There have been pictures circulating of prototype machines from Arcade1up. Will any of these ever get made? Plus, why does it seem like Arcade1up has abandoned their facebook page? What happened to wanting to "interact more with the community?"

From what I gather and I mentioned it on Genie stream recently. 1up debt deadline is approaching its 1 Year mark this October, if they fail to pay back their debt their next outcome will be chapter 11. Fox, Genie and MOAT were sent those leaks by John D despite his claims in order to gauge interest as he may come in after 1up goes bankrupt and could either buy their assets in liquidation or get its licenses which would all go into default and revert back to its owners. Those leaked cabs could be what John’s new company could come out with in 2025. Imagine Johns new company wave 1 starts off with Smash TV, Qbert, Tetris, 720, Spy Hunter, Paperboy, along with 6 player Xmen and perhaps even AVP. Everything John does is by no chance and if he is providing the community with excitement which has been long gone he will already be two steps ahead to come in and take all of 1up remaining fan base and garner new ones as a result.
He loses money and files chapter 11 himself if those are the titles lol

@@MrPhlypc not necessarily if only 3000 are made at a time like Burgertime, a hobby that thousands follow and no new titles in close to a year, give the community some options and make them reasonable in price and he’s back in business.

This is going to sound weird, but I'm in a weird kind of mood. You spoke about Tik Tok appealing to a younger demographic and the different kind of videos found there. I think you could Tik Tok it up here by keeping the narration audio of this video, and replacing the video part with you doing funky dance moves in front of either the prototype images, or even just your own cabs. I can tell you, something like that would get an instant thumbs up from me. I know the chance of that happening is probably the same chance as Arcade1Up releasing one of these prototypes as a final product, but dude, I think it would be SO UNEXPECTED and COOL, that even The Rexershow would have a hard time saying anything negative about this video and would feel compelled to join in and start doing The Hustle himself on his livestream!
Of course, this is all in jest, but sometimes I just gotta share when these fun and crazy thoughts come into my head.

720 is coming up soon but not from a1up, funny how these stories came out after I made this a GOW.
It seams like they shifted gears completely
Hired interns with low salaries and dumped the community and now will focus on rehashing what they have and infinity game tables and things of that nature and stuff will just get released whenever without much warning or fanfair
Like the tiny arcade company or something
Stuff will just randomly pop up on Amazon
It looks like they thought the company would be bigger selling retro cabinets but ultimately there were not enough buyers to be profitable
And no one wanted to pay $700/800 for those classic titles and that’s where A1up needed to be .
And needed to sell way more at that price
Did you see the time crisis cab with riser next to X-men. Those pictures are so old.
Yea, I did mention that in the video. To me, that places that x-men cab to even before Time Crisis came out since Time Crisis completely changed into the deluxe form factor before it was released.

John D is still in that group and the reason Arcade1up hasn’t kicked JohnD out of that group because they don’t care about social media. It’s “official” in name only. John D loves attention and has a big ego, hence the AMA and him doing that original takeover with the original Arcade1up group.

Yea, because it's skewed to a younger demographic. Seem's to be their focus (IG and tik tok over facebook and twitter/X)

I hope I'm proven wrong. Just trying to be a realist based on what I've seen and things I've heard.
