... chevy offers 750lbs-ft.. the powerstrokes are pretty good engines over all and they aren't dogs either.. the 6.4L had good turbo spool cause of the built in compound turbo setup.. i'm a ford guy and my fav motors are the PS and the cummins.. mostly the 5.9 12V
Can’t wait getting my first ever diesel 96 7,3 180k miles on it looks brand new for 24 yrs of age, will have it either early as Saturday or latest would be monday next week can’t wait lol and this guy laughing sounded like Mathew m In dazed and confused movie
well, motor. the truck is a ford. I'm trying to get a 05-07 6.0l but i found a 03 with 50k on it one owner only used for towing a boat. i fucking love the 6.0l:D
Ryan Collins My pops had a 6.0... defiantly faster than my 7.3 but it blew up and ford spent like 13k fixing it. but to be fair it was and early 04 model
actually this truck has 190s and a powermax so its probable 550-625+ fuel only. and a delete 6.7 probably puts down 400-450 maybe? The cummins was on stock tires and that 6.0 has street slicks there is your answer as to why he didnt blow the tires of completly
Even people who work on powerstrokes admit that they are underpowered towing especially up inclines, I dont think any ford super duty will live up to the 7.3
The 6.0 Powerstroke and the 5.9 Cummins are pretty much the same size as far as displacement goes so if you really think the Ford won because its a V8, please enlighten me... Id love to hear your logic on this
Only one thing wrong and that's with both of these trucks is the straight axle, which causes the "death wobble" you educated truckers should know about this
no, it's not the straight axle that causes death wobble. It's loose steering components. that happens on any straight axle vehicle. or, as the rest of the world likes to call it, solid axle or live axle. if you have death wobble it's because you're an idiot
That Cummins was burning out the tires lol
Plus your truck was all well you added so much power to win
man that 6.0 showed that cummins up
The dodge lost because he didnt have his tow mirrors out.
HA!
Sounds right
Yes you get 150 more hp with them out
I have 100% more respect for the cummins driver cus he didn't have them out
Logan Adams lmao true haha
I just sold my 6.0l powerstroke. It had egr delete, 03 international turbo, cold air intake, 5" MBRP turbo back exhaust and I ran a SCT tuner with Street Race Lite tune. I now have a 6.7l Cummins with Cold air intake, 4" turbo back Dpf delete exhaust, egr delete and an H&S mini maxx tuner. The Powerstroke blew my Cummins away when it comes to both sound and power, but now I at least trust that I am going to get to where I am going without breaking down.
That is a fast truck sir!
Got SMOKED DIDNT LIKE FORD BUT JUST GOT A F250 7.3 and this thing runs like a champ 😍🤟🏼
Hear the whistle? See the smoke? You've been passed by a POWERSTROKE!
cummins just sat there roasting his tires....
should've tried locking in all 4. Works for me.
He gave you the right lane? I thought you both were sharing the ONLY lane. lol Good running stroker. How's the head gasket? lol
anybody who actually knows diesel engines would know without a doubt that Cummins engines kick ass and almost never break. iv got a 1959 Chevy spartan 5000 that i tow the drag cars to the strip with i cant tell u how many fords iv beaten when i have a full 42' flatbed and they only have a little 22' car carrier.

lol that powerstroke walked the dog past that cummins
Why does everybody bitch about which diesel is better, who gives a shit! Its personal preference. I mean c'mon now atleast he wasn't driving a Nissan or a Toyota? Diesel is Diesel, Every single truck has its own pros and cons, Quit your bitching and get over it, hell lets all enjoy our diesels while we still can. Especially with all this electric shit and clean diesel shit thats coming out!
6.0 powerstroke are the best
I'm not a big fan of ford but danm that shit is fast
You smoked that Cummins.
6.0 straight piped is best sounding truck ever
Am I the only one that notices the cummins smoking the tires in the mirror because he couldn't hook??
so did the powerstroke off the line
how is that the 6.0s fault? he lost, he has shit tires so thats his own fault.
A loss is a loss.
yes but a loss is a loss. pretty sure the cummins could’ve got him tho.
Just more excuses
i think this is the fastest powerstroke ive ever seen
Damn that 6.0 smoked the diesel!
Ford trucks are awesome!
Thats nice...now chain them together
me too but a 99 f250 which i have just its a gasser but i would do it up with a cummins 5.9 out of a 06 or 05 and a tremec 6 speed manual trans.
lol surely not, my trucks work for a living.. not ride around playing.. but I really like to watch nimrods tear up their junk..lmao
Totally agree man! ARP head studs all the way and egr delete
@AlwaysKreepin look at the damn thing, he has the column gages which would mean he has chips, tuners, or something. and then the sound of it, my mom has an 04 excursion with a 6.0 power stroke and they sound nothing alike!
the 6.0 is bad ass i got the 03 f250 6.0 v8 its got power guys
That 6.0 sounds SICK!!! Love that whistle!!
I have a 2004 f-250 6.0I. I love my FORD but its like everything else it is all in personal preference.
Those 6.0s have such a crazy sound
Holy shit a ford that can get outta it's own way.
They all have their perks and downfalls. If I had all the money in the world I would honestly like to have a quad cab F-350 with a Cummins diesel and an Allison transmission......Personally.
bad ass!!!!!
Even a broken watch is right twice a day.
Dodge never even caught traction I thought the 6.0 was gonna spin
570 is hardly standard for a diesel truck without mods. 6.7s were putting out 650lbs when they were first released. Ford is still behind the other two when it comes to power now. lets see a tow off next
i’m guessing the second race wasn’t uploaded because it was the same outcome lol
Gotta admit, laughed at the 'Fuckin dickbag' part hahaha
holy shit that whistle...
Good thing that dodge didnt have his mirrors turned up.......
beside the head gasket problem 6.0s have they haul serious ass crazy fast for a diesel
Thats right a stock 6.0 will go a long time before any thing happens to it as soon as you mod it say a chip then you run into problems like head gaskets
i guarantee he already had that done. with the new arp head studs/egr delete im sure he already has, that truck will last forever
Good times
holy fuck that 6.0 goes
sounds like Matthew McConaughay alright alright!
Hahahahah..... if I have to hear that one more time!!!!
Another great day in Mexico
So bad ass
I never had an excuse but my Cummins never lost to a powerblow
Don Mauzy probably because the only one you raced was a 98 model
@ryanthomaschristophe Actually you will see the powerstroke in a big rig. its called INTERNATIONAL. One of the biggest Tractor Trailer manufactures in the USA
Poor Dodge. At least give the guy a head start Geesh! HAHAHA
Haha the need to race the dodge against an s-10 chevy and MAYBE it will be fair for the dodge then. Haha
I love it when a cummins owner gets beat because their brain can't logically accept they lost. I own a 6.0l. If I lost to a cummins I think man that was awesome and he has one hell of a nice truck. Cummins owners freak out and it's unacceptable if they loose lol.

