How to use the MPC Live 2 as a midi controller with the Ableton Live Drum Rack

I made this MPC Live 2 tutorial because I was having trouble figuring out how to correctly map the notes from the MPC to the Ableton Drum Rack. I hope this helps you if you are looking for an answer to this.
This is how you map the notes from the MPC to the Drum Rack.
1) Make sure that the MPC is plugged into your computer with the USB cable. Make sure it's in controller mode, not standalone.
2) Open Ableton
3) Open the MPC Live plug-in sotfware on on it's on own midi track
4) Create a new track with a Drum Rack device
5) On the MPC menu, go into Midi Control
6) Line up the notes on each pad to reflect the pads on the Drum Rack
7) Save the set on your MPC and open it whenever you want to use the MPC with the Ableton Drum Rack.

Is it playing the sample from the MPC or are you literally just using it as a controller that is triggering the sample in ableton.
