Can you do me a favor friend whenever your out in the ocean in the the can you try to capture the stars where theres no light pollution or any clouds or anything just the stars? Itd mean a lot of you could safe journeys friend
out on the ocean you will never be able to take a long exposure because the boat is always moving, but the imagination of such a picture is fabulous I get you in that point!

Me too 5 bypasses in 2017 so decided time to buy a boat to start to go blue water again . I did sail ireland canary islands in 1988 but ran out of cash trying to keep a 33 foot prout ranger cat going so had to give up and sell up .Now hopefully rental income from small apartment will keep me going next time in 2020 when the 50 year old 27 foot mono hull craft is fully repaired

Your removal of the keel was the only one I have seen of any of the boat refits. I would trust your boat far more than I would some others around whose keels are bolted on.

Mec j'adore tes videos, j'ai eu l'occasion vivre en voiler avec ma mère étant enfant, nous avons fais l'atlantique en un an en 98 j'avais alors 8 ans, puis j'ai vécu en alternance sur le voilier pendant 6 ans (un an avec ma mere sur le bateau/un an avec mon père en France) ma mere à continué de voyager autour du monde pendant 10ans. Aujourd'hui je vis au Philippines mais tu me donnes envie de repartir, je n'ai malheureusement pas encore les finances pour m'offrir un voilier pour le moment mais avec cette histoire de voilier à 1€, je me mets a regarder Leboncoin avec de l'espoir ;-) . Bref tout ça pour te dire de continuer tes superbes vidéos ainsi que ton périple ca me fais rêver tout seul derrière mon ordinateur et c'est déjà top. Bon courage pour la suite et "keep posting"
les histoires de bateau c'est tjs chouette surtout quand elles sont belles... J'ai un peu le même problème que l'ancien propriétaire d'Ann Alé... J'ai un vieux Edel III (dans le même style que ton plan Mallard), refiter en 2004 (mais en plus light que tout le travail que tu as fait) avec autant que d'électronique que toi à tes débuts ( ;-) ) à donner, sur cassis. Si tu connais du monde intéressé pour lui donner une 3eme voire 4eme vie et de belles navs... On s'en est bien servi pour caboter sur la cote varoise avec les enfants dans leur 1ers mois... et encore une fois tes vidéos sont tops!

Seems to me you always knew what you wanted was being with the boat, sailing seas, and who knows what soul search brings you to it, but the ocean is calling and you keep answering. I'm not at sea but I can hear that oceans quiet whisper myself.

I wish I had had your perspective on life when I was in university. I was too bound by expectations and conformity. I lived 100 m from a marina and never once did I realize the adventure that was waiting there just over my door step. I would have exchanged my apartment for a live aboard today if I could do it over. But sailing life was not even on my radar back then. Now I’m stuck with wife, kids, house, two cars and mortgage 😂 No just kidding, I’m very happy and I’m taking sailing lessons now and maybe getting a boat later, but probably not for the price of a beer 😉
Yesterday my buddy and I watched "Between Homes", and being long time followers of your channel we were amazed by that guy and his badass approach. We thought his crossing made the Frenchman's look so insignificant :P Today you upload this episode, and we are mind blown again, you're back in the game :D What a determination! I loved taking cruises in Puerto Rico so much I did it 5 times. The island is amazing and way better port than miami.
