You're very welcome. I am glad you enjoyed it! 😃 Hoping for a few nice snow days still (very warm and rainy currently), so I might be able to film another one this winter. 🤞
You're very welcome. 😃 Epic Classical music is quite unusual for a workout video, but I also think it's a great fit for the scenery. Always good to try something new. ✨😎
Perfect for my Crosstrainer! I am 70+ and this landscape looks like the countryside in Sweden, where I've spent many winters with my family. Thanks a lot!
That sounds like good memories. I guess Sweden is a bit wilder on average, but the snow is a great concealer. 😄 Maybe the Oderlake winter video is enjoyable for you as well. It's not HIIT but it was such a beautiful day (maybe add your own music to the workout): th-cam.com/video/Lbe_W_3lSeg/w-d-xo.html 🌞❄
I would love to do some HIIT videos on the beach. It's a far drive though, so nothing that can be done spontaneously. Maybe next year. I actually have filmed something at the north sea two years ago. It's not HIIT and was filmed with an older camera, but I still like the atmosphere.: th-cam.com/video/2cie9t9d4gg/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/G9emWb5_2wQ/w-d-xo.html
@@oppositeworlds1460 Yeah, I really like the sound from the water as well. In hindsight I should have crossed the beach more directly in the beginning. But these little things only come from experience. I would love to go back to that beach and film it again with fewer clouds. The sunrise must be so beautiful. 🌞 The weather is often a game of luck when it comes to having clear skies within a narrow timeframe. 🤠
@@120spm Whatever you do, I am pretty sure it will be amazing, by the way, what program do you use for the timers? I would like to add timers to the video on the beach if you don't mind or better yet, maybe you can add the timers and make a 30 minute workout, (30 seconds sprint/60 seconds recovery * 13 cycles) beginning right at the beach. If you don't have time, I would really appreciate if you let me know what software you use for the timers. I wonder if you are using Adobe Premiere Pro... Greetings and happy holidays!!!
@@oppositeworlds1460 I am using Davinci Resolve to build the timers from scratch within Fusion, which is the very powerful visual effects compositing software that comes with it. It can all be done with the free version, but requires a little bit experience of course. It would be easy to add existing timers to any video, since I can copy/paste the whole overlay structure easily. I am a bit unsure about TH-cams rules in regard to "reused content" though. Uploading different versions of the same video with too small changes might risk expulsion from the TH-cam partnership program. That's why i don't upload two versions, with and without music, for example. It's probably not an issue for a single video, but might be if it happens repeatedly. So, the idea behind my animated timer playlist (th-cam.com/video/QirFMcXoCxQ/w-d-xo.html ) was to allow everyone to add timers to whatever video they want to watch whenever they want. This only works though, if whatever setup is used for watching videos comes with the so called PIP-function (short for picture-in-picture). It allows overlaying the main video with a smaller secondary video, so you can add the timers to a corner of the screen. It works in any modern browser on PC and Laptops, and higher end TVs also should have that function. It's probably possible on many more devices, but I havn't done any research on it. Without PIP one could also use the smartphone or a tablet to have the timers on a second screen as a workaround. Let me know if that works for you. If not I can create the beach video with timers. I just can't do it for several videos. Happy holidays! 🌞
Same here, so I am happy the video was able to fill your void at least a little.😺 They didn't even prepare the cross country ski tracks so people would stay at home. Such a pity, as we had some of the nicest winter days in years, when the sun finally peeked through in february. If you're up for more this might be enjoyable, too: th-cam.com/video/Lbe_W_3lSeg/w-d-xo.html It's not an HIIT video, but a scenic brisk walk with deep snow intermezzo in the middle, and an exceptionally beautiful finish. 🌞
Thanks! 😃 I am working on a new HIIT workout right now. Basic video structure editing is finished. But, as always, I find it difficult to find a fitting music arrangement. 😤
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed your workout. 😄 It would have been perfect if the sun had peaked through the clouds a little bit. But it was a great day nevertheless. ❄️🙂
I am amazed by everyone of your HIIT videos that you have on your channel. You seem to get everything right. The timers, the music, and your outstanding filming makes it easy to just exercise. In this video, it seemed like every sprint interval (except the last one) was on an uphill incline which caused me to work harder. Excellent job and Thank you.
Thanks a lot for this very positive feedback! 😄 I have simulated filming these videos holding a stick as camera surrogate during normal HIIT training sessions to build up some routine. I am glad it paid off. 😂 There is still room for improvement of course. Let's hope additional experience will do its magic. 🙃
Thank you! 😄 There will be more, I promise. But I havn't filmed anything right now. And the greening of nature is just about to start. 🌞 So it might take a while.
Hi Melody! Luckily for this video snow shoes weren't necessary. 😄 The fresh snow covering older tracks was only about 10-15cm deep. So that was actually fun. In Sankt Andreasberg it were at least 25cm on the upper layer. And I was breaking through additional layers of older, compressed snow, that were easily carrying nordic skiers or snow shoed hikers, all the time. Being in a hurry, because camera batteries deplete much faster in sub-zero conditions, didn't help. 😋 I actually don't own snow shoes yet and I have no idea if using them without trecking poles to be able to handle the camera is viable. But after a few more challenging deep snow encounters this year I am more than willing to give it a try next winter.
Oh yea the camera stability! Totally forgot about that. We have snow a few hours away from us in the California mountains. It looks similar to where you filmed this! I’m not a fan of walking through snow 😂 Thanks for doing it for me 😜
@@MelaTVonTwitch 😂 You're welcome. And you are in good company in this regard. I was very surprised how many untouched otherwise well frequented hiking trails I came across this winter. The next video will have sections with well compacted and with deep snow. The difference in pace between those two is staggering. So, if you ever feel like exploring the California mountains in the future, it's also useful illustrative material. 😁
Beautiful music and scenery! A great workout and a balm to my soul. Thank you!
Thank you! Yeah, the overcast atmosphere has something soothing. Definitely influenced the music selection. I am glad you enjoyed it. 😃
