This song came out my senior year at high school. Music is so much more available now, but I honestly enjoyed the way we went about getting music more. It was a thing to do with my friends. Go to Sam Goody's, FYE or some local shop when a new album dropped. It was fun
I have had to see them live several times, they are a lot harder live than albums versions of their music. Seen them headline once and always opening for others the rest. They almost steal the show when not headlining. Very impressive show.
I've seen breaking benjamin 5 times. Always as the headliner. And this is because every time they play as setup for more mainstream popular bands, they steal the show.
Loved this song since I was a kid in school. I always rated 'So Cold' and 'Breath' higher than 'Diary of Jane', which is probably their most popular song.
i seen BB live 3 times last year. best shows ive ever been to by far. it would take a page full to list all the awesome things about what they do live. keep going through their stuff it just gets better
Nice A Perfect Circle reference. Breaking Benjamin are actually massive fans of Maynard and tool, and have played many tool covers live. They actually do a damn good job
Just going through TH-cam watching random reactions and i found your channel, i'm also from Adelaide. Great video :) I first heard Breaking Benjamin when the did a song for the first Halo game called Blow me away.
Fun fact, being an Aussie, the first time I heard of them was on a PS1 game called Run Like Hell! Shallow bay, Home and Polyamorous were all boss battle songs. Led me to finding one of my favorite bands 😁
Love the song (awesome reaction as well), I highly recommend you listen to their song "Firefly" as well, there won't be an official video but it's still a great song .... also as someone that was in the same year as you at school (different state though) I understand the struggle of finding music back in the day, thankfully I got along with the owner of the music shop in town so they'd recommend something and put the album on the headphones for me to check it out
I think Ben, the front man has a phobia of flying (hence the next album name and opening/closing tracks which you'll need to check out 😉) so don't think they've done much touring of the world outside the U.S. Which could be reason for them not getting as much radio coverage and being hard to find back in the day. I could be wrong and have just heard some b.s but would make sense haha.
Most of the reason they don't travel far is the lead singer as well, he ended up with a medical condition he believes was from excess drinking that leaves him in constant pain as he puts it "I have a symptom that is beyond torturous," says the vocalist. "It feels like I'm being poisoned, electrocuted and spun around all at the same time. I'm in constant agony and torture and I also have severe joint and muscle pain."
Great vid as always, Please check out Motionless in white. Their song 'Another Life' is deep and meaningful or their song 'disguise' for the heavy one! i prefer another life first. Love from Indonesia
Why do you have a pop filter next to your mic if you already have foam around it? Seems a little unnecessary. I would take the foam off it and use the pop filter or vice versa. It's redundant.
Breaking Benjamin. In Hebrew, the name Benjamin means "right hand of God". Breaking Benjamin = breaking the right hand of God. The right hand of God in the bible is Jesus, the Messiah. This is why 100% of all breaking benjamin songs are about the scriptural battle between evil, the fallen Angel's, verse the good, and the end times, often symbolized by the conjunction moon over the sun in all of their sets. Which is prophesized as the end times battle between the two.

I agree. They put on a great live show!

“So Cold” is alright. It’s alright! (X9)
Breaking Benjamin will always be my favorite band. I have been in love with their music since they came out. They are amazing in concert 🤘💚🤘
They have just uploaded the high quality official So cold video on their channel.
I don’t feel like that’s a coincidence!

Just listen to their entire discography, all of the songs are worth listening

Dude I wish I’d had a connection like that during school!
Fun fact: Billy Corgan helped write some songs on We Are Not Alone.
Funny how just 3 days ago they uploaded the original video in hd in their oficial channel XD
Great reaction as usual
This is probably one of my favorite breaking Benjamin songs nice reaction dude
Thanks legend, I love seeing your name pop up!
Thanks ✌🏻
Yes this is the best live version
You should check Dance with the devil from BB (the original version from Phobia), it’s amazing!!
Should watch Frans Georges' cover of this song, it really shows off the awesome guitarwork.
You gotta check out the song Break My Fall. It's a banger.
I'm not a Breaking Benjamin fan but this is the one song I have always enjoyed a lot.
Bruh..... noice pick.
Thanks Jed! I’m gonna go listen to full quality now

Ben also has a fear of driving and death.
Yeah, he has Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome, which is caused by excessive drinking. He no longer drinks.

Terima kasih!!!!!!
Please do a react to "OPETH - Ghost of Perdition (LIVE AT RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE)"...that would be awesome!! :)
Ohhhh but you missed the harmonies since you watched the live 😪
You need to change the video title. This definitely ain’t live in 2014.
Good pick up, you’re the only person that saw that one!

The tests I did at the time made a huge difference to have both, I use an Sm7b now
