Jacob, I appreciate your response. Your video got me to a place where I was able figure out the install. I ended up running off the “Parking Light” fuse. Finished it up tonight and they work great! Thanks!
Great video and great tips. I received my new Angel Eyes headlight sets today (with no instructions at all) and I wasn't sure why x3 red and x3 black fine wires are hanging out of the back of each headlight (in addition to the main wiring plug with pins). I've now spliced the fine wires together as two separate groups (all reds, and all blacks), with on red end sticking out and one black end - as per your advice. I plan to continue the project tomorrow, and I believe I just have to source the positive and the negative connections on the parking light connection, by using a multimeter tool. Fingers crossed it all goes well. Thanks for sharing your cool video bud.
Dude I got some halo lights as well for my 2001 Honda Accord and I can’t get the rings to turn on so I just connected harness to harness. All the black cables and white cables are just freely.
these connectors are made to cut through the wire jacket, they are designed to keep the jacket on so they will self center in the connector. take your pliers and squeeze down on the metal crimp before you close the snap ring. Also a little dielectric grease would not hurt either
Thank you for this video. All the other videos are just frustrating with lack of important information. You have the nack for explaining things. I subscribed brother, thanks again.
Soldier and industrial shrink tube with the heat activated glue is a far better connection than the piggy back connectors. Your wire is going to corrode using those connectors
Jacob, so what's the final install look like cuz I'll be doing my Spyder headlights on my truck but not sure where everything will be connected? Could you reply please.... 😭
Video ended before you got to the car to connect, but I'm guessing from there, it's just connecting to a power source for the DRL halos? My E85 has a large connector with everything coming to one point that plugs in the car. the Spyder headlights show the White and black LED lead wire already connected to the large connector, so I'm guessing that's the power source and i just piggy back the halo's off of that and connect it for the DRL's? Spyder's video is extremely vague and useless and does not help and their tech support isn't much help either.
Thanks for the video... Wish you did part 2 but I figured it out. I have one high beam out but I don't give a damn right now about that. I'm happy I pulled this shit off 😂😂😂 my ride look super 🔥
I got some halos for my Slingshot. There are 4 headlights and I have 4 halo rings. Can I connect each ring to each headlight or do they have to all get piggy back and then connect all to one headlight.
Using the "guillotine" connectors is a cheap, sloppy way to make said connections. Stripping the common wires and twisting them together, then using a spade male/female connector to mount 1 main wire to the main connection is a much more solid way to accomplish the goal. Many connections create several weak spots vice one connection being stronger and more stable.
If you're using those crimp terminals how do you connect them to the park light from the bulb harness? I feel like you wouldn't want to cut the wire from the bulb harness to use the other end of the terminal. I honestly don't know, but I just got my lights delivered and want to do a good job on the install.
Great video, just a question though how would I wire my halo rings in my fog light to my parking lights. Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you
That is how mine is im putting halos on my 07 dodge nitro & they have a red & blk wire poking out of both were in da hell do I hook them up to? He had a whole bunch of $hit going on...
Hey buddy great video, but I got a quick question! Other video's keep talking about a CCFL connecter which I don't think I need for my Spyder headlights. Is it necessary for me to have it? I have hooked up my LEDs to my running lights but need to hook up my halos is that what the ccfl would be for? P.S., I don't really know shit about wiring I just learn on the fly.
CCFL as I know is a type of light. Such as LED. On this application my halos are are CCFL. Not sure what kind of connector they are talk about but if you use the piggy back method you won’t need anything else. If this doesn’t answer your question let me know. Thanks!!
Is this the same set up for the headlights from my car. I have a 2004 mercedes e500 and the harness for my headlights are 4 pin plugs. The headlights that ordered have a 5 pin plug and won't fit with the harness from my car. Any suggestions
I take electrical tape and wrap it around the those snap on connectors for wires. Why? Because I had some unclick. Some are cheaper quality too. Also you think it cut into the wire to make contact and then you close it. Nope. That happened to mu radio years ago.
nice i got some halos for my o4 ram today i got 2black wires. 1red. 1white but my question is can they be wire as daytime lights and how can you do that thanks in advance
Hey I got a pair of these for my Chrysler 300m and my cars Blinkers are on the bumper side markers which is obviously where my DRL is so I'll be connecting the Halos to that but the New lights have 3 little LEDs Can I connect them to the blinker ? So to have a Blinker in the Headlights?
2010 jeep jk . I'm trying to connect a halo led to the side lights. They have a red and yellow coming out of the halo led. Which colors do I attach this to on side market which I believe is black and white
I only have one black wire which is three spliced into one for the lower LEDs and in another separate spot there is two spots where only a red and white wire comes out but no black?
Mine are wired so if I turn my light switch to the middle the halo lights and fog lights turn on and when i turn switch all the way all lights turn on.. how can I make it only halo lights without fog lights turn on when switching to middle light on switch.. by the way its the same truck 04 dodge ram 1500
So wit this piggybacking, theres no need for ccfl??? But i thought it was needed to convert or sustain power to/for all the l.e.d.s ??? Anyone help me out with this??? I did find your video better than spyder,..THX.
I think you either have CCFL halos or LED halos. If you have CCFL halos I believe you need the power inverter. If you have LED halos I do not believe you need the power inverter. This is based on the information I have found researching the same question this evening.
acob Gambrel bro you make no sence. Yes you can connect red and white wires it's okay its power/ positive wires. Black with black ground wires. So on your headlights you have your turning signal. Pick what style you want your halo lights to show, like have the L.E.DS stay on with ur halo lights or they can come on when you turn your signal on. Easy to set up. Message me if anyone needs help. This dude has no clue
It’s sad that your video isn’t “professionally done” but your explanation was, by far, one of the BEST!! THANK YOU 🙌🏽
Jacob, I appreciate your response. Your video got me to a place where I was able figure out the install. I ended up running off the “Parking Light” fuse. Finished it up tonight and they work great! Thanks!
Dude thanks for the video you made way more sense than sypder video their video had me all nervous and confused

I also have 3 red and 3 black did u connect all alike colors??
@@zebstrock978 I have the same question did you ever figure it out ??
I have three white and three black did this work
this video is WAY better than the one that came with my SPEC-D halo's I just got. THANK YOU!!

