Can fortuner's suspension be made better, if we replace it's original with prado's. I drove fortuner, the biggest flaw was suspension. Please give your feedback
Great review,I would prefer prado due to its comfort .Moreover my friends prado is giving an average of 10 Km per L , but I agree it depends upon the driving style. Keep up the good reviews and its a request from us that kindly do not do paid reviews

I'd definitely go with Prado, fortuner v stands no chance to be compared with prado which by all means is a premium car. Finding a good used car is a challenge though. The video helped me a lot in my decision making. Thanks guys

A suggestion...if you're doing a comparison, you should spend equal time in both cars. In this case, you're seen only driving and highlighting the Prado.
We have an Prado TXL it is very good car we facelift the car model 2012 to 2019 we bought this car 2 months ago ilove this shaheel and Bhai you are doing good work and you are very hardworking
Very good selection of rides for comparison; though both are entirely from different classes. But keeping in view the Pakistan market dynamics and price brackets this comparison is justified. Excellent review; backed by very good information and details. My humble suggestion would be for SUV comparisons add some more details on their off road capabilities. What’s the point of buying an underpowered SUV that struggles to go up steep inclines with 7 passengers and AC running ? I would never prefer the Prado over the new Fortunner. To me, power is extremely important because I love going to places up in the north with friends and family members. The idea of spending so much money on an SUV and then seeing it struggle would make me feel very ashamed about my purchase decision, not to mention the ruined driving pleasure. Another plus the Fortunner has is the rear locking differential. When bogged down in a sandy or rocky pit, or when crossing a river bed, just put it in L4, press the Rear Differential button and see yourself climbing out of a ditch or pit within seconds. Not all Prodos have this feature. Another point mentioning is that the underpowered engine of the Prado constantly hunts for gears in constantly bending and winding roads in the north. This, again, takes away a lot of the driving pleasure. The Diesel Fortunner‘a high-torque engine doesn’t make you go through any of that nightmare because of a wide high-power bandwidth. For me, it’s the Fortunner. Hands down.

very good comparison, also reg arding fuel average it also depends which city you live in and where you usually drive at what time. in karachi during peak hours the usual half an hour journey comes to one and half hour.

You're right, according to the owner, it gives between 7.5 - 9 KM/L on highway. About Rav4, we'll try to review it once it's launched in Pakistan. Stay tuned!
Btw this prado was totally stock and original old model... we if draw a real comparison prado will destroy fortuner in every sphere. As the comparison drawn is subjective to price i understand the spec on this particular prado. If you add aftermarket waterfall grill or new 2018 facelifted with leds and fancy stuff.. trust me prado puts Land Cruiser 200 to shame and stacks up against the likes of LX570 grill. The LC 200 front grill is absolute nonsense and old. Fortuner in not a true off roader... its a multi purpose 7 seater for bigger families whereas land cruisers have there name and purpose all in for off roading. Above all prado still look more elegant and big plus well put together where as fortuner is more of a toy. I personally i not a fan of fortuners shape tbh. The only plus point in fortuner is its powerful engine ( agian if you choose the V6 petrol or 3.0 diesel in same used price bracket, prado will again defeat it by a mile). Lastly fortuner does return a good economy ciz its a diesel and mind you prado 2.7 is known for good mileage being a SUV and it returns 9-11km/hr. I kept the prev version 2006 model TXL in 2012 , eveen that would return 7-8 km/hr. school.

It’s hilarious to hear you say that the Fortuner is not a true off-road vehicle. It’s a ladder frame 4X4 with proper transfer case with 4LO. It can literally go anywhere that a Prado can go. Yes, it’s not as comfortable, but its capabilities are known the world over. Don’t forget that it’s based on the Hilux chassis...those trucks are indestructible.
To Me Landcruiser (prado) specifically is a shame, a car named land cruiser with a 4 cylinder engine is just funny. and considering its price it isnt as luxury as it should be, and fortuner is a rough and tough vehicle and is better at offroad, you cant expect much luxury from the fortuner. overall with better looks goes to the fortuner. Fortuner has cheaper parts and cheaper to maintain with the same specs, i definately 100% prefer the Fortuner
Fortuner Sigma 4 is better choice... It is brand new, more modern, gives better fuel economy along with way much better performance, and has more features. Prado is no doubt more comfortable but fortuner is better value to money
Dont forget fortuner actual price was 55 to 60 lak rupees as it is now expensive.. so it will be a less spec variant. Maybe 2.8 can be compared to prado
Most important thing you didn't mention. Proado 2009-10 price is 1 crore 20 lacs at least, if it's in good condition. New fortuner is available in 110 lacs even for top of the end diesel. That's big difference between the 2.
Isn't it a better decision to opt for Cygnus 4.7 or Lexus lx 470 of 2006-07 model, as compared to both of these cars. That would also save a couples of millions plus the added comfort n features.
Yes, but even without the bodykit, Fortuner’s ground clearance is slightly better ( 225mm vs 220mm) and so is its ramp-over and approach angle (source: whichcar.com.au)

We had Prado 2008 in 2010 it was amazing it was the tz package after that in 2015we buyed new fortuner but it was not good as Prado