There's just nothing like v8 power!
@gypsymark100 yeah put studs in and get ride of headbolts
Seems about right
I just uploaded a tiny vid of my truck just for you... I'm not bluffing!
The dodge was spinning
i dont care if ur a cummins or duramax guy...if u mess with a 6.0, you WILL get fucked up
Lol well in that case it it would have at least been close. But if the doge could keep the wheels planted it would be keepin up pretty close like
ive driven all three diesels, the powerstroke smokes the others.. my opinion only, didn't come here to argue. I don't do drugs either. but from 2008 till now, all three are jokes with all the emission problems they are having.. just my experience.
Well, the good news is, at least the Ram owner has a supportive life-partner who will love him regardless of how the race went.
OrigDJAnimate holy shit that's good
If the ram would have hooked it would have smoked that Ford. Ford barely even spun
No one like dodge
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dodge Ram Is Shit.
Murika!
hey nice 6.0 truck, is the truck SCT tuned along with the warren 190s? I am looking at putting warren diesel 190s in my 07 f350 6.0. Also, any fuel milage gains with these aftermarket injectors.

powerstroke all day!

I love the confidence in the guy with the 6.0, his laugh though 😂👌
the cummins was blowin white smoke
6.0s are rabbits, put a trailer behind them and watch them struggle.

Can you make more videos
my bad, misread your comment thought you said race a diesel not using a diesel.
yea I was hopin he'e look back at he Roasted Tires cause that's exactly what happend
Everyone is worried about how fast their truck is, but put some wight behind those trucks and I bet the Cummins will out pull the 6.0 any day
I've got a Cummins but I just use it to pull trailers
Can you make more videos please
well a 7.3L only has 400-500lbs-ft.. the scorpion offers 800lbs-ft just like dodge... chevy offers 750lbs-ft.. the powerstrokes are pretty good engines over all and they aren't dogs either.. the 6.4L had good turbo spool cause of the built in compound turbo setup.. i'm a ford guy and my fav motors are the PS and the cummins.. mostly the 5.9 12V

I was gonna say the same . That cummins never caught traction!
Goes to show the powerstroke is a better truck
well, motor. the truck is a ford. I'm trying to get a 05-07 6.0l but i found a 03 with 50k on it one owner only used for towing a boat. i fucking love the 6.0l:D
Ryan Collins 6.0 has a lot of horror stories,,,, coming from a ford guy, I wouldn't get one. get a 5.9 cummins or a 7.3 powerstroke.
I'm getting a 6.0l.
cummins is a overhyped motor just like the 6.0l is a over bashed motor
Ryan Collins My pops had a 6.0... defiantly faster than my 7.3 but it blew up and ford spent like 13k fixing it. but to be fair it was and early 04 model

FUCKIN WALKED HIS ASS🤣🤣🤣
Go up against a 2006-2007 cummins with Efi live or any duramax with efi live you we'll see who's the last one laughing lol all in fun! Good vid!
6.0 is the best diesel motor made when there running. Emphasis on the “when there running” part.
the guy in the ford sounds like matthew mcconaughey haha
ol cummins got ate lol
dude needs a first jen cummins
and thats why I will always by a ford
a word for the cummins owner........never fuck with fords especially the 6.0 one of fords fastest diesels.
The 6.0 Powerstroke and the 5.9 Cummins are pretty much the same size as far as displacement goes so if you really think the Ford won because its a V8, please enlighten me... Id love to hear your logic on this

i wish my ect and eot temps were within one degree...
6.0 says nah nah nah nah nah Can't Touch This.😄😄😄💨💨💨💨💨💨💨
@MsTractorguy keep dreamin bud least we no are motors will out last yours and hold are power