Sir you are a godsend

Where is part 2?
Part 2 never came out? Lol

Please man do you have a follow up video?
Seal those with silicone goop or don't count on it lasting more than a few years once rain and salt gets in
I got some halos for my Slingshot. There are 4 headlights and I have 4 halo rings. Can I connect each ring to each headlight or do they have to all get piggy back and then connect all to one headlight.
Thank you! Husband was able to install his Halo lights with no problem after watching your video.

Hey Jacob, in the video you said you were going to show how to install the headlights in the truck. Is there another video for that?
Dan Johnson it got flagged not sure why
I bought new head lights for my 1990 bronco and it just has white and black wire. My question is , where do I connect this wire to?
How do you call those blue connectors and where do I can find them?
Do u have to order the quick connectors separately
Buy em at any parts store
so when you go to connect them to the truck where do i need to connect the rings and LEDs on the bottom
How would you connect Halo Fog lights to the parking light? just two wires coming out the back (red and black).
That is how mine is im putting halos on my 07 dodge nitro & they have a red & blk wire poking out of both were in da hell do I hook them up to? He had a whole bunch of $hit going on...

Is there anyway that u can send me the second part of the vid possibly?
Awesome!! It makes sense now. Could you show how to connect it to the truck? I meant the wires...
Thank you this is so much better than the other video 🙏
Thank you I was struggling
Can I connect 2 halo to one driver??
Is this the same set up for the headlights from my car. I have a 2004 mercedes e500 and the harness for my headlights are 4 pin plugs. The headlights that ordered have a 5 pin plug and won't fit with the harness from my car. Any suggestions
How about a video on how to hot wire the halo on a 2014 st glide.
Is a part 2 ...
Where’d you go? Did you get locked 🔒 up :c
I take electrical tape and wrap it around the those snap on connectors for wires. Why? Because I had some unclick. Some are cheaper quality too. Also you think it cut into the wire to make contact and then you close it. Nope. That happened to mu radio years ago.
Where's the other half of the video? How to connect to the headlights wire.
Where did u plug in the white and red wires??
nice i got some halos for my o4 ram today i got 2black wires. 1red. 1white but my question is can they be wire as daytime lights and how can you do that thanks in advance
Do I need a step down transformer or anything like that
What if you do put the white and red together 😳
Good vid. Tip for you; use linemans pliers to secure the piggy backs. They're stronger and have a larger surface.
where do the red wires connect to?
Hey I got a pair of these for my Chrysler 300m and my cars Blinkers are on the bumper side markers which is obviously where my DRL is so I'll be connecting the Halos to that but the New lights have 3 little LEDs Can I connect them to the blinker ? So to have a Blinker in the Headlights?
In theory yes. I have never done it that way but as far as I know it should work..
What if you don't have a white wire
2010 jeep jk . I'm trying to connect a halo led to the side lights. They have a red and yellow coming out of the halo led. Which colors do I attach this to on side market which I believe is black and white
Jay Diaz I'm going to guess the yellow is the ground but I would check with a voltmeter or a wire diagram for your vehicle.
Can you video chat me and show me 😭😭I just got some for my Honda Accord 2001 and it’s such a pain so many cords. 6 cords total
I only have one black wire which is three spliced into one for the lower LEDs and in another separate spot there is two spots where only a red and white wire comes out but no black?
Lyric Derbin Your set may be different than mine. Just remember you need ground and power. You will need to figure out which is which.
Jacob Gambrel I got it figured out, thanks!
Can the red and white wires be wired together
What if your light just came with the red and black wire? Mine doesn't have the thick white or black wire.
Then all you have is power and a ground.
Thank You!
Mine are wired so if I turn my light switch to the middle the halo lights and fog lights turn on and when i turn switch all the way all lights turn on.. how can I make it only halo lights without fog lights turn on when switching to middle light on switch.. by the way its the same truck 04 dodge ram 1500
You would have to wire it to the middle wire on your headlights ASSUMING from your turn signal light, the middle one is your parking lights
Is it the same for dodge nitros?
Thanks dude I thought I was fucked
Where is the car video?

what do you do with the white wire?!
I did all of this and my LED and Halo’s still don’t work what did I do wrong please help
Wtf do I connect the last wires to 😂
can I put the red and white wire on the parking light line?
You can just in different spots. You don't want to piggy back the reds with the whites.
@@GambisRestorations why though
Hey my head light wont come on when engine running help
yeah wheere do we wire those into nowe on the veehicle?
But will when engine off
Mine doesnt have red wires
So this is halo where's the mods elites Spartans grunts 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So basically you showed how to crimp wires.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 800$ headlights and the directions are junk.
So what happen now 🤔

Help
This is the WORST possible way to wire this up.
Dislike because you're using vampire clips.
camera work is crap
Still dont explain shit
Thank You!
Where's part 2 ???
